Actually I am glad that Australia managed to qualify. This adds more diversity to the world cup, as Australia represents the Oceania continent (although technically they are part of the AFC). If New Zealand is able to defeat Costa Rica today, it will add more diversity to the world cup. Bad news for CONMEBOL and CONCACAF, but it is good to see teams like Australia and New Zealand playing in the world cup. BTW, Australia will be placed in a group alongside France, Danmark and Tunisia. Quite a tough one, if you ask me.

I want to see how this will work out. I saw a human shaped robot displayed but I do not know if that is the type to be used or one of those funny looking types we often see online. Disappointed with the outcome from the New Zealand vs Costa Rica match. But can't expect much from New Zealand, given the fact that they are outside the top-100 rank as per the latest FIFA ranking. The last time New Zealand managed to qualify for the world cup was in 2010, and trust me back then their performance was not very bad. This time they had a good opportunity to qualify. As you have rightly pointed out, Costa Rica is not a very strong opponent. Anyway, it is almost assured that they will play in the 2026 World Cup (since there is a dedicated slot for OFC).

Super Eagle has been nocked out in the Qatar qualifiers stage. But i am still hoping to support another club (Country) in the tournament. That not withstanding, fair play can bring out the best in the world cup. European clubs, Asian clubs and African clubs are my prediction to win the world cup.

We're still some way out from the tournament, but already I'd probably amend my forecast from a couple of months ago. I think Argentina look stronger than Brazil at the moment, and Messi is back on fire after that 5-goals-in-a-single-game performance recently. I'm also tempted to put Germany up there, they may be under-dogs, but their team is improving all the time and they are always a threat in big tournaments.

I've not watched how this works but if it true that it works according to how it is programed,then it will really be fun,but what I know is using robot as the side referee will kind of make the game dull and people won't enjoy it.
But the good thing  is technology has really improved to this extent,and it is pretty good.

Argentina, Brazil and Spain are three countries that are actually quite interesting for me, but sometimes Germany is also so unpredictable that there is always a chance of being favorites if they manage to become group leaders.

Right now I tend to prefer Spain over Germany, but that might change if I really see them not promising enough. Argentina and Brazil are my top choices. For Argentina, I'm sure they won't change much in this world cup. Messi will still be an attacking machine, this is the last world cup for him in my opinion so he has to really try to play well.

Talking about introduction of robot Into football specifically in the 2022 world Cup it is something I don't see the need in it bringing artificial knowlege simultaneously with a human referee inside the football pitch. Don't you think that there might be some contradictions in decisions in the field.

A situation where the center referee takes on a goal decision while on the other side the robot is raising flag for offside. At the end it will now boils down to VAR taking the final decision. To me that will be a bottle neck procedures and it will only make football look boring. Am sure that not what you want as a lover of football!

I'm sure there won't be any problems with the referees using their personal views. especially now that there is a sophisticated system that cannot be fooled. if someone insists on doing that, I'm sure FIFA will take firm action. fair play will be number one in this grand event.

This was a narrow game, mainly because Costa Rica focused too much on defending after their early 1-0 lead. Such KO-qualification games are always difficult, and we have seen big teams (like Italy) struggling against much weaker teams. I am happy with Costa Rica going to the World Cup, as New Zealand is a fairly weak team and I don't see them able to compete against Spain or Germany. Costa Rica also won't have it easy, but they could be good for a surprise for sure.

The tournament will take place during winter season (November-December) and by then the weather will be more tolerable. December daytime temperatures hardly goes over 25 degree Celsius, and during nighttime, the temperature can drop to around 5 degrees. So there will be no added advantage for the AFC or CAF teams. Anyway, almost all the teams that are taking part in the tournament this time are having the experience of playing in GCC nations. So I don't believe that any particular confederation will be having an upper hand.

You are right that the weather factor can have an effect on the qualifying team. But in general Qatar is a hot region and will make it difficult for teams from Europe and will give a little advantage to teams from South America and Africa, but the weather forecast for the 2022 FIFA world cup in Qatar will take place in winter.
