That was a great fight anyway. What I liked, that both fighters respected each other and there were not trash talk before the fight, and after the fight Joshua admitted, that Usyk was better that night. If I am not mistaken, they both unofficially agreed for a rematch.
Who Usyk is going to face next? Wilder vs Fury 3 winner? With all respect to Usyk, Fury is to big for him.

Joshua - 25 (64.1%) Usyk - 12 (30.8%) Draw - 2 (5.1%) Total Voters: 39
The majority of us here underestimate Usyk and were very confident that Joshua will win, my take on this is Joshua was exposed against a very aggressive fighter who knows how to take an angle and deliver a clear punch, that take away everything on Joshua, there were rounds that Joshua dominate but it was short domination Usyk is very quick to change his gear and always have an answer on everything Joshua is bringing, so we'll see now if Fury can carry the British flag against Wilder.

It everything falls into plan, then why not go for the winner of Fury vs Wilder trilogy? It will bring him more money an then greatness if he ever won against Fury or Wilder? It will be another history in the making for Usyk. If I'm not mistaken, the last time that we have a great cruiserweight jumping to heavyweight is Evander Holyfield. So Usyk might follow the footsteps of the great Evander and become the undisputed heavyweight champion.

It would have been a disaster for Usyk and a blessing for Joshua if the scorecard was unfairly tallied up to be a draw as in what happened when Fury really won the first fight against Wilder but it was given as a draw. Fury taught Wilder a boxing masterclass in the re-match and I think Fury will win again in Fury vs Wilder III Thankfully for Usyk, he did not have to deal with dubious judges decisions because he was clearly the better fighter and the clear winner. Good thing though is that the judges did a good job and didn't screw Usyk, otherwise if we hear that Joshua won in this fight, there will be a lot of accusations on a home cook decision.
Joshua was in total shock, he even doesn't want to stand in there because it was a disappointed performance from him wherein everyone is expecting that he will win by knockout or by decision. But it was the other way around. Not sure how he can adjust in the rematch if ever he and his team exercise it, I know he bounce from a Ruiz lost, but Usyk is different and he has difficulty against a technical fighter.

It could have been concussion or simply the shock of how not only was he defeated but the manner in which the defeat was inflicted. Joshua just did not look comfortable from the moment he appeared in the arena long before he walked in to the ring. Maybe he is mentally not as tough as we all thought. I find this one very odd after the bell of the last round ring Usyk raise his hand and Joshua did not and he sat on his stool for several minutes before being urged to get up and go to the referee for the announcement but once Michael Buffer announce Usyk as the winner, Joshua was in total shock I don't know if it's the result or the score, I agree on the unanimous decision and I guess majority will also agree I don't know why Joshua was in total shock when he should not. Full story and the footage here https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/anthony-joshua-sarcastic-reaction-usyk-25074850Yes, perhaps by this moment Joshua finally came to his senses (after the final bell he could not stand on his feet and was sitting in the corner) and that was the moment when he realized that he had completely lost the fight and lost all belts. By the way, I don't know what part of the body the judge watched the fight with, who gave the score 115-113 - but obviously not with his eyes. Usyk's advantage was more obvious.

Even if the trilogy between Fury and Wilder takes place we will see Fury facing Usyk if Fury is undefeated by that time. Everything is mixed up right now, the potential fight everyone was looking for is gone forever by the way things are going and if it happens it will not have the same hype they had before the Joshua loss. If Fury wins the trilogy against Wilder we might see Fury and Usyk fighting next year.

Evander Holyfield's shoes will be too big for a boxer in the class of Usyk to wear. The only boxer in the present time that can be compared to Holyfield will be Tyson Fury. I like how he punches. Joshua is not fast with his punches and can hardly move around fast. I remember the days of Mohammed Ali when boxing was an entertainment sport and fans were thrilled with Ali jumping all over the ring. I see that in Fury. Usyk is just an average boxer.

You are right, there is no way the score by any account could have been 115-113 on any scorecard. That judge was over complimentary towards Joshua to say the least. When Joshua sat down after the fight he had nothing left in the tank, he simply was not good enough on the night and this is not the first time he has been beaten by a fighter that is technically better than him. I think Joshua knew very early on he would not win the fight but the question is why did he not try to even once unleash his right hand with an uppercut or hook with his maximum power? Over 12 rounds he his boxing simply was not good enough. Yes, perhaps by this moment Joshua finally came to his senses (after the final bell he could not stand on his feet and was sitting in the corner) and that was the moment when he realized that he had completely lost the fight and lost all belts.

