Costa Rica is a team with enough potential. They cannot be ignored in any way. Renowned teams need to learn from past results. And of course, they have to try to play well against a relatively weak team. The South Korean team is quite strong. My guess is they will be second in Group H's table. Winning against Korea will not be easy for Portugal and Uruguay. Korea's defence is strong, and the forward has talented players like Heung Min Son.

Most of the users are not sure about Group G, as well as Group A. In Group A, there is no doubt about the Netherlands. But the question is about the second team that will qualify. I would give preference to Ecuador, given their strong performance in the CONMEBOL qualifiers. Senegal is a strong team in CAF, but I don't think that they have the capability to defeat top CONMEBOL teams.

We in Europe often underestimate the Asian, African or North American national teams because we don't follow those teams and players.
I see that almost no one believes that even one team at the upcoming World Cup, which comes from Africa, Asia or North America, has a chance to pass the World Cup group.

It will take some getting used to for everyone. The temperatures there are of course normal for a summer, because of the climate. It is not easy for the football players. In the middle of the competition you still have to play a World Cup. But the advantage is that it is actually the only well-known sporting event in the sports world. So all eyes are on there. Exactly, since the pandemic and then this war started, nothing is in its normal rhythm.
We must remember that it would be crazy to hold the games in the summer in Qatar, the weather would be very inhospitable for the players.

Agreed on COVID. The pandemic is still claiming hundreds (if not thousands) of lives every day, but the media is not giving much importance. Ordinary people have a false sense of security and believe that vaccination can protect them from the disease. A lot of vaccinated people are getting infected and some of them spend days or weeks at the hospital. The death rates are low for normal healthy people, because they already have the antibodies from the vaccine. More than half a million cases per day are being reported now around the world.

I think it's nice to change it up a bit. Also, in the Southern hemisphere November will be roughly the end of Spring, and soon the start of Summer, so it's nice for the people that live there.

It's always a bit odd to refer to a specific point in time as Summer or Winter, etc, because that's different in each area of the world. Maybe it's fine for national sports, or news, but for worldwide events you also would need to know where the person saying it is from, which makes things a bit more complicated.

Agreed with this all statement now things are changing very frequently and if we have changed in this time it's not bad at all even this could be helpful for many countries and we can do this in future as well because in summer many countries are facing problems so this change could be a landmark for this game and future in the middle east market which is now preparing for bright future. The decision to host the World Cups in Russia and Qatar was made 8 years ago, if I remember correctly, and has nothing to do with the current situation in Ukraine or the Covid restrictions.
In fact, there were many complaints and suspicions, and even specific accusations, that there was a lot of corruption and illegal actions in the process of choosing the host for both World Cups.
After all, Former FIFA and UEFA Presidents Blatter and Platini fired for corruption.

Where are you from? We in Asia have no seasons so it really doesn't matter much if it's end or middle of the year, both times are when our own leagues don't play anyway.

I still don't get why it's a problem for most people, it's not like we are the ones playing football there, and most of the teams are on their off season anyway (except Europe but that's their problem lol).

Where are you from? We in Asia have no seasons so it really doesn't matter much if it's end or middle of the year, both times are when our own leagues don't play anyway.

There are a lot of people who like to gamble during the season, european one, where it's from late august to early June or even may basically, and that is a lot better for them because it's all the big clubs and teams play. And that is a very good thing because you see PSG, city, Liverpool, bayern, juventus, milan, chelsea, real, Barcelona etc etc etc all these huge names all play during the same weeks.

This means you can make 10 different bets, all on the same day, all for teams that have 300-400 or more million dollar worth clubs. You can't have that during summer, sure you can still gamble and find some games, but they won't be as big as the European ones.

They didn't state the statics or data they used to come up with this prediction, Anyways
