Of course, Bivol beat Canelo already in their first fight, and he clearly won the fight, so I don't think he will still accept to be underpaid in the rematch, that would be a big insult on his part. Canelo is a PPV attraction but let's respect the better fighter by not giving him a very low cut.

Yeah and that's how thing goes for underdog who won and their opponent wants a rematch. But we will have to see how this fight goes first. In seems that Canelo is overlooking GGG here, although he has all the reasons since he already beat him and he is getting older. Though GGG is a KO artist but Canelo wouldn't get KO'ed by GGG because Bivol is a KO artist too and has higher power than GGG, but Canelo already proving he can survive for 12 rounds against Bivol. Canelo is the best boxer which have head movement to take less punches, while GGG have an iron chin. If it goes toe to toe, the judges will see GGG is bad than Canelo since he took more damages.

If GGG will got KO'ed by Canelo, then it's end of his career and he might retire after this.

Hope what we expect between these two fighters will be the one that fans will see once they are already inside the ring. GGG is known as

a heavy and solid puncher and so with Canelo, the only thing here or the advantage is how these two will take those solid conversions

and how they can absorb to stay standing, I'm looking to see how both will prove that they are the real winner and how eager they

So do you guys think this fight goes the distance? Because I am still unconvinced that this old version of GGG will not survive a 12 round war with Canelo. Unless Canelo will box safely.

You guys mentioned GGG piling points over Canelo. I really agree to this. GGG although a KO artist is technical and is armed with a lethal jab. 

This is interesting. I figured out that these eastern Europeans (heavy handed or light handed) are technically sound. GGG, Beterbiev and Kovalev are heavy handed, but their aggression are very well calculated. They're not like Iron Mike or those Mexican heavy brawlers. They utilized their footwork and set up power punches with their jabs. Their skills and power helped prolong their boxing careers at high level despite their age.

- Bivol was 6-0-6 before fighting for the interim WBA belt. Maybe he's got good power but prefers to box technically. So his knockouts diminished over time as he felt not obliged to go for it and at the same time his opponents are becoming more difficult at championship level. He did mentioned in an interview that he loves to fight smart.
- Usyk was 9-0-9 before he fought for the WBO belt. Just as everybody thought that he is a KO artist. He is naturally a gifted technician. 
- GGG was 36 years old when he lost a controversial decision to Canelo.
- Kovalev was 36 when he lost to Canelo. At first, I really thought Kova was paid to lose as I can see a lot of moments where he should've unleashed his deadly hooks. He later revealed that he was not 100% during the fight. 2 months prior to the fight, Kova fought 11 tough grueling rounds against then undefeated KO artist Anthony Yarde. Kova said, he simply cannot refused Canelo's once in a lifetime multi-million offer. Normally after his fight with Yarde, Kovalev needs a month or 2 to heal his body and then another 2 to 3 months to train for Canelo. IMO, a prime Kovalev would easily jab Canelo to death.

I'd say the first match is more controversial rather than the second, I watched the replay and see GGG should won on the first match, but the judges make it as a draw. Imagine GGG was won the first fight and Canelo was won the second fight, the trilogy will be interesting. No offense to GGG, but Canelo will win.

According to GGG the second fight was more dominant for his victory but he was disappointed with the jury decision, so in the trilogy fight then GGG hoped for an absolute victory, but Canelo is now a strong opponent since the second fight finished and Canelo has dominated many matches with a proud victory, so the fight The trilogy is a fierce battle to determine which of the two is more deserving of the real victory.

I watched the first match live and I will tell you this - there was no chance that the match ended as a draw. GGG couldn't win the match only because of some horrendous scoring from Adalaide Byrd. This individual just stole the match from GGG. I will tell you this - I have watched dozens of boxing matches and this is the worst incident of scoring that I have ever seen. The second match are more like a draw and third party observers were split in their scoring. But once again, the jury sided with Canelo and awarded him the match. So many years have passed.. and I still feel bad when I look back. Hopefully this time, we will get a clear winner and the controversy will be put down once and for all.

The fight really has a lot of discussion, from the point of view of the bvoxeo that the best boxer seeks to have control and the other point of view (which for me damages everything) is when they go to the technical aspect and let the fighters enter the fight. judges, trusting the judgment of a judge in boxing is currently something that has to be considered, because even in the Olympics it was shamelessly seen how the judges made a boxer who was from home win and practically took out the best, damaging the future of the boxer and going over the preparation of years, this is a lack of respect, now, with these fights it is much easier for them to intervene to bias.

If Canelo is really careless then it's end of his career

This match is more like proving if Canelo loss against Bivol isn't a serious loss that his performance is drop rather than GGG proving he's more better than Canelo and can make an upset. Let's imagine Canelo is loss against Bivol and GGG, there's will be a lot speculation and I doubt he can still on top 10 top pound for pound. The only way GGG to win here is dominating the whole rounds like Bivol or knock out Canelo.

Dude, I am a big fan of Golovkin. That said, I am being realistic here. Golovkin got two chances against Canelo, and that too during his prime years. He couldn't KO Canelo back then. And now he is 40 years old, well past his prime. I don't think that he has any chance of knocking out Canelo under current circumstances. I am 100% sure that in case Golovkin wins, the match will go on for full 12 rounds. I watched the highlights of his match against Ryōta Murata. He was exceptional during that fight. But then, Canelo is of another class.

Most probably, GGG will retire if he will suffer a convincing defeat in this 3rd fight. But, look at GGG's power as well, he is not called as a great figher if he doesn't have the skills, let's compare it to Pacman, remember when he has multiple fight with Marquez and we never thought he would lose, but on their last fight, Marque caught him good with the right counter and that resulted to a KO Victory.

Canelo is on the upper class and he still on his prime but like what he mentioned if a lucky punch converts and a followup combination happened to miscarry by Canelo that solid punches can bring him down, there's no exemption on that, we are all speculating and the conclusion of this fight will happen inside the ring, after that we will conclude and we will know who's going to win between these two legendary fighters.

For sure David Benavidez will be considered in the future as a Canelo opponent, maybe after the Bivol rematch because there is not much option out there for Canelo when he beat GGG in September lol.

As early as now, Canelo is already talking of a rematch with Bivol but if the unification fight between Bivol and Beterbiev pushes through then that rematch will take some time to materialize as that fight is what people wanted to see.

There's a chance that they will share the same ring but that's too early to speculate for now Canelo have an upcoming fight with GGG this September. Though the fight has almost no hype at all but I'm just gonna watch not because this is interesting to see but because maybe this will be GGG's last fight, we can't know for sure but I won't pass on that chance on seeing him the last time.

An undisputed fight in light-heavyweight will surely be a good fight to watch as the names like Betebiev and Bivol is participating that said fight. That said, if that fight will purse the Canelo should wait some time again. Honestly, he should just forget about getting in LHW as it's frankly clear that he's nowhere near getting a win against Bivol and his not that heavy hitter in that weight class considering it's not his comfortable weight.
