This was very strange GW, nobody is happy but all of us did bad so nothing really lost. Except for those who were without Son. Still some fixtures left though and a lot could change.

This would probably be one of the worst bets I've ever taken. And I've taken some really, REALLY bad ones.
I know I'm not making Top 5 here, but I've got another league I'm playing - and that one is for food and merch. I'm 2nd there, which means I'm losing that one too if I join the second chance one with -32 points.

I will probably join, but with my current team and without half of the chips (considering that the next one is the one where Free hit needs to be used).

You know after I saw Palmer boost some points yesterday, it was a hard yo accept having him on the bench. Like, I look at my team and everyone is below average points except for Son and there is Palmer, right on the bench and his hit 13 points for a GW that is proving to be one of the worst.
Still, I couldn’t see anyone to have substituted for Palmer, given the fixture Chelsea had Newcastle, Chelsea’s performance this season and the runs of Newcastle, compared to other players I let be on the pitch and the fixture they had. Couldn’t take out Bowen, nor Saka, Foden and definitely not Son.
going forward, Watkins, Haaland or everyone’s failed Choice Solanke, nope, but Palmer did it, an assist and a goal.  This catch up game is such a long thing!

This season, he has already equalled Bellingham's goal contribution stats in a weaker squad and a more tough league for his age. Real Madrid's PR department is just exceptional. Get 15 goals and 10 assists, and you're already a candidate for the Ballon d'Or.

Can’t you just take a little glory without bringing these guys into some kind of headlocks. I mean, I might like Palmer and what his been doing for Chelsea but, I can never put him side by side to J. Bellingham. Bellingham is such a dependable player, more than I can say for Palmer. I wouldn’t go into this though but, it’s just got to be said.

So yeah, Palmer happens to be a good transfer and am sure looking to use my free chip this GW. I think not doing that would be an error and some means to be out completely in the competition.

I was absolutely unlucky about TC boost. If Solanke didn't miss the penalty at the beginning of the first match I'm sure that things would have been much more different. Semenyo move was risky but I wanted to transfer him because of his regularly making score contribution in the recent matches and this worked. After leaving a few bad weeks behind this yellow cap was great for me. I assume I rushed about joining the second chance league.

The only thing saving Bellingham this season are those goals, he's in-field play is not all that good, I've watched him many times this season. Score the winning goal, jump from average 6.5 rating to 8.0. rinse and repeat. Stats don't lie.

The biggest FPL second chance league starts after international break that's more time to wipe your team and set up your team for the new challenge.

Let you buy players without taking any hit for one GW and reset back to your default team afterwards.... Don't know how else to explain it

Don't think you're going to win the SC so easily, I have assembled an Avengers-level squad and am going to leave it at set&forget for the season. Unless the need arises to transfer of course.

Now this is going to be tricky for me because most of the time, my lineup consist of players from the top clubs and most of those clubs' games are being postponed so I will need to pick the other players to fill up the spot.

Anyway is there also a way for me to peek the lineup for this round from another player ? cant seems to find the way to peek on players from our pool but probably from random players from another pool?

You can't peak on anybody before the deadline. After the deadline passes games goes into update mode and after about 30 minutes you can see all the teams.

Just the way game works and very fair if you think about it.

I'm in a tight spot and have two options — either I use my WC and change my squad to fit GW29 or I just use whatever free transfers I have and get ready to drop below top 20. If I use my WC, it means I will have to spend the next 3-4 weeks fixing my team again to current state. It sucks that I already used my free hit chip before this blank GW 29 was announced.

Congrats, cls63. Another week that I get to fumble the bag. Anytime I come close to winning a GW, someone miraculously gets the right players that tips the scale.

Don't know when you used your free hit but blank GW29 was a given from the moment season started. We just did not know who will blank and how big it will be.

In the end it is a big blank, usually there are more surprises in cup so we get a game or two more.

I don’t have any of my chips left but I had this week in mind when I used wildcard few rounds ago. If I were to have my chips I’d rather Free Hit for this round since there is still possibility of another big blank after this cup fixtures, and wc would work towards a good bench boost for those double game week when finally gets announced although that’s still going to be a luck based outcome.
