Yes, unfortunately that England lost. Harry Kane's penalty was the final straw, and there was no better chance after that. As captain he has to take responsibility and unfortunately he failed. I would liked to seen England play against Argentina, now hopefully we will see France against Argentina in the final. I hope Harry will compensate that well, it's not easy.

Better not to be complacent if you are going to play against Morocco because they already beat the favorite teams and probably, they might surprise France as well. This could be a home court advantage for this since Morocco is slowly becoming the favorite as the only Arab team to reach the semis. France have to be prepared, all they need to do is to play their very best and let their star player do the work, this should be a total team effort for france so they can reach the finals again.

Such a dramatic finish for England!

First Kane's missing a penalty and later Rashford's missing the target by a slight margin by a free-kick...  England could have really carried this match to extra time. I still can't believe how Kane used the second penalty that much badly. He could have kicked the ball a little more gently like he did on his first penalty. Lloris was already not going to save that penalty anyway. I can't blame Rashford for not scoring the free-kick because it wasn't a bad shot. Maybe England should have used the same tactic Netherlands did against Argentina.

If a team like England which have quality and skilled players lost chances like this surely they never deserve place into last four with the game which England lost today against France they dissevered to be at the top but missing changes and their poor finishing give them lost and now again they have to wait for four years for their next destination.

Agree. Ronaldo experienced too many bad things this year, 2022 is the worst year for Ronaldo. But people must respect him, people won't forget what Ronaldo has done in the whole of his career. Morocco and Croatia are surprising teams in the semi finals now. But I think this round will be the end of the road for both teams. I think about this especially for Morocco. Too many upsets in this world cup. The under dogs rose to fame and those teams who were expected to reach the semifinals have perished. Absolutely mind blowing game of football has been witnessed by every football fan.

Portugal getting defeated by Morocco was for me the biggest upset. Astounding goal keeping by the Moroccon goal keeper. England came back in the second half with an equaliser but when they missed the penalty the fate of English side was known.

I see your point but I think it is hard to call it a perfect achievement. They were not incredibly dominant or super successful. Don't get me wrong, I see their chances very very high but they can't be called perfect in my opinion. England played better but France won. The thing is, this france team doesn't need to play well; There are so many talented players that even a few minutes of flashing can be enough. It was like that in Russia in 2018, and it started to look like that tournament in 2022 Qatar. I think France will win. Theo Hernandez almost added color to the match with his unnecessary penalty and almost made them watch overtime, but it didn't happen when Kane put the ball in the air.

Agree with this, the pressure is so strong and we know how much pressure it is especially when faced with conditions 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper even we have seen before how many failed to score at the penalty spot before.
France's game was good and that is one of the facts, apart from failing or not kicking, it is actually very difficult to say as something that changed the result in my opinion because regardless of anything, England have also fought as hard as they could.
