What a qualification for Marocco country! They did an amazing job today against Spain who simply couldn't perform and install their own play style and Marocco knew exactly how to defend for 90 minutes , pushing the game to extra time and then penalties. At penalties...well...we can all agree that Spain has an awful penalty session and Marocco had only 1 goal , shot as strong as you can in that ball and score.

Ronaldo must have been very hungry to score a goal as he couldn’t net a goal. Overall, it was a fantastic play from Portugal with very good goals. With more accurate passes and a fast gameplay, they came prepared and thoroughly whipped the Swiss. The Swiss players played with little motivation in the second half as they seemed to have resigned to their fate of having lost already.
Goncalo Ramos having scored 3 goals for the match ball is obviously the man of the match. I think Portugals gameplay was fantastic and they played better than all their previous games. Portugal entered the quarter-finals very ambitious. They literally put on a show against Switzerland. Moreover, they did this when world star Ronaldo was not in the starting 11. I was very surprised when I couldn't see Ronaldo on the field at the beginning of the match. I didn't expect them to win such a comfortable win without him playing. However, Portugal played very well from the beginning to the end of the match and became the side that deserved the win. They will play their next match against Morocco. They are very close to the semi-finals of the tournament. Now, they'll probably beat Morocco and take a tough fight with France for the final. I think their matches against Switzerland and Morocco have been a lucky fixture for them. They will have the opportunity to test themselves in the France match and I think this match will not be an easy match for them.

This is the most unusual world cup ever. It is a battle between Ronaldo and Messi and Neymar. The reason is that these star players know that this is their last world cup and they have to give their  all.  Kudos to the Portuguese team for an outstanding performance today. They have allayed my fears because usually whenever Spain meet with the Portuguese team in any competition they end up knocking them out so now that the Portuguese  rivals are out, I am looking forward to watching Netherlands Argentina, Brazil, Portugal,and France forth coming games.

That's an unlucky day for you. If you had placed the bet on some other gambling site, this could've been a big day for you. No one predicted the real outcome, even after predicting the right outcome and losing the bet is a big disappointment and it needs to be a learning for everyone to understand well and place bets.

Morocco is my favorite team, I really want Morocco to win but I know it will be a very tough match for the two country, Portugal will also want to do everything possible to qualify for semi final. I was suprised today that Portugal defeated Switzerland 6-1, but Morocco is different from Switzerland, Morocco shouldn't be underestimated we all saw what happened between Spain and Morocco today.

Morocco had better be prepared well because they won't have a similar experience to the Spain match obviously.  

I think Morocco have to be very prepared against Portugal, but don't be surprised when the same similar experience that happened with Spain will still happen against Portugal. I really have confidence in Morocco's defense, I know it won't really be easy for Morocco, but don't think Morroco will be easy to win for Portugal.

I can see so many people hating Ronaldo so much and being very satisfied when he is not in the starting eleven or on the main lineup. I don't know what Ronaldo has done for their life, so they hate it so much.  

I am sure that whatever it is, they are a team, and the coach knows what to do in the match and knows when to place the player. He also knows if something bad happened and did penalty kicks. G. Ramos has the potential of replacing Ronaldo if he retires after the Qatar 2022 world cup. Pepe will also be saying goodbye to international games after this, which will be the last world cup for both.

After the World Cup, I ma sure that some clubs will approach him because of his spectacular performance. He is still young and still has long ways f epxerinces. If he can maintain and increase his performance as well as what he did in this match, I am sure that he can be a big player. I think Japan's penalty shoot-outs are still pretty good compared to Spain, they came home so soon after.

History tends to repeat itself. Spain also lost to Russia four years ago in the round of 16 in a series after match penalties. Now the same situation is repeated in Qatar. Spain lost to Morocco on penalties in the round of 16. Coincidence? I don't think. It's just that the black streak has come for the Spanish national team.

What is wrong with Spain in this World Cup tournament? They performed so well in the first game, scoring 7 goals against Costa Rica. However, after that, Spain's performance was unconvincing. There was disappointment in the fact that Spain drew with Germany and lost to Japan, and as a result, Spain were eliminated in the first knockout round.
In any case, Morocco did well in this match, and they definitely deserved to win.

I honestly think that Spain deserved this loss %100. They knowingly lost to Japan just so they wouldn't face harder team and would face Morocco instead and would have an "easier win" and we have seen how they just got destroyed when nobody expected this. I am glad that they are gone, they caused Germany to go home, well Germany didn't help themselves on that front considering they lost to Japan as well, but in any case Spain could have won. Portugal also looks like they did much better this game than they did for a while, I refuse to believe it has anything to do with Ronaldo, but more like team play, good to see.

From this result it really made a surprise and of course new history for Morocco for the World Cup this time because indeed they were able to make it this far.
But for Spain this was really bad, from the start of the game I didn't really like their game which was only in the middle of the field and 3 failed Penalty attempts were clearly a little disappointing. I forgot about my bet because indeed in this case I was more disappointed from their game than the odds that I bet.

So many nations are happy on the win of Morocco esp - muslim countries
Never in the history a muslim country hosted a football event and never they are unable to win the world cup - they are all praying for Morocco to win the world cup - which is impossible but good thing for Morocco they came so far

I will not discuss religion in this matter because I really don't need to bring religion into football. But maybe I will only focus on their achievements and performance while they are here now and in my opinion this is feasible.
Spain is a big team and I am aware of this but on the other hand when looking at the condition they are on the pitch in this game they are having a lot of trouble especially with the tight defensive line that Maroco is doing.
On the other hand, even though I support Spain in this match, I feel that Morocco deserves a squad that can be said to be the best for them to have. It's very good to see their achievements so far and the victory through Penalties is proof that their mentality is also good, even though the opponent is a big team. which can be said to be one of the champion candidates in the world cup this time.