That was a great fight anyway. What I liked, that both fighters respected each other and there were not trash talk before the fight, and after the fight Joshua admitted, that Usyk was better that night. If I am not mistaken, they both unofficially agreed for a rematch.
I personally bet for Joshua victory in that fight , but him surprisingly lost by unanimous points and had to be willing to lose the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO heavyweight title belts and this became his second title loss after what happened in 2019, and In my opinion, Joshua performance in that fight didn't seem to be his best performance so far, because I saw Joshua's appearance in the previous fight looks very good, and I think Fury will be a comparable opponent for Ussyk for the next fight.

He was indestructible but not anymore. I pardoned his first defeat but this second defeat is too much for me to bear. He should just take some time-off the ring and maybe go someplace to an island and start training all over again. I am heartbroken.

The Ruiz result really hurt Joshua you can see that he no longer wants to sit in front of his opponent and throw punches and instead tries to box more but he has never been a good boxer but a boxer that has very good knockout power. It is disappointing to see such a iconic figure take a big decline recently but it happens to the best and most legends of boxing pick up losses towards the end of their careers. I know Joshua is still young 31/32 but I do not see him having a long career he looks like he has lost that spark and did not talk to the media after the fight and went straight to his hotel.

I do not think it is the only reason that Joshua won the rematch Joshua made the most of Ruiz coming in more out of shape then the 1st fight and went with a more boxing style using his reach to keep the power shots of Ruiz away from him but because Ruiz could not move as much as he could in the 1st fight he could not get close enough to Joshua to hurt him but the times that he did Joshua looked worried. Joshua made good adjustments in that fight but the rematch with Usyk if there is one will be totally different Uysk is a fighter that keeps getting better in his career and he is not going to be out of shape and I think he will be better in the rematch then he was this time because he will be more composed and will know the weaknesses of Joshua more. Joshua needs to come into this rematch with everything on the line and fight like he used to before the Ruiz fight and try and knock Uysk out because he is never going to unbox or out point him.

Many professionals knew Usyk could win the fight, I only learned about that minutes before the fight started and they were speaking in the commentary in the studio. Those that fought against him at cruiserweight knew he was the real deal. Those professionals that saw his cruiserweight fights also knew he was well capable of winning. I always thought Usyk would fall short and Joshua would win but what do I know? Usyk now can now double his money with the Joshua re-match and if he wins again he will probably take part in the richest heavyweight boxing fight of all time which will make the winner the unified undisputed heavyweight champion. I think Fury will hold all the belts then will retire undefeated

I didn't bet on this fight but I was watching the fight live and I was rooting for Alexander Usik. Terrific fight, both boxers showed good technique and speed. I was especially happy with the end of the 12th round when Usik took the initiative and did some good punches. Congratulations to all who bet on Usik and of course to the Ukrainians with a victory!

I think Fury will hold all the belts then will retire undefeated Bellew was one of the best Cruiserweights in history and he got defeated against Usyk by knockout. I thought Bellew was winning most of the fight up until the knockout but Usyk proved he was a good boxer before fighting Joshua but I think most people try to describe and hype up Joshua as this undefeated opponent because of his appearance. A man like Joshua should not be losing against Ruiz and I think now fighters see his flaws and are not scared of him any more. Usyk showed little respect of his power and when Usyk was clipped by Joshua he countered immediately every time. I think Joshua might be finished at the top level and will be a top 3 fighter but will never hold onto belts again. If Fury gets the belts there is no chance that Joshua will beat him for the belts. If Fury retires and Wilder gets the belts that is the only chance I see Joshua holding belts again but Wilder is not going to beat Usyk. The only person who can beat Usyk is Fury imo.

I hope that next fight Fury will have against Usyk. Just think about how funny their press conference is going to be, as both fighters love to make fun of their opponents or the press. Instead of trash talk or saying "I will KO you in first round" or "I will rip your head off". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXWJy7sV0UAhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWGVL6Q_j6YOlexander Usyk is so kind and funny. ^^ It just dawn on me, a fight will be Fury vs Usyk might be boring? No?
Both are technical fighters, as we all know that style makes fights right? So two fighters with the same style? Maybe we will see that no one wants to throw punch and wait for the others to make mistakes? So we don't know if Fury will be the aggressor on that fight and Usyk contend to counter punch or let Fury missed his punch.

By the way, I don't know what part of the body the judge watched the fight with, who gave the score 115-113 - but obviously not with his eyes. Usyk's advantage was more obvious. Yes, it was interesting to me too, we did not hear anything about any problems with Joshua's health, but even in the first rounds his blows looked not like blows, but like sluggish waving away from flies.
I will not be surprised if this happens, as in the Joshua - Usyk fight, it seems to me that in the Fury - Wilder fight, Fury's chances are too high (from the bookmakers and the public), after realizing the mistakes (I'm sure it happened) Wilder will have no less real chance of winning than Fury.
