I told you- next time, you'll learn to listen to me. We're halfway there; not the best round for me, but better than the last round, and it shows some kind of improvement, but it could have gone a lot better if I had stuck to my initial WC draft (score 85 points) before changing it to the current one.

The Lukaku curse continues - 3 disallowed goals in two matches reminds me of Timo Werner in his first season with us; got to the stage where we look at the linesman and ref reaction before celebrating his goal. More than 15 goals were disallowed that

I expect him back soon, he already played a friendly match against Padeborn. Not a real thing obviously but if he was up for that I am sure he is back for knockout stages at latest.

First they have to reach the knock out stage, that's not a given yet.
But yeah, today I have read he will most likely play against Poland after already getting used to play with the mask in 60 minutes on the field against Paderborn in the exhibition match ( Mbappe scored twice ).

If they take the "risk" of letting him play there I think it's 100% we will see him on Tuesday.

Officially throwing in the towel. My fault mostly, for not entering MD subs or transfers in time. Jota (captain) didn't even play. Lukaku once more denied by VAR. And the icing on the cake, KdB, who I couldn't sub in, scored.

I'm just going to transfer out on a wildcard now, keep most probably, use up my cards, but I can't see a way back in. Also, travelling tomorrow and only able to properly look on Tues/Wedn, so I'm probably going to suck it up and play for fun.

Why do you guys call the situation France is in desperate? They have 4 points and even if they lose they would probably pass through as one of the four 3rd placed teams that will qualify. But I don't expect them to have problems against Poland,

Don't use your wildcard in MD3. It was fine to use it in MD2, which you already missed; instead, keep it for MD5 and use your LL chip in MD3. We have unlimited transfers in R16, so using your wildcard now is pointless.... I realise I'm late and you've probably done the worst..

It was the limitless chip I used in the last round, and maybe I really would have been better off without it and just stick to the two free transfers, because my major play was Croatia and England backline, which both let me down.

There is almost no point using a chip for game 3, you get unlimited transfers after the round, and coupled with the fact that there could be some heavy rotation in some teams.

Yeah too late. Am already done with transfers. Thanks though, was on me to check properly but it is the worst possible time for me this year to be paying attention to comps haha.

Still not the worst thing given my position. In it now for the fun, amd who knows, I still make the most out of it.

Probably also will miss the window for Last 16 anyway. Depending on jetlag and connections.

France has to win that game, and since Mbappe can already play, Deschamps will not keep him on the bench. Poland cannot be underestimated even though they seem not a match for France.

Germany losing to Switzerland, and although they will still qualify for the next stage, I expected the Germans not to concede so I could get full points for Rudiger, but Ndoye for the Swiss has put one in for the Germans to now chase the game.

Big second 45 minutes for Germany if they want to finish on top of their group.

I have Robertson and Musiala - Robertson delivered a 7 pointer , Musiala was just a foot in the shaky water which ofcos I'm going to sub him off for KDB.

Lol this sounds funny reading it , Lukaku has to be the unluckiest man in this competition at the moment with all the disallowed goal's to his name, and looking at his finishing shows he has the quality of a top striker which should reward him sooner or later and unfortunately penalties too proving to be scarce were he would have bagged some free goals...but I see matchday 3 to be his game.. say a hattrick maybe

I think Spain has a great supply of midfielders and striker's were we should expect the rotation to happen, but in the backline I expect them to return same players to keep the clearsheet going and target the golden Glove award..so team should be solid in defence...Btw have Simon as my asset for this matchday, fingers crossed 8-15 pts for him.

I still have a good feeling about him, and that is why he is still on my team. He will come around so long as Belgium remains in the competition.

According to some stuff I have read, I expect a total rotation. Whole new starting 11 so without both Williams and Yamal. While I was aware of the rotation possibility during the deadline and anticipated it with the inclusion of Grimaldo and Oyarzabal, I foolishly included Simon in my team.

I have both Grimaldo and Oyarzabal on my team, and it appears that our spirit has been moving along very well this period; after all, we used to be on very different paths and had opposing viewpoints on a few issues. Well, I won't say anything more.... Grimaldo is my captain. While I expect Oyarzabal to score, Grimaldo's clean sheet and ball recovery points are a strong possibility. I've been having trouble earning good points from my captains, and I'm hoping to end that streak tonight.

Indeed, he and my Jota are going to be double hattrickers -- and maybe even pop up with assists here and there.

In the same fantasy universe (I might as well), Atreides and Harkonen are allies mining spice to fund Super League and an army of Guardiolas, manager players who no longer care, but win.
