My view of Japan for what has happened through the efforts of the Japanese national team in the world cup this time is clearly extraordinary, because losing on penalties is something else even though in the end you have to go home. The main reason for South Korea's defeat against Brazil was their poor strategy. Brazil is a strong team. And every player in their forward line is playing very well in this World Cup. South Korea should have played a completely defensive strategy in the first half to prevent Brazil's goal. But at the beginning of the match, the players of South Korea did not play defensively. South Korea left their defense unguarded. As a result, the Brazilian players were able to break the defense of South Korea very easily. I don't think that football will gain anything, if the teams playing in the QF stage all comes from UEFA and CONMEBOL. At least one team needs to be from the other federations, such as AFC, CAF and CONCACAF. Japan had the maximum chances, as their PQF match was against Croatia, and they were ahead by one goal during the half-time. But weak defense resulted in them conceding another goal and in the end their players just imploded during the shootout. Morocco has a tough task in hand. Spain is one of the tournament favorites.

@Docnaster I think that people are expecting way too many upset’s and when Korea didn’t win they’re feeling disappointed, but the simple truth is that Korea had almost no chance of beating this Brazil squad. Furthermore Japan on the other hand showed brilliant resistance and almost came close to causing an upset, however in the end their luck ran out and they were eliminated.

South Korea lost the match in the first half because they gave out four quick goals and it became very difficult to recover because the Brazilian team was solid. Kylian Mbappé and Richarlison are the most outstanding players in the tournament. These two youngsters have displayed quality performance and harvested some good number of goals. I am expecting Richarlison to replicate this performance in Tottenham Hotspur. Brazil appeared so extraordinary last night and it should be able to make France and England surprised by what they presented in the match. I think that indeed France and England should be wary of Brazil given that almost all lines work well. Many football experts underestimated Croatia at the last World Cup in Russia, that we would not pass the group, round of 16, quarter-final or semi-final, and in the end Croatia played in the final and unfortunately lost to France.
