It's definitely a win for Portugal. I don't see anything North Macedonia can do to turn it over for a win for them. Portugal has a hungry lion, Cristiano Ronaldo who didn't scored in their last game against turkey. North Macedonia tactics is playing a defensive game, if you take good look at the recent game they played against the defending Euro2020 champions, Italy. It was defensive throughout the game, before managing to scored at stoppage time. Now, take a general view of the game that is set against Portugal and north Macedonia. The match is going to be more interesting because Star players like Jota, Ronaldo and Fernandes would want to prove their selves. Well.. we'll get to know in another two days whether North Macedonia is truly lucky or not. World Cup qualification is the prized catch here. If they go down against Portugal in the playoffs, then all of their efforts will go to waste. I also want them to be successful, but it is a difficult choice. If Macedonia ends up in the world cup, that means that we'll never get to see Ronaldo again in the tournament. Actually I am angry at FIFA. They have limited the number of qualification slots from UEFA, and still I see a lot of undeserving teams qualifying from CAF and AFC.

This is a fair ratio to assess the likely victory of Macedonia in my opinion. Another thing is that 1.2 to win Portugal looks like a gift (although I don't like small odds). It seems to me that Portugal will decide the winner in the first half and the score will be (after the first half) 3-0 or so. It seems to me that Portugal's style of play is the least suitable for Macedonia to be able to successfully defend. El Salvador will be very difficult for Costa to beat. Also, the game will be hosted by El Salvador, and they won't want to lose in the home. But, Costa had come a long way, and don't have to lose this match. Maybe, their coach should probably use the same straight they played with against Canada.

Odds on this game was so small for Italy, even with handicap you needed -1.5 to get over 1.5x. I never really understand why people put a lot of money on small odds games, especially when it comes to football, where there are probably a lot more upsets than we think (even a draw is an upset!).

Well, I just hope whoever deserves it goes through. Italy didn't deserve to go out, maybe, looking back on performances past, but can't say Macedonia didn't deserve it either, to make it this far with a style of defending that the Italians gave up a long time ago.
