Anyway, two chinese team won twice today huh this is kinda surprising for me.... Also as expected from two SEA teams they lost twice today. NA and SA teams are also having a bad day today, pretty much all within my expectation though. Those 3 regions are basically the weakest for now

I'm also shocked that both Xtreme and Tidebound are off to a hot start, and the teams they've faced aren't easy to beat. Even though the SEA teams lost, i'm still impressed by Team Nemesis and how they nearly completed the reverse sweep against Team Falcons.

Wildcard got unlucky with the matchups, meeting Team Spirit in the opening round and then Aurora on the next, while Heroic had one easier series that was against NaVi, and even that was a 30-minute stomp.

The good thing is that both of them are facing the SEA teams today, so they should get their first win unless they haven't done any preparations.

I see that there is another big tournament in CS2 is approaching us. It is FISSURE Playground 2 with a prize pool of $1,250,000.
They are distributing the same amount of money as the last Esports World Cup did. Teams will absolutely take it very serious.
By the way the difference between the 2 tournaments is that this one splits the prize money as player share ($500,000) and club share ($750,000).

This tournament from what I have researched begins on the 11th of September and runs until the 20th.

Team Tidebound and Extreme Gaming won again today. Impressive huh, winning 2-0 against Parivision. Chinese teams are really taking this seriously but tomorrow they gonna play against each other so that would be a different story.

Expected win coming from Mouz over M80, but they needed a third map to close it out. The other series ended with G2 sweeping FaZe, and i'm glad they haven't slowed down after the upset against Spirit.

The SEA teams are just handing out free wins at this point, and i'm confused to see the bookies favor Boom over Wildcard for tomorrow's match.

The last set of matches also ended earlier, with Tundra completing the reverse sweep against NaVi Juniors and Yakutou Brothers, with an impressive comeback against Nigma Galaxy in game three after trailing for more than 20k gold in 30 minutes.

I also like Team Spirit and in fact, one of their players is part of my fantasy and that's yatoro. Anyway, they've lost against XG and it seems the festival of the strongest teams in the world is real right now. There is no weak/strong teams here and all of them have the twist that they can give on the opponents and we as fans, we're just happy to see quality dotes starting from the day 1. As for my 2 bets, I've got in a losing streak and maybe tomorrow I'll win some.

The meta clearly shows that the Dominator item is broken, we all see this item in almost every game. Even Anti-Mage built it yesterday. Now in the Spirit vs Tundra match, player 33 built a Dominator and shows miracles on Doom. Spirit looked very confused on the map.

That's true, dominator for carries and offlaners. I've seen that with 33 and they've been making that. But not all that does that are dominating like with the dominator of Nemesis' doom, it didn't do that much. Anyway, Nemesis is surely eliminated already and here's the recap of standings for day 2.

Today Team Spirit is having a very bad day. Parivision beat them 2:0.
And now there is a match Spirit - Aurora where they are losing 3:24. Aurora's roster includes a TorontoTokyo - as you remember it's a Spirit mid laner at TI10.
t's unbelievable, because the author had a coefficient of 3.5. But I still have hope because I saw Enigma for the first time at this International.

I also didn't know Heroic would bounce back like this, as I had them under one of the three teams that would finish the group stage with at least four losses.

In the other series, Team Spirit somehow lost 2-0 to Aurora. The playoff situation could get interesting because if they manage to qualify after this, then they might have a rematch with Xtreme Gaming.

Dota TI is going on with insane matches almost everyday. so many maps are going to 50+ mins, been a while since TI has been this hype, even without the insane prizepools it used to have 

Most teams try to play it safe and avoid throwing the game, as it's always risky to force high ground even with a huge advantage. We had one example yesterday during the Nigma game against Yakutou.

Yeah, we've been seeing the builds that have been made on this group stage and there are such new meta that they're also doing. For sure that the pubs are going to be filled with the same builds from these hero pools that they've shown us.

It's amazing how weak Spirits showed themselves, and how strong Bet Boom showed themselves. This is practically the level of Chinese teams who are in incredible form at this International.
If I understand the current system correctly, Aurora is going home. It had two players from the Spirits first team: TorontoTokyo and Mira.

I was about to bet on Aurora to win but then I decided to change it to Nigma +1.5 for slightly higher odds lol. I guess this one paid off for my parlay. I was purely betting on this just because it had higher odds than Aurora to win, never would have expected Nigma to actually make it there. Honestly I wouldnt even trust them to get into playoffs, they just really not capable to do so atleast in my mind

Furia played well but lost as usual. At least with these members in the group, they're reaching the semifinals, before they couldn't even reach the quarterfinals. So I hope they improve and start reaching finals and winning. Always being on the verge of victory is tough.

I can't imagine what kind of sedatives those who bet on Falcon had to take. I don't understand why Spirits took Bounty Hunter, it's completely inappropriate. Well done for Nigma. Galaxy, it's been so long since we've seen them in the main stage and I am happy to see them get back. While I feel bad for Aurora for not closing it and they're already eliminated. No more threepeat hopes for Mira and then two-peat for Tokyo. I am watching the last series of the game and that's with Team Falcons(1) and Team Spirit(0). I went for Team Falcons even with low odds because they seem too patient with the map 1. Yatoro's nature's prophet did a backdoor to the throne but it's not enough.

It's an absolute cinema for the last series of today. BH pick is good for early pick offs and scouting, they get the advantage of it. But I agree, it's better if they've picked something else who's got more disable.
