Kevin De Bruyne not starting is a kind of a blow to me because he is my captain. I hope he comes on and scores a goal, or maybe just have a good performance, and let the game still end in favor of Brentford or another draw game.

Its 68th minutes and Pep hasnt put him on the field yet despite the score is still 0-0. Well this is probably the worst decision that I've made, TC Haaland and so far he hasnt score a single goal despite playing two times. I could have gotten so many points if I TC Solanke lol, he got 12 points just from a draw against Newcastle. This Brentford's goalkeeper has been putting decent number of saves so far, defenses line are pretty solid as well

I didn't understand why Pep didn't send Kevin De Bruyne in. I wish Manchester City lost points tonight. At least Haaland managed to collect 10 points and contributed to people who used TC a little.I don't know about which one of the players to use my TC on. I assume that I will keep it for Solanke on gw28.

2 games, 1 goal. It's not the kind of returns that FPL managers expected. Most people used their triple captain chip and Haaland underdelivered (again).  I would've been in a more better position if I had just get Salah on my team like I originally wanted and give him the captain as I have always done up until the moment he left for Afcon.

20 points (FINAL) for Haaland as captain to wrap up the GW. Very disappointing considering Salah came from  bench to get 22 in a single game.

One thing is clear now, No KDB, little to no party for Haaland.

So, 3 City assets in DGW (Foden, Alvarez, KDB) - total of 14 points in 2 home games.
Saka or Odegaard alone - 15 or 14 points.

3 Liverpool assets - 2 injured after the 1st game.

The only good thing in all this is that a lot of us made similar moves. Those with triple captain on Haaland will be furious as well.

One goal and 2 bonus points over 2 games isn't what was expected to be honest, but then again, a bird in hand is better than 3 in the forest they'd say, and those whoever still have the triple captain chip burden on themselves really can never guarantee that it would pay better dividends than Haaland have for this game week.

I did not understand too, it cost me some points, but later it was reported that KDB did not feel comfortable and was rested as a precaution. It will be a blow to Manchester City and Pep if he gets injured again just after returning from injury, it was the best decision from the coach.

As far as I know Nunez is not even with the team and he will not be part of the squad today. Jota + Nunez combo was a total miss and I regret those minus points spent on them. On the bright side they screwed everyone so it isn't that big deal.

I'm happy for not using the Triple Captain boost this week. However if I can't collect good amount of points from Robertson or Doughty tonight it won't change the fact that gw25 is a bad week for me. Guardiola's not letting KDB play yesterday worries me for the future. I hope that he doesn't have an injury problem and it is only for resting him. When it comes to injury Liverpool came to my mind. Do you think they can manage to stay in the championship race with this many injured players?

I was hoping that Nunez with start today since what he experienced on Saturday was not considered serious only to see him and Salah are not even among the Liverpool squad to face Luton town today.

Liverpool have the EFL final with Chelsea on Sunday. My guts  says that Klopp is keeping Nunez and Salah so they don't get serious complications or injury which might result in them missing out ob the final and Liverpool at a disadvantage.

2/3 of my Liverpool assets won't yield any returns.  Definitely not the DGW I envisioned a week ago.

Not sure with Nunez but pretty sure that Salah has no serious injury on himself, Klopp probably just want to keep him fit for the EFL final but even without him Liverpool should be able to win comfortably in a home game.

What then would you say of those that took points hit to bring in multiple Liverpool assets ? I have Jota, Nunez and Robertson, neither of them is on the pitch and all Robertson could make is the bench, despite having no significant influence over the weekend.

EDIT: Probably wouldn't have matter much, as Liverpool have even just conceded a goal, so out the window goals any potential clean sheet points

no Nunez, and Liverpool is already down by a goal against Luton
they don't want to make my FPL team miserable, they want to lower Everton chances to avoid relegation as well
although, miss here would decrease their chances to win title as well, so better overturn that lead before the half

Liverpool with the comeback once more against Luton town. I  doubt that Liverpool would put themselves and their title aspirations at a disadvantage by aiding Luton town to go above Everton? If that were to be the case, I'd say Liverpool is very petty to indulge in such.

Liverpool played today with plenty of big names missing out like Salah, Nunez and Jota. These are the people that have contributed immensely to Liverpool's performance(s) this season.

Anyway, that's a wrap for GW25. Looks like Brahim got the sleekest team and won the DGW.

Lol… he would have got his treat non the less and maybe, in successive times it’ll be put into consideration but, Brahim just wouldn’t let Trofo would he, lol… nice one guys, taking full advantage of the double game week and even having to put a triple captain up, that was bae.

Can’t say it’s been one of my best weeks having just 66points on my counts. Feels pretty normal to me and with it being the adverse point, it’s just bad.
I’ve always been Skelton Darwin and he did me once more. 5 points for a DG, I mean I took out Solanke for this guy and Solanke got 12 points for just a single game. It was a single game for Darwin no the less but, he was a bad, bad choice.

I wouldn't say it was a bad week for me either, although it didn't go as smoothly as expected but my -4 points hits wasn't quite justified because I brought in Robertson for Trent-Arnold Alexander was who out injured anyway, but Darwin Nunez for Carlton Morris was the failed move for me because Morris ended the game week with 10 (5 more than Darwin) points + the 4 points for the hit which meant I did lose a potential 9 points for the week for that move alone.

If only I did not take Darwin for Solanke... That move alone will cost me almost 20 points. In the end Walker and Van Dijk were my best DGW players and ones that propelled me up the ranks.
