I really liked Antalyaspor's performance against Trabzonspor. They really played like they are strong home team. I think from now on every team that visits Antalya to play a match will feel under pressure. Haji Wright is good finisher, Antalyaspor midfielders are all above average for Turkish league. Beşiktaş want to close the transfer season by signing contracts with 4 more names. These are defender Isak Hien, number 10 Dele Alli, midfielder Kerem Atakan Kesgin and wingman Siriki Dembele. If these names come, the squad will be expanded and many problems will be solved.

Fenerbahce are still in search of a new striker before the transfer window closes. However Valencia started the season incredibly well. By scoring two more goals against Adana Demirspor he's increased his goals to 6 in 3 matches. He scored two goals on each week so far and this makes me think if they really need to sign another striker now. Maybe Serdar Dursun couldn't score yet but he has contributed with assists.

However Fenerbahce will need to think about the Europa League also of course. As long as they are able to find a better alternative to Valencia then they should go for it to have a successful run in the Europa League also. Otherwise they can rely on Valencia mostly as he is in great shape.

Salih Uçan really embarrassed me because I made so many bad comments about him. He is increasing his performance day by day and at the same time he is increasing the performance of the team. Yeah I think this week was peak Beşiktaş performance. Beşiktaş played so well that Karagümrük midfield couldn't achieve anything. N'Koudou destroyed Karagümrük's right back at least for 30 minutes.
Weghorst I believe seems like fine striker. My favorite thing in match was Beşiktaş's neverending attacks and speedy passes. Looks like they are not kidding about chance of winning the league.

Nuri Sahin definitely helped Antalyaspor improve their vision of football. He played for very big teams like Dortmund, Real Madrid and Liverpool in his football career. But he mainly played in Germany of course. He is very familiar with the most preferred game plan of the biggest European teams as a result. Antalyaspor are very lucky to have him as a result. If they had a Turkish manager who didn't work for any European team before, their current playing style would be very boring as we are used to see it in many teams in the Super League already.

Maybe Antalyaspor don't have a squad that can fight for the title yet but they at least have the potential to reach there. The thing they only lack is money. Let's say a billionaire decided to buy them then they would really be unstoppable in this league.

Fenerbahce has had a great start to this season. Their gameplay is not as weak as in previous seasons. They have scored 13 goals in 3 matches, which is the highest ever. Their attack is going strong. However, their new coach Jorge Jesus is still experimenting with the team. He is changing player positions and squad formation almost every match. Perhaps he is trying to make the team more stable and strong.
If Fenerbahce is going to play their match strategy in a 4-3-3 formation, they need another experienced striker. But if they play in a 4-4-2 formation, their current squad seems more than adequate.

 No doubt there is an improvement in the performance of Fenerbahce's team this season, they have recorded two wins and a draw in their first three matches and they have scored a total of 13 goals and conceded only five goals this shows a sign of a good start and they could end up winning the league if they keep up with this performance. About their game against Adana Demirspor, I was expecting the game to end in a draw because Adana Demirspor has a very good defenders and their attackers are also good in front of goals but I was so shocked to see them concede two great goals that were scored by Valencia in the first 45minutes it shows a good start to the team and to the potential striker Valencia.


I also support the idea of Fenerbahce getting another strong striker to support Valencia despite his outstanding performance so far so that the team won't be in bad shape should an injury case occurs.

I think that the Trabzonspor - Galatasaray match can be full of surprises. Because I don't see a very clear favourite side of this match. Trabzonspor haven't been doing well lately. They lost to FC Copenhagen and Antalyaspor recently and they have the rematch in the Champions League today. If Trabzonspor don't manage to eliminate FC Copenhagen today I think they might not be well-prepared mentally for the Galatasaray match.

I'd like to remind you of their last league match here. Galatasaray could have really won if they were able to keep their 2-0 advantage. Now they don't have problems on finding many goal opportunities but there is some issue with finishing. But they might still be able to defeat Trabzonspor this time if they catch them off guard.

There is no consistency in Galatasaray's performance. They have won two matches this season though. But they scored only two goals in 3 matches. On the other hand, Trabzonspor is not as strong as the previous season. Their defense is weak. If Galatasaray's players can take advantage of this weak defense, Galatasaray has a chance to win.

There was at least 1 red card and 7 yellow cards issued by the referee which made this a spice for the match.
But indeed this victory brought them to the top for a while.
The draw in the first game actually I regret it but in the 2nd and third matches last week it was really very good for Fenerbache.

Fenerbahçe are close to signing Maxi Gomez these days. However I doubt if he is really the striker they need now. Because according to his statistics, he hasn't been performing impressively since the 19/20 season. He has started to score much less goals since then. But it is since the day he was transferred by Valencia at the same time. He was doing great before at Celta Vigo like scoring 18 goals in a season. So it is early to be sure of anything for now.
