I really enjoyed tonight's games despite Germany's being eliminated from the World Cup. Their game was still incredible as we watched two great comebacks from them and Costa Rica in total. Germany showed a dedication example but this 4-2 win was still not enough for continuing to be a part of this tournament.

Because meanwhile Japan did an amazing job by defeating Spain by making a comeback. Doing this against a team like Spain and while Spain weren't able to secure themselves in the group was really impressive. Germany were just desperate to watch this happening. This must be a big lesson for them.

The German national team played very well in their last game. Unfortunately, their fate is not entirely in their own hands because it depends on the result of the match between Spain against Japan. So when Japan got the victory, it became a nightmare for Germany.

I was quite surprised Japan could get the victory. Even if we look at the replays, their winning goal looked controversial. Well this is football where anything can happen  .

Japan again had another with very low ball possession and even had a lower one than a match with Germany. They had only about 17% in ball possession but again, they made a come back within a few minutes. Even a second goal of Japan is very controversy, in general they deserved to go to round of 16.

Really, whoever started this world cup betting on the favorites must have already lost a lot of money, because this world cup is being something "very crazy".

I am personally happy because Germany did not qualify. I loved this team. But more than their good performances at this World Cup, they focus on supporting LGBTQ. I don't understand why it has to be done in the football world cup. Moreover, it is a political thing in Europe and Germany, then why footballers should be supported on the field? If the German players had given their full attention to their performance, they probably would not have been eliminated in the first round. The goal of every player should be to perform well, it is not a platform to spread political ideology.

Japan played well against Spain yesterday. If such a performance can be done against Croatia, the match will undoubtedly be competitive. And I wouldn't be surprised if Japan wins against Croatia. Japan has this ability as they proved by defeating Germany and Spain.

In the beginning of the game Germany were only playing as a good side against coasta rica who were just mostly being defensive in the first half as not to concede much goals. The pressure the German boys came with into the pitch from the second half of the game must have been fueled by their knowledge of the scores between Spain and Japan which was at the moment a great threat to their survival to the next round but unfortunately for them coasta rica couldn't bow to their pressure of letting them have the goals in their desired number.
For Germany it is a disappointing tournament despite winning against coasta rica 4:2 but still couldn't qualify to the next stage.

The previous prediction might not come true but in reality it can happen, the prediction about Japan to win actually happened and basically it might be a result that requires a miracle because Spain at this moment is also not bad. It actually shocks me. Since winning the tournament in 2014, Germany has failed to advance from the group stages twice. It was a deeply disappointing experience for me to watch Germany's performance at this year's FIFA World Cup. Uninspiring was the best way to describe their performance. No surprise Germany are going out and the whole of Qatar will be excited about this. Instead of them to focus on the game, they started their campaign with political statements trying to make Qatar look bad meanwhile they're the worst nation at the world cup. Would remember what they did to a player like Mesut Özil who was among their best player during his playing days (if not the best). The fans/media made the players to end his international career on such a quick notice and nothing was done by the federation to support the player and neither did his teammates.

Fans came to Qatar to watch the world cup and that should be the focus instead of wanting to turn every fun activities into politics. They got carried away by politics and now they're going home. This is disappointing and shameful for Germany. Compared to Japan and Costa Rica, Germany was definitely the stronger team. But they lost their first match against Japan and fell behind. Still we didn't think they would win against a strong team like Spain. They drew the match. Despite being able to score 4 goals against Costa Rica in the last match, they conceded two goals. All in all their performance was not satisfactory. And because of their poor performance, Germany was eliminated in the group stage.
