Boxing fans, will surely be disappointed if the fight are not going to happen this year, or at least being derailed because Spence is stalling the fight so that he can have advantage of Crawford getting older. We have discussed to death about the purse split and the PPv numbers and who will be the A-side. And we all agree that Spence should get the lion share. But if he is the one that doesn't want to make the fight this year, then for sure it will back fire on him and will criticized for waiting to long before agreeing to this fight.

No idea, I thought that the negotiations might be done by now and if there is issues with the purse, Crawford said he is willing to take the B-side so don't know who's stalling or who is the delaying the big fight.

Well, I'm still hoping that they can reach an agreement and release a final announcement about its fight details somewhere before mid of August. Although, it's been quite a while now since they had a discussion and Crawford revealed that nothing was ever set and no details were written in stones as he said and that could mean something like Spence is trying to duck and stall some time for his benefit.

Also, maybe Crawford was in a kind of rush because he knew that time is not on his side that's why he releasing unnecessary statements to put pressure into Spence. Just maybe.
