^ For sure this will attract a lot of boxing fans around the world. Both coming from a great victory and display of their boxing skills. And we would say that this fight is on our "wish list" for sometime now. And this is going to be for the undisputed, and the winner becoming the true pound for pound champion as well (with Canelo's recent lost). So they really need to talk and sit down. As for the negotiations, Crawford has no promotional manager so he is free and no one is standing between him and PBC (Spence promotion). So if both is ready, maybe the end of the year is a good schedule.

Agree, 40% for Crawford is expected to be big as their fight is a much-anticipated fight long and many viewers will spend money on it. Much better maybe before that he will have a guaranteed $10M to receive if he fights Pacquiao, no set purse split.

On the other hand, Spence can surely gather lots of viewers and will help contribute to the PPV being sold out again, as usual.

I think that would be 1st quarter next year. My reason is, they don't want the fight to be held close to the date of the possible trilogy of GGG and Canelo although since the latter loses, there still a match planned involving these 2 greats around September like GGG against an still unknown boxer and Canelo vs Bivol possible rematch.

They maybe don't want people to spend money consecutively on 2 big fights to make the full possible revenue on PPV. Just my 2 cents.

If the fight between Spence and Crawford will happen anytime soon, I believe, they can make a lot of money here.
Maybe, it is their respective promoters that are still in negotiation about the purse split.
Sometimes, the reason of delay is not because of the boxers but their promoters themselves.
So even if the boxer declare he wants to fight this boxer, it won't happen unless his promoter said so.
Let's wait if their promoters can agree with the purse split and give their fighters a chance to prove themselves.

It is somehow inevitable for some boxers to maintain their records clean until the day of their retirement, and actually, only few of these best boxers will only achieve that kind of feat. Being a smart one and playing it safe will indeed help to maintain these certain records.

I haven't seen some news related to it yet but it doesn't mean it won't happen. Maybe there are ongoing works but information related to that maybe not just disclosing it to the public to avoid the spoil. That's usual and who knows we might be got surprised with the official announcement anytime.

Crawford receiving a 40% slice on the purse will be his biggest pay out on his whole career aside from the PPV revenue that he will also get, it's already a win-win situation for him so I think he won't insist much bigger share and yes, he needs to think twice before he gives an answer because that could be his greatest regret in his career. That $10 Million offer to fight Manny Pacquiao won't mean much if gets a fight with Spence.

The fact that Spence is focused on Crawford, that's a good sign where in fact, he's not even interested before and Crawford is the one aggressively requesting for their match. We just have to wait for any information as that might be on work already but the public is not just aware.
