It was really sad to see Ronaldo bursting into tears right after the game. He just went to the locker room crying with a big disappointment. I wouldn't have said no to watching even an Argentina - Portugal finale in the World Cup. Watching Messi vs Ronaldo here one last time would have been priceless. Because both of these players are about to retire from national football. I hope we can watch Messi until the finale. The match between France and England, is tough and by now the match would have 2:2 but England missed penalty, because i believe that with the mistake of missing their penalty goal been England, they have lose the match, because that's only opportunity i seen that have make them to equalize the game, so since they have missed the penalty nothing will make them to score again, because i believe that France will be playing more defensive more than an attack in other to protect their goal, and more changes will come in if they should win the match.

Nobody believe that any African country will perform well in this world cup, that was the reason why the OP didn't add any African country in the poll, but Morroco is making Africans proud, they are doing what nobody believe any African country can do, African countries shouldn't be underestimated now. In the end Morocco will meet France in the semi-finals. France managed to defend their victory with a score of 2-1 even though England had the chance to draw it with a second penalty, but unfortunately Kane missed his second penalty. I congratulate France, they really deserved to be in the semi-final, but I didn't expect them to be in the final.

Kane shouldn't be seen as someone to blame for France's failure, he made the mistake of missing a penalty, but it can happen to anyone. After this I hope Morocco can beat France in the semi-finals, maybe make history in the World Cup.

First Kane's missing a penalty and later Rashford's missing the target by a slight margin by a free-kick...  England could have really carried this match to extra time. I still can't believe how Kane used the second penalty that much badly. He could have kicked the ball a little more gently like he did on his first penalty. Lloris was already not going to save that penalty anyway. I can't blame Rashford for not scoring the free-kick because it wasn't a bad shot. Maybe England should have used the same tactic Netherlands did against Argentina.

How can you say you're surprised to see Croatia at the semi finals, are you forgetting they were runner up at the last world cup tournament that we saw them lose to France at the finals. Croatia has very strong midfield and that has been helping them in games. For every world cup tournament that Croatia has made it out of the group stages, they always make it to the last four. Morocco on the other hand is a surprise as no African team has gone this far before at the world cup tournament. They're really doing Africa proud, first they top their group and now they're in the semi finals.

I think their journey ends here as France are looking unstoppable, they just defeated England and I don't think Morocco can stop them now. We might be looking at a finals between Argentina and France. Maybe after all, Messi might just win the title for Argentina. It will be devastating for Ronaldo fans but good for football as the best man win the goat debate.

 I think Christiano Ronaldo's dream of winning the World Cup is ended today, I feel awful for him. I find it impossible to imagine that happening to him because he is among the greatest players in history that has established numerous records, and is determined to set more during this World Cup.
