I would have wanted to see him against Ronaldo in the final, but that cannot happen anymore..... so I will settle for a Messi vs Mbappe

Messi against mbappe would be a very interesting match. I saw that how mbappe is putting a very big respect for christiano ronaldo when mbappe was commenting on ronaldo's instagram called that ronaldo was still a king and goat.
It seems like that mbappe will not let messi to create another record that can beat ronaldo by winning the match against argentina. France was in a very good condition. I thought that a though game gonna happen in the final.

Everyone's dream is to bring GOAT CR7 and LM10 together in the world cup final, but unfortunately CR7 has to go home early in the quarter finals and that hurts him a lot. Now talking about the ideal world cup final between Argentina and France, of course both of them have influential players in their team as you say Messi vs Mbappe, we know that stopping these two players requires a strong defense, otherwise there will be opportunities for goals to be created.

At least in the previous match both of them were heavily guarded by 4 to 5 opposing players and that made it difficult for them to move or feed players, but if that continues then there are other opportunities for other players who are free in the opposite position. Apart from all that, I hope that Argentina and France will be able to present an exciting match in the final and hope that at least a total of 4 goals will be scored by each of these countries.

there will be an interesting effect in my opinion in this game which is the following: mbappe will be playing more individually to overcome messi in number of goals and also in winning the world cup, and this will destabilize the france, while in argentina messi plays calm way and focused on making him pass the ball to all the players in argentina, messi is the center of all movements in argentina, and it is very difficult to contain messi, because argentina has many good players

I think it's an ideal final, as you said it will be a balanced match, and interestingly there are four players in the final who will fight to be the top scorer 2 from Argentina Messi (5) and Alvarez (4) and 2 from France Mbappe (5) and Giroud (4). It's rare that the final will have many goals scored so of the four names the competition will be between Messi and Mbappe. Waiting to see what the bookmakers will offer for the goal scorers in the final, there might be a very interesting odds boost to follow.

Mbappe did played bad in quarter and semi final matches without any goal. He lost his advantage for a competition of top scorer in World Cup 2022. It now becomes a very interesting race among four players, 2 from Argentina and 2 from France. Will this race end with all four players have 5 goals at the end?

If Messi, Mbappe won't score any goal and Alvarez, Giroud score one goal in a final match, the competition will be decided by total assists of each player. Messi will win the top scorer in this race if have to use total assists to choose a winner.

Agreed on Mbappe. I wasn't impressed with his game during the last two matches. He wasted too many good opportunities and didn't passed the ball around. Messi on the other hand played very selflessly, giving opportunity to the other Argentine players to score goals and actively assisting them. Lionel Messi has so far 3 assists to his name, compared to 2 for Kylian Mbappe. Apart from Messi, three other players have 3 assists each (Bruno Fernandes, Harry Kane and Antoine Griezmann). So Messi has higher chances of becoming the top goal scorer this time around.

Yes mbappe do didn't scored in their last game but I don't think he had a bad game, he was good defensively and helps his team to the next round, in this type of competition,you don't need to be star man in every match, this game will be very interesting to watch because all the top goal scorer will be involved,I just believe that Lionel Messi will win this cup,he deserves to win it,for all he had done for football fans all over the world.

They will make an extra effort to control Messi.  In this case, there will be a freer playing field for other players.  If that happens, Argentina will find more positions.  Mbappe may not play individually.  There are still many tournaments ahead of him and while Messi is about to quit football, Mbappe will surely surpass Messi in other world cups.  It's like that's for sure.  So I think Mbappe will know the weight of the final match and will play accordingly.

for strength there is no difference between France and Argentina, these two teams have quality players in every line.
It will be very difficult to predict who will win in the final, but one thing is certain, this is an ideal final.
I haven't looked at the betting exchange yet but if the odds are favorable I will try to bet on Argentina's win in the match.

Not only Messi, Mbappe will also take part in this fight. France attacked more in the first half but Morocco tried hard to defend.  However, in the second half of the game, Morocco was repeatedly leaning towards the attack, but the French players were ready to stop the attack.  However, Morocco had a few chances but they couldn't hit the goal post.  I think Morocco still lacks experienced strikers to shoot good star goals.  Although there were many opportunities but the biggest pity was that Morocco could not capitalize on them.

France played defensively in the second half, so not many opportunities were created for France. Meanwhile, Moroco tried to apply pressure in the second half and played more openly, but due to poor finishing and a fairly solid French defense, Maroco was unable to score.

France opened the scoring again in the 79th minute, starting with Kylian Mbappe's movement in the penalty box which Randal Kolo Muani managed to take advantage of to increase the score to 2-0. The Final will be even more competitive because it will bring together two evenly matched teams.

I do not see Lionel Scaloni, the Argentine coach, pulling any tricks. It is basically going to be the strategy and tactics they used during their match with Croatia. These are two formidable teams, and I think that the Argentine coach is going to have five men in the defence. Messi is going to play against his teammate Mamaby, and both are excellent players and talented forwards. The way I see it, France will win the World Cup and be the third team to ever win it back-to-back.

France will never allow Argentina to have their way to win this FIFA world cup title, than to use all their tools to mark their players not to have access to achieve goals that will give them victory. Since France has good defenders in this season, show that it will be difficult for Messi to have opportunity in this final game like the way he had opportunity in Croatia to achieved penalty that made them to moved to final stage.  No matter how hustle Messi hustle in this final game, it will not be easy for him to score a single goal from this game because France are very ready to go home with this title this season.

I must admit, however, that the French team's performance left much to be desired. Morocco confirmed their good form at this tournament. It was obviously a dream for a lot of people to witness the two GOATS in the final. But sadly Portugal could not make it. It was really heartbreaking to see how Cristiano Ronaldo was crying on his exit from the World Cup. Lionel Messi is still there and still fighting.

Yes, we saw Lionel Messi being guarded by at least three players at all times in the match against Croatia. However, Messi was still creating good chances, and he continued dribbling away with the ball. He will have to do that against France as well. He will also need to make chances against France and he will also have to be ready to make some hero plays. And we all know that Lionel Messi is still very capable of doing that. Even the haters of Lionel Messi want him to win the World Cup this time. But it is going to be a challenging task to accomplish.
