I am eyeing for Talon on this match but they lose the first game. They're on the 2nd map now and KDA are just close to each other. 11-11 TL/Talon. I can't comprehend their heroes if late game-wise because it seems that both of them will be able to push the game into a late one. Luna for TL as their carry and terror blade for Talon as their carry. There's also storm for TL while Zeus for Talon.

Talon did their best in the early game, but it wasn't enough to snowball their lead as TL hunted down Talon's BB several times. Overall, TL drafted very well in both games, countering Morph with Dark Seer and then AA in the second game to shut down the heal and sustain on the side of Talon.

This only shows who's more experienced. They know what to do and what to pick for such heroes, I guess that they've learned all the way this year and they just want to secure everything that they can to shutdown who they need to shutdown and has more impact during the mid-late game.

After Team Spirit looked shaky in their series against VP, it feels like TL is currently the team to beat in the upper bracket. Then again, we still have two series left, and one of those teams could surprise us like they did during the seeding matches.

I thought that Team Spirit will be seen on the lower bracket after all of their great performances on the group stages and seed but, experience also taught them on how to reach properly with such crucial games when they've been into a deficit and few wrong moves that can turn the entire game. We will see on who's the better team and has got more application of their experience next week as it's going to be Team Spirit and Team Liquid.

It was an awesome first day of the playoffs, although all the teams predictably advanced. I would note that the games I got the most pleasure from watching were Team Spirit vs VP with a score of 2-1, in which VP were very close to making a sensation. On the 2nd map, by the 51st minute, we had won back the entire gap and it seemed that we had to calmly end the game, but Muerta simply destroyed all the heroes very quickly and with crazy damage. Everyone ran away from her in different directions.



And reconsider the moment at 58 min 23 sec. where the Miposhka on Tusk saves Muerta. This moment blows my mind, it's why they won the game.

As for the second game, which I will rewatch today for the second time because I am simply delighted with the peak, LGD - 9Pandas, which lasted more than 1 hour with tier 5 neutral items. 3 of my favorite heroes showed up there: Elder Titan, Magnus and Outworld Destroyer.

I completely missed the group stage of IEM Sydney, not used to the difference from the usual EU/NA tournaments match time. Seems we got some upsets and interesting results there: Vitality not winning a single match, also BetBoom and Complexity made it to playoffs. Must be caused by CS2 and MR12 changes.

The odds for today's playoff matches are interesting, almost equal with ENCE and Complexity as the slight favorite. Guess the market still have a lot of uncertainty with the teams performance in CS2. I'll bet on ENCE and BetBoom, my first CS2 watching experience will be enjoyable.

This is exactly why Complexity won their playoff match today against G2 Esports knocking them out with a 2-0 win.
G2 didn't know how to respond to the new format when Complexity were up 7-5 at the half then won the following two pistol rounds getting them to 9-5. Once it got to 11-7 they were only two rounds away from the victory when G2 is still imagining they still have time to mount a comeback but you have already run out of money at this point to even start one.
Faze clan easily dispatched MOUZ Esports with a dominating 2:0 win aswell.

So the Grand Finals are all setup for tomorrow with Faze against Complexity for the Intel Extreme Masters Sydney.

Since Complexity has not been in a finals like this with the new roster they came in with I will side with Faze Clan for winning the whole tournament.
Solely because they have been a solid team for a while now and have had experience being in this situation already many times before.

I remember seeing something with S1mple from Navi complaining about having to travel to Washington D.C then to Stockholm or somewhere in Europe for a tournament after the Blast Premier.
So the travelling schedule does take a total on even these professional ESports players.

