Thanks for the update mate! I've read it and this is much better because we now have a news like this that their fight will become official soon and much better because we now know that there's indeed a high chance that this undisputed fight will happen this year.

I've read in the same article too that Spence's camp needed Crawford's camp to help him sell the fight because Spence cannot do it alone. Well, I personally think that both of them won't struggle about that and have some hard time selling this fight as the people and the boxing fans around the globe has been waiting for this to happen.

Spence should stop making excuses, he should focus on his fight with Crawford and make sure it will happen his year. There's no reason that they will move when one of them cannot be an undisputed champion, I hope they will not be greedy, it's time to give the fans what we are hoping to see.

Yes, Dan Rafael should be reliable enough. There must be truth behind Dan Rafael's tweet. So it is not Mayweather Jr. that will announce it first though? So it is November 12 or 19 in Las Vegas then. At least the venue is not in Spence's state of Texas and although this made Crawford inactive for a year, I hope he is pumped and ready to start his training camp.

And it also mentioned WBA regular champ Eimantas Stanionis in the undercard. Guys like Stanionis, Ortiz, Ennis, and Butaev will get their mandatory shots sooner than later. And IMO, these young guns are too risky for both Crawford and Spence. Unless Spence is happy and contented staying at welterweight forever.

According to the latest news 5 days ago. The fight has already a possible date between Nov 12 or 19. They are already finalizing the list of undercard to pre heat there fight of the century match up. The negotiations will probably end anytime this month because they will need enough time to properly advertise this fight for the success of ticket sales.

Maybe they are also on the process or discussion on how to maximize their profits and make the fight bigger than mega-fight as an undisputed fight is really rare to happen in the boxing industry, also, I happen to read somewhere that Spence's camp is asking for Crawford's camp to help Spence sell and market the fight as he couldn't carry all the load even if he is the king of PPV. Hopefully what Dan said could have some truth in it. It should be held somewhere in Las Vegas, that will be a good venue and if I'm not mistaken it was also the venue when a date of October surface earlier. I also think that Top Rank also has be blamed for why Crawford has not faced other big names in the welterweight division as for me they are babying him and not rushing him to fight the likes of Spence or Thurman but on the other hand, it might also have some advantages as hyping fighters will make more money in the end.

I don't know but I think it was my first year or second year of high school when boxing became my favorite sport. Probably influenced when I joined gangs during that time.

As for my observation thru the years. I don't think Bob Arum or Terrence Crawford himself are scared or staying away from the other popular welterweights. I read and saw a lot of videos wherein Bud and Arum were trying to fight the PBC boys namely; Spence, Thurman, Danny Garcia, and Porter. It should be Al Haymon of PBC that is not willing to risk his underdog fighters to Bud. Ever since the creation of PBC, I cannot remember them risking a big name to a favorite fighter from another network. The Fury-Wilder happened because Wilder was favored to win over fat and recently returning Fury. Porter already had 3 losses when PBC allowed him to fight Bud, probably as a measuring stick for their main guy Spence. But these are common in boxing though those promoters will look for fights against other promoters' superstars when their fighters are favorites to win.

They share the obligation but I'm curious since both fighters are top calibers and their names already have market value.

I don't see any needs of selling as in one formal announcement of this possible fight fans will be there to support, especially the gambling industry

We have seen the updates already, although not official, but it is a reliable and good source as where the negotiations is heading. It not Terrence Crawford that is trying to 'hard to get', in my opinion it is Spence, because he has 3 belts and he believed he is the A-side, between the two. And all have been speculating that the money split is 60-40 in favor of Spence, and Crawford is ok with that 40. But then again, we might never know that real split until the fight is made, and the numbers goes public.
