It is the "World Cup" but we haven't seen any team out of Europe to become the winner of the title for so many years. The last year it happened was 2002 in which Brazil won the cup. Just think about it there have been twenty years since that time. This shows how much Brazil and Argentina especially were away from their performances in the old times. These two teams were accustomed to being the champions quite often before the 2002 World Cup. It was even under the domination of South American countries much before. But football has changed too much after a certain point and they've been left behind by European teams.

For the World Cup in this year, maybe especially Brazil and Argentina can be successful. They both have solid game strategies and efforts recently. At least one of them has the potential to reach the finale and that team might be Brazil.

Messi and Ronaldo are still icons of world football. Although now their performance is declining in each of the teams they defend. But his appearance is still awaited by most football lovers. Preferably, African club, but what I am afraid of is the referees. World cup referees are not friendly with the African Teams. That not withstanding, fair play can bring out the best in the world cup. European clubs, Asian clubs and African clubs are my prediction to win the world cup.

I support Germany to be the winner, Spain to be the second and Italy to be the third. Both Spain and Italy could switch sides too, it does not matter. Germany has it so poor and lucky in the last world cup despite having the best players. They must have learned their lessons and given a fierce fight this time.

Argentina with a world cup title before Messi retires would be something very special. He is lacking only that one title, if he gets that as well then I do not think that anyone in the world would ever dispute the fact that he is the best player that ever played.

FIFA have advanced the opening by a day. According to the new schedule the opening is on November 20 at Al Bayt Stadium. Host country Qatar will play against Ecuador on the opening match. This is mentioned to be a rare change that isn't done in the past. 20th November falls on Sunday which seems like a good choice, so that everyone around the world can enjoy watching.

I would even take a bet and say that Neuer will still be playing in four years from now! I don't know whether he would still be the first goalkeeper at the next World Cup, but I do believe that he will still be an active professional goalkeeper.

I have to agree with you, as since 2019 I have seen news that Bayern would be looking for another goalkeeper to replace Neuer after his retirement, but that never happens. In fact news about Neuer's retirement dates back to 2016.
But, on the contrary... Neuer is still active and being one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Regarding injuries, goalkeepers have a low risk for this, one more reason to believe that Neuer will continue for a few more years.

Neuer didn't have any serious injuries at all. If that was the case I would be rather inclined to say that it might soon be the end of his career, but if he can keep competing on the highest level possible with Bayern Munich, why would or should he stop playing?

Qualifications are one thing, the competition itself is something completely different. It would not be the first time that a team, which played somewhat worse in the qualifiers, played brilliantly at the world championship and became the world champion.
Don't forget that almost a year will pass from the end of the qualifications to the start of the world championship, which is a very long period and a lot can change in the meantime.

France is a team that has a very complete depth of players than squads from other countries, they will defend the title of defending champion. but if we look at their match stats the last few years, their game is in poor form, they have problems between individual players. and this is a note for Didier Descamps to fix their squad.
England, the Netherlands, look ready for this tournament, but they are not the only favourites.
Brazil is the favorite candidate because they have a good match record, their game is very solid and filled with quality players.  Germany and Spain are also not very in favor, they are in the process of updating their players.

There is a possibility that Portugal and Argentina could play in the finals, just like almost most world cups. In current situation, no one has any doubt about France but still as we are heading for this event many things could be changed, and we will have to check all updates about these teams and their players because if any team lost one or two players then surely it's going to be terrible for them, and surely it's going to be had a bit of impact on their performance as well France can defend their title because still their depth and quality is amazing in this game.

With we have few good challengers which are also good like England, Brazil and Argentina even nothing is surely until the start of this event but still these teams are going to be very tough for their opponents and after them, we have some more which are capable of giving tough challenges, but we have to wait for some more time for all latest updates and performance of players because right now many things can change.

All favorites will have no problems in the groups.
