Qatar is very hot in the summer and it's impossible to play matches in that desert weather. People have trouble even breathing due to the humidity. The break given to the leagues is delayed and the seasons start early and end late. Space is created for World Cup, it wasn't too difficult to do. Since its the first time an event is being held in middle East and everyone knows how good these counties are in managing things. So everyone is looking forward for this event. AFAIK, Asia has hosted the fifa worldcup once only and this is the second time worldcup is coming to Asia.

Although, sports Minister Al-Ali has already indicated in a press statement that “a new, unprecedentedly high standard of excellence” will be in force by Qatar in 2022 for hospitality as the guest country.

This means that it is very likely and expected that beer and other alcoholic refreshments will be available for foreign guests in the hotels and marquees. However, this will not be the case outside, including in the stadiums.

Now, that's really strange. I'm not convinced they will not have beer for sale in the stadium, specially when Budweiser is a sponsor of the event:

I do not see anything complicated in this topic. FIFA should not organize championships in countries whose culture is radically different from the dominant global one. If there are sufficiently wild cultures (well, or let's just say different ones) where such things as cannibalism, flogging for sexual preferences, etc. are allowed. then there is no need to deal with them at least in such things as football. If they want to get into a large family of peoples, then let them change. If they don't want to, let them go their own way. But I think it is wrong to advertise their wildness.

FIFA is a very powerful organization. They even have pushed to change laws in some of the countries they have hosted the World Cup.

For example, in Brazil 2014:

FIFA World cup 2022 will be interesting. It will be like a thug of war. Just that my favourite club, Nigerian
Super Eagle has been nocked out in the Qatar qualifiers stage. But i am still hoping to support another club (Country) in the tournament. Preferably, African club, but what I am afraid of is the referees. World cup referees are not friendly with the African Teams. That not withstanding, fair play can bring out the best in the world cup. European clubs, Asian clubs and African clubs are my prediction to win the world cup.

It’s  sad one of the team with the best players currently in Africa won’t be playing in the 2022 World Cup. Nigeria has a lot of good players that are doing very well in their respective club outside the country. But its unfortunate they didn’t get a slot to represent the nation. In this World Cup, I am bidding for Senegal to go far in the tournament. There outstanding performance during the qualification has proven they are ready to fight for the cup.
Portugal and Brazil are also favourites teams that can win top 3 in the World Cup this year.

Asian region have perfect time for watching FIFA 2022 World Cup Qatar because held on rest time after finishing working, my country really support for watching several match actually on group stage. Have several match held on evening time and give chance for us waste time watching all match exactly on group stage, but have several match held on time for sleeping and looks will miss match if held on early morning depending with my country time. But World Cup 2022 Qatar as the event each four years and keep watching after waiting for long time although with my country not participants yet.

Actually I am glad that Australia managed to qualify. This adds more diversity to the world cup, as Australia represents the Oceania continent (although technically they are part of the AFC). If New Zealand is able to defeat Costa Rica today, it will add more diversity to the world cup. Bad news for CONMEBOL and CONCACAF, but it is good to see teams like Australia and New Zealand playing in the world cup. BTW, Australia will be placed in a group alongside France, Danmark and Tunisia. Quite a tough one, if you ask me.

Costa Rica ended up winning against New Zealand, with an early but not beautiful goal. So Oceania will be represented by Australia only.

After watching the New Zealand vs Costa Rica match, they both look a bit weak to be honest. Not sure how much will Costa Rica advance in the world cup.

It's a shame, I couldn't see the match between Costa Rica vs New Zealand, New Zealand is a country that I have always wanted to know and I think it is also worthy of going to a World Cup, on the other hand Costa Rica has already been to a World Cup and they did not do so badly, what surprises me is that both the Peru vs Australia and the Costa Rica vs New Zealand games were classified as bad, boring, without contribution, without emotions, it is strange, for me these matches must be most exciting in the world!
