Leeds is another big club to lookout for in this year's premier league. The way they played against Liverpool was very fantastic. I was marvel with the way they played against Liverpool.
If they continue playing this way, they will surely end up as top 10 of 2020/2021 premier league

It's like your seeing the Leeds team through my eyes. There style or tactics of play is just amazing for a team that just came off the championship. They come out to play football and not being scared to hold their defence line.

Chelsea didn't impress me much today, though they managed to bag home a point with a 3-3 come back. The game was supposed to be a win for Chelsea.

Leeds is been wonderful in every game played so far. Holding Sheffield to a draw at their home isn't one of their best as I'm sure they can still win. But, it's amazing how this new borns in the premier league from the championship has been making waves so far. To them, every match is a real deal and interesting to watch.

I'm thinking Liverpool will get the title again this year, unless the recent signing of Diaz to Manchester City can shore up their backline, and get some stability back there. I think we're looking at a very good Leeds side that will finish in the top half of the table, while Everton could throw their hat into the mix into the top 5/6. Despite Tottenham winning right now, I'm not overly impressed by them this season, and I don't think Gareth Bale will have an impact like everyone is expecting. At least not until he regains some sharpness, and fitness.

I thought Chelsea were really going to push top 2 this season between Liverpool, and Manchester City, but that West Brom performance, and Thiago Silva mishap might have just put some doubt in the mind of that team. Thiago Silva given the armband, and then I believe being stripped of it after that mistake isn't the best way to start his premier league debut.

Sheffield United have a horrible fixture list coming up, and although I do believe they'll pick up points against Man Utd, they might have some confidence issues after this very difficult schedule of theirs in the opening few weeks. Especially, since they've yet to score.

Leeds seem like they will be the favourite team of most neutrals this season, they have a fantastic style of play. the way they attack and keep possession, it is refreshing. Sheffield United lose again this season, that is now played 3 lost 3 for them and they really will be in trouble at the end of the season fighting a relegation battle if they are not careful.

I agree with you Smartvirus because even though Leeds are a newly promoted team to the Premier League they have been making waves and really are an interesting team to watch. Their manager Bielsa has them playing positive attacking and ball retention football.

Tottenham should have won that match, Newcastle were fortunate to have that penalty and Wilson scored after 97 minutes because of time added on by the referee. Tottenham were punished for not scoring the second goal to put Newcastle out of touch.

Manchester City 2-5 Leicester City

What a game....

After going a goal behind after 4 minutes, Leicester City managed to turn it around to make it 1-3 at half time. What a goal from Maddison to make it 1-4 and a fantastic header goal from Aké to amke it 2-4 but right at the end Mendy bringing down Maddison in the penalty was just plain silly. Leicester played brilliantly and Manchester City will be panicking as they do not want to open up a gap between themselves and Liverpool.

What a game....

Isn't just Liverpool Manchester city would be worried about, this season is taking a turn to show no one is safe, Liverpool still remains my favorite to retain the league but to make big four is very open and city should be worried about the other clubs, they -Manchester city- are a team that can still catch up and breeze through but if they become complacent on that fact they would be left with a bitter taste in their mouth.
Leicester beat Manchester city well at the etihad today and their goals are increase something that will benefit them in time to come.

Well, i want to say it was a good performance filled and var error prone weekend;

Manchester united survived Brighton scare with a late late victory amidst a terrible performance; while Chelsea got humbled against Westbrom. The core discussion today is regarding Manchester City loss at the EMPTYHARD ( etihad). It was a poor performance with terrible defensive displays, and also the midfield failed  to work hard too.

Another interesting premier league weekend, with an hattrick for Vardy who has now scored 4 penalties this season

I missed watching Manchester City vs Leicester and when I first saw final result I was thinking it was some mistake. 
Leicester was my favorite underdog team last season and they are starting stronger this season.

West Ham United 4-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers

An unexpected win for West Ham. Wolves just did not seem the same team that press high and control possession, West Ham were just so desperate to win the game and they did it in style, well done to them.

It was a mistake on your part because it was a real exciting game to watch. Manchester City just do not scare, dominate or attack teams they way they did two/three/four seasons ago. Leicester really deserved the win and on this form Leicester vs Liverpool would be a great game to watch when that fixture takes place.

Manchester City need to fix their problems soon otherwise they might be out of touch of the top two for the whole season.

@Welsh it is very difficult to argue with what you wrote but I would go further and say Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal just are not prepared this season to challenge Liverpool. Of those teams I mentioned maybe Arsenal and Man City (if they sort themselves out at the back) could possibly cause some trouble to Liverpool, otherwise they will easily retain the title.

In response to the other things you stated I would say Bale will have an impact when he gets the opportunity to play and him being around has lifted morale at Spurs, it has also allowed Mourinho to be able to effectively put Dele Alli up for sale.

Everton will be playing a good solid style this season, they seem up for it. Leicester City too.

As for Chelsea with that clanger from Thiago Silva, what a disaster for him and for Chelsea against West Brom. Imagine the flak Kepa Arrizabalaga would have got if he was playing in goal and were losing 3-0 at half-time.

Sheffield United are in trouble, looks like a long hard season for them fighting relegation.

It will be tough for Fulham to get anything from the game against Villa. As for the big game Livepool vs Arsenal I think Liverpool will edge it but it will be a much closer game than it would have been last season.

Let us not forget however that there have been really exciting teams to watch that came up from Championship. Norwich was very attractive too you remember and when they beat City last season there was hope that Teemu Pukki would be among those fighting for Golden Boot,,, and the same with Bournemouth who had amazing matches with physical ability and attacks. But you have to be practical in EPL and know your depth and play to your strength not over expose yourself all the time.

Lot of missing players for both teams in today derby match Liverpool vs Arsenal, and both teams started great this season with two wins, but now they have to face each other. Liverpool was much better last season, but lost two time from Arsenal.
Odds suggest Liverpool is favorite here, and they are better on paper but I am not willing to risk home win with this odds.

You have both Chelsea and Tottenham taking the final two Champions League spots? And you have Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal finishing above Manchester United? Well those opinions are very bold, will be interesting to see what happens at the end of the season

Another interesting set of opinions. You think Chelsea and Arsenal will qualify for the Champions League but Tottenham and Manchester United will miss out?

I think it is safe to say that if Chelsea do not get a top 4 finish and qualify for the Champions League then Lampard will be sacked - unless they win the Champions League this season because they finished 4th last season.

Of this set of managers I would say it seems highly unlikely Klopp, Guardiola, Solskjaer, Rodgers and Arteta will be under threat from losing their jobs this season but Lampard (and Mourinho if he loses the dressing room again like he has done in previous jobs) could be in big trouble.

DeathAngel well, you did say it is very difficult so early on in the new season but that is what makes guessing the final table positions so much fun

I don't see manchester united finishing in the top four one bit. Uefa champions league has not been Arsenal's game so no doubt, they've always got thre spot right from 5th and below.

It's been a nice game for Fulham - Aston Villa so far with Aston Villa wing by 3 goals to 0 (Fulham 0-3 Aston Villa).
Who knows if it's a proper preparation for the surprise of the weekend to continue in the Liverpool - Arsenal match.

It is very difficult to predict the end of the EPL standings this season. There's still a long way to go, lots of matches to play, if your guess is right I think it's a coincidence. Despite being able to win against Man City, I think Leicester City will have a hard time getting into the top 4. Although all opportunities remain open, I think staying in the Premier League for next season is extraordinary.

It all started after just 4 minutes when Grealish scored for Villa. Fulham look like they will not be able to keep up with the other teams in the Premier League and will go straight back down after getting promoted at the end of last season.