He shouldn't use that if he's not practiced yet. Chinese playstyle is different from his and his teammates and perfecting it will take time. And with what he has said before, he may just go and retire without taking the aegis. That's it, that's the harsh truth that he and his team just can't beat those teams that are on their team. It's likely that he is past his prime already but no doubt that being an individual skilled player, it's on him. But this is a team play game and every move that a carry and each other player does counts. Also the rival of Quinn and Ramzes is also done, Gaimin Gladiators won against 9pandas in a 2-straight games. In short, nouns will be playing against GG. After beating Tundra 2-0, Entity was beaten easily by VP 2-0 as well. I think one reason is that possibly they're already dried up with these straight games while VP is on the right mind condition. Despite that, they've taken a long hour of rest and the waiting for their match to come have taken for so long. Anyway, they probably that they were just exhausted and still they had a good run coming from the qualifiers up to ending with a 9th-12th place run.

Surprisingly on later interview to Sneyking about the team tundra, He had mentioned about having on Topson on the team which it is a bit late of making adjustments? No, its not really a valid
reason but i do still respect with those words that with those recent patches and game changes which it did really affect out their performance but in general then its not a solid
reason for you to tell considering that all teams are experiencing  the same.It is really just that this current TI isnt really that for them despite of being those champions in the past.
Im that really rooting for Entity but they had been dropped on the tournament beaten up by VP. I dont see for it to be that exhaustion kind of reason because once you do
join up with these tournament then you should really be preparing yourself a long series of games or back to back. Its not a valid reason on which you would really be
saying about having that being tired.

Yes, I have the opinion that VP gain strength as the tournament progresses, this is very dangerous for their opponents. I even dare to compare them with Spirit at TI10, from whom everyone expected to be eliminated in the losers bracket at every game, but this didn't happen. VP are strong, I get more pleasure from watching their games than from other teams. I'll get busy rewatching these matches during these long break days. I still can’t get used to these breaks of several days.

But what I like about Team Liquid is they always surprise us with something new. Whoever makes these strategies, either the captain or the coach or analyst or anyone from their team has a huge set of mind because of these new set of strategies that they make like the IO + WD combo.

However, every match on these remaining teams are still unpredictable. I think that most of the teams that are said to be bonus rounds were already eliminated. I'm not belittling those but the remaining teams have proven that they're better than the rest, of course the eliminated ones. And with that saying, it could be anyone from the upper bracket that has a chance but the chance is slimmer at the lower bracket and there's still GG but nouns was also good at their run. Not mentioning the two Chinese teams, who knows if they'll even the ones to face each other in the finals.

I would like this to happen in the future, but I am afraid that Saksa may not recover, or if he returns, his illness may manifest itself again at any moment. Topson probably just doesn't feel the team game 100%, he needed more time playing in the team to fit in completely. This is still the highest level of play and such small things are felt. In any case, I think that Tundra will be fine.

Out of 12 matches in the playoffs, we saw the score 2-1 only 2 times. I think it will be 2-0 in all future games you mentioned. Games with a score of 2-1 definitely make me happy because they are the most entertaining.

I would've agreed with you if both Chinese teams were still at their peak. At the moment, I have higher hopes with the other two teams that'll duke it out for the first UB final spot, so i'm leaning on a Spirit vs. Liquid finals.

I'm also expecting Team Spirit to knock Team Liquid, and I might take them to win outright at 2.70 because if they can survive against Team Liquid, it might be smooth sailing for them to the grand finals.

At this point , I think VP are the real dark horses of the tournament and I won't be surprised if they will somehow manage to find a way to eliminate BetBoom from TI , however , BetBoom is the type of team that accumulates more confidence with each game they play and that's why I do have BetBoom to actually reach TI finals this year but until then , VP will prove to be a hard team to knock off.

I also believe that Liquid has the best Dota 2 strategy right now and it was about time because last major and last DreamLeague season they simply had no motive to actually play Dota 2 on a high level but we forget that they had full 3 months to prepare for this with all their 6 coach drafters ( yes Liquid has a lot of coach drafters in their team behind the scenes ) and we can see right now that they been practicing a lot for this TI so that's why I'm leaning towars Liquid to actually win TI.
