It is always weird to see players walk off and hear that they may never be the same again. Kobe had a achillies injury and shot the free throws and walked off, I assumed it wasn't a big deal, it was end of the game so he wouldn't return and maybe have like few game rest at best and be ready for playoffs, dude had to close out a whole season and a half to recover and was never the same player ever again neither.

I hope Virgil is better since from what it seems it is about knee and not ankle, saw the crash but couldn't understand what went wrong, it was a crash alright and was a very idiotic move by pickford, but no idea if his knee bent wrong way or anything else, when I saw him walk off, I assumed it wasn't a big deal and he would return soon, turns out it was like Kobe, Virgil is just tough and had a season ending injury and suffered the pain while walking yet didn't moaned about it.

What in earth were Tottenham thinking allowing West Ham back in to the game? Liverpool and Manchester United have both been beaten badly and City are a shadow of the team that used to put fear in to opposing teams. Everton are sitting at the top of the league...

Once again, Leicester proved to al that they are a different side entirely whenever wilfred ndidi is unfit, with the drab loss to villa. For unknown reasons that villa team seem to be brewing confidence.

Crystal palace are their own undoing, inability to keep a cleansheet means they also ended the tie in a draw.
While for Tottenham, it is shocking, spur went from title challengers in the first half only to draw from 3-0 up. The myths that mourinho teams can persevere and win while 2-0 up already in the mud.

Changes in midfield seem to have succeeded in making MU win. There have been some changes that I have seen, Fred and Scott McTominay emerging as the starting eleven. They replaced Pogba and Nemanja Matic. This makes MU's midfield more solid. Apart from that, at least Solskjaer will continue to coach United maybe for a few more weeks.

An early change like this can not give us any precise conclusion. MU has been struggling not to lose for many seasons. Right now, the club is full of frustrated players and surely they dont have the any fighting will. Coach is needed to be replaced. We cant no longer suffer this pain. West Brom just cannot get a win and Burnley ar enot playing the type of football they have been associated with for the past couple of seasons. West Brom look like they are getting relegated at the end of the season but Burnley are too good for that and will easily stay up in the EPL.

The rules do feel wrong. AFAIK the FA can only take retrospective action if the official's view was impeded at the time, or they just didn't see the incident. It seems bizarre that for anything where the ref did see it, they have to always just go with the 'in the moment' decision with no corrective action afterwards. I appreciate this may lead to teams saying 'he was banned afterwards, but not sent off during the match... so you're saying he should have been sent off during the match... but he wasn't, and we lost points as a result'... but surely it's better to be correct afterwards rather than persist in a wrong decision.

Aston Villa can maintain this good performance possibly, we were all surprised when Leicester City was able to win the EPL some years ago, Aston Villa can be the hero of this season, although this is just a guess because nobody can still predict the club that will win EPL this season. But with what we are seeing now, I am thinking it is even very possible and likely for Aston Villa to make it to UEFA Champions league next season with their onset good method of palying.

Villa are plating excellent football but they do not have the squad to maintain a title challenge until the end of the season. Leicester faded last season after a strong start and Villa along with Everton will probably go the same way but Everton might be able to get a top 5 finish whereas I doubt Villa will.

Oh that was a good day for me.... Aston Villa scored in last minutes and won against Leicester! No Vardy means no win for Leicester and it's that simple. What a ride for Aston Villa who is now second in EPL with perfect record from four matches.

I suppose after what Villa did to Liverpool and that injury to Van Dijk it must have been sad days for Liverpool fans but the way Tottenham destroyed Manchester United and then the way Tottenham collapsed against West Ham probably gave you the giggles

Today has been a frustrating day for Leeds United. I watched the match. Leeds United at least played much better than Wolves. But I think their luck was bad, that's why they could not win the match. hope they will be more concern about their today's loss and will try to correct their mistakes to will win the next match.

I was expecting Leeds to win the game because they have been performing average since the start of the season, and also for their home advantage. This has just been the beginning of another season, they are only yet in the fifth week, matches are expected to still be very tough among EPL clubs, but with time, things will surface out in a way people will be able to predict. As for now, prediction is highly inaccurate.

Bad news for Liverpool fans, Virgil van Dijk injured his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the match against Everton. He was hit by a horror tackle from Jordan Pickford. According to the news I heard he could be out until the end of this season. There was even news that he was able to reach the highest level of play after 2 years of injury. Meanwhile, the return time for a player with an ACL injury is generally 7 to 9 months. We hope Van Dijk gets well soon.

So sad. Van Dijk is a key player in the Liverpool squard as he not only defends but also nets the goals in hard times as well. No wonder they just managed to win the game against Ajax by a goal to zero. It's going to create a lot of difficulty for the team both in the Premier League as the compititiveness just got to a whole new level and the Uefa Champions League has always been what it is, an andrenalin rush game. I guess Jurgen Klopp is got to figure some magic out but, it's such a sad time to loose a key player.

On the Leeds 0-1 Wolverhampton game, I'm still surprised at the outcome. I never thought Leeds where to loose to a mid tier club based on the fact that, they've been doing so well that it seemed so but then, Wolverhampton has not been a very easy team especially when playing against top and tough teams. I guess that's the scenerio that played out in that game.

Damn it must be hurt for kepa and now I'm concerning how kepa's mental health might be shaking ..
I know the club statement said that the reason behind that is because of covid19 that noone can predict ... all of the main goalkeeper suddenly could be infected by the virus at the same time .. or could be unavailable for some other problem caused by this pandemic,  the point is that cech registered as an emergency goalkeeper, this is just an epic situation. Well what else did Aston Villa expect from playing against a big club like Leeds, I always felt that they haven't regained their balance since bouncing back into the EPL. It's not like in the English Champion League where Villa had an easy time beating everyone because the opposition was all mediocre.

Aston Villa cannot hold their No. 2 place in the EPL standings for the entire season, that's for sure. Leeds and Liverpool badly want to get to those higher places for sure.

Only five matches have been played this season in EPL, nobody yet known who would be in the first two or three positions, if you can check the points almost all clubs there are having, there is just a little differences. Nothing is predictable for now, I am not certain of Liverpool but strong in a way they can be in the position, but Leed been in the second position is not certain, the chance is very little.
