Sounds fun to be honest, there is just 9 league game weeks left, it wouldn't be bad to add an extra bit of spice to it, especially for us at the rock bottom.

So you can surely count me in on this, you might want to tag the likes of buwaytress, cls63, icopress, igebotz and arallmuus to this I'm sure a couple of them would be interested too, I probably would have missed this If didn't decide to stop by in the thread.

Sounds like a weird and fun game, but it's more like donating 1mBTC to Trofo    because he's clearly winning, he has already given out tutorials on what to do and what to expect; the Mafia is already one step ahead of everyone. Thank you, but I'll stick to the second chance only; I'm still battling to build up my team, and the new challenge will simply make things worse.

Settling up after the international break is always a problem for me and Pep and other managers mind games isn't helping too. So many false injury News here and there.

I probably would have cared if there were some restricted budget and some other weird chips, but for unlimited budget, you just gotta know your ball and what tactics you wanna go with, I mean I could go 5-4-1 today and 3-4-3 tomorrow without limitations, that's some next level ball game and it wouldn't be as tactically and mind draining as the current 38 long ass week one is, I guess.

I probably would have cared if there were some restricted budget and some other weird chips, but for unlimited budget, you just gotta know your ball and what tactics you wanna go with, I mean I could go 5-4-1 today and 3-4-3 tomorrow without limitations, that's some next level ball game and it wouldn't be as tactically and mind draining as the current 38 long ass week one is, I guess.

Except for the 5 player limit from the same team, which is higher than the 3 player limit in the actual EPL competition, and the absence of chips, I see no difference with the main EPL. Same £100m budget, so I'm not sure where the unlimited budget story is coming from maybe I missed it somewhere...

I'll rather have a Luton defender as my captain for the game week than fall for that Son hype bull crap again, I'm still scarred by the Tottenham performance from the blank week, so, I think Imma good with them for captaincy against a desperate Luton side.

The difference is that you are picking team for just one week. This week I spent a lot of time on my main FPL squad and I picked challenge team in few minutes. You just look at single GW fixtures and choose people that you think will do well.

I was going to ask if we are doing this and taking a rain check, just to see that I've got a PM with the new league link from Trofo, and it's not literally not an unlimited budget, but it technically is because it's not £100m but rather £1 Billion and you can get yourself all the premium players in the game.

Yeah, I don't mind if it is just 3 of us, I'm quite sure this would be continued next by FPL so we might see some diversion in terms of pool preference, so I'll take this a learning opportunity, and the lesser the amount of people the higher my chances, so I'll take that too

Seems like this is only partially correct, you can use transfers up until deadline but you can't manually switch players that already played. Ah well, who knows. We will find out soon enough.

I’m team no chips left so I had to take -8 hit yet again, but I’m sure it’s better off looking at I’m trying to navigate the final weeks of the game, and Jarred Bowen seem to be paying an early dividends for me, I’m glad I didn’t get rid if him, but I was tempted to if not for De Bruyne’s uncertainty, I likely would have.

Solanke just made me look terrible today. Hope his on all y’all teams though. Played just over 36minutes or there about and on the pitch with a yellow card. A large zero (0) points for him and I had to gamble on E. Haaland to leave him on the bench just to accommodate Cole Palmer as I couldn’t successfully get Salah in.

Yeah, I’d agree too, but it’s all or nothing right now, and my decision have everything to do with the final chip that could make or mar any chance I could still have, that’s the bench boost so, I’m taking out potentially long term injured players out for those that should get playing in a double game week, it’s still all a huge gamble, but the players I’m taking out will still be missing for those games anyways, so there is not so much to lose with the minus + I probably would not have had up to the 11 point-scoring players for the game week without taking points hit.

I can't believe you chose the challenge over joining a real pool. Lol - I hit 50 points !!!  Chilling at 45k position. Just playing for fun.

I'm guessing Chelsea's £1 billion squad inspired the entire EPL challenge thing. Why £1bn?

And I guess your second chance league revolves around picking bad players? I mean what kind of point is that? Should I just stop playing PL on Superbru pool since I know I will never win it? It is fun to compete with the best and see just how far I can stretch in that particular season.

That being said FPL challenge will be much more luck oriented and easier for casual players to get results. Fact that you can pick another team every week is enough to remove all planning element from the game and nullify my biggest FPL advantage, planning forward and allowing for blank/doubles and fixture swings weeks before they happen.

Wasn't home so did not try tinkering with the squad but as I said later I think you can just change players that did not play. Meaning you have small advantage if you are picking players you are not sure that they are gonna start. For instance you know Liverpool will do well, you can wait for line ups and then exchange your Diaz pick to Jota pick if you see you missed who will be in first 11.

I mean everyone is playing it for fun and competiting against the best for the weekly prizes and for me that's enough for the remainder of the season, too early to put some money on it. Looks like it's going to drive more attention next season.

If someone creates a pool for it I might give a try depending on my experience this season.

Cryptofka on 60 points already and the highest in our mini league is 41. You missed big time.

Thanks god im out of the fight in this one, because if im fighting for prizes spots and Guardiola makes what he do right now, dont put in Alvarez in the starter eleven is gonna make me mad.

Oh yeah, that’s unavoidable and a plausible action in that regards. Don’t know how many injured players you had on your team but, the bench would have been able to suck them in for a couple more weeks to give you 2 transfer advantage. I sort of gambled that out this week and I don’t regret my actions now. Leaving E. Haaland on the bench and he couldn’t even get a goal or assist, yet I had to let Palmer stay in his place, playing 5 midfield and Palmer delivered 15points, no difference from Salah which I was hoping to bring in his stead but, they both equaled out in points. Would get Salah in eventually in the coming week but, at no cost of a point deduction for sure.

He played Saka but we see how ineffective he was. Arsenal should have won that game but they missed many chances. Gabriel Jesus dancing with the ball when he should be shooting cost Arsenal the chances they created, and then the poor decision made by Trossard when he had the chance.

Haaland marshaled again by Gabriel and Saliba cleaning up, Declan Rice keeping tabs on Kevin De Bruyne was also effective.

We did not win, but it is a good result that we were able to get a point from this game where almost everyone expected us to loose, because of the dominant statistics that City have over us.

Liverpool to me do not look like they will be able to keep winning till the end of the season, the title race is still open.

Yeah, Isak made magic of their encounter with West Ham United, there were lots of penalties too but, what the heck, he converted them both, wasn’t short on assist and still stole a yellow card, lol… he’s touch made the difference.
We were mainly focused on M. Salah and Son for the GW. Though they didn’t really disappoint, they didn’t exactly shined either. Both teams came from a loosing side to claim the win with just a goal differential.

Manchester City and Arsenal’s null goals wasn’t what I hoped for this game but, it proved a difficult encounter as it ought to be. Haaland continues to have poor records against Arsenal, 4 encounters and only 2 goals with an assist, why he just couldn’t get my captaincy or future on my team. He was just going to average out.
