Agreed. I took Sterling because they had a good run of games and now can't get rid of him because there's always something more important to tackle.
I think this is the round where he finally gets the boot - but I have to see what's wrong with Gordon before that - he was substituted at HT today.

Good decision to captain Watkins - hopefully it keeps me in the race. These extra 18 (hope he gets 3 bonus) points can be big.

Gordon left the stadium on crutches so it doesn't look good. Watkins got 3 bonus points so you are golden on that one.

It doesn't necessarily have to be the case. You can basically downgrade the defense and GK to threadbare and do something like:

Saka - Palmer - Salah - Hee Chan - KDB

Haaland - Alvarez

Most of the league's Top 10 managers have similar midfield options, so it won't help you if you're stuck at the bottom or middle of the league table. To leapfrog to the top, you need bigger differenctial; if you continue to play conservative at this time in the season, your points will be worth less. I let go of Saka and Salah for of something different than what everyone or the majority has.

It is time for me to be finally rid of Matty Cash, because I'm unable to Cash-ing on him, freaking coach playing Konza ahead of him every freak time, If Cash had started, I'm sure he'd have been involved in at least one or more goals, I can't even get a clean sheet from him despite his not conceding, so it beats the purpose already, I might just settle for a very cheaper defender afford "Cash" flows elsewhere in my team, 'cos it's doesn't even seem like a right time go in on Porro.

Not yet, he is still on International duty with Son for his country South Korea, they have qualified for the next round in that competition. Wolves must really miss him because he is one of those players who could have made a difference in Wolves's last game against Manchester United and their game today against Chelsea.

Chelsea will be on a quest to get back to winning after Liverpool sat and schooled them in the last game.

My Captain Is KDB, I am confident in his ability, he scored me a solid 14pts from last GW, and so far I do not see any reason why Pep will not use him.

Wait until Monday, I am sure Pep will find a way to surprise most of us. This season City line ups have been predictable due to injuries. Now that he has all the players at his disposal fun and disappointments will start for sure. I brought in Haaland for Alavarez and gave him captain. Fully expect Alvarez to outscore all other City assets this round

Good on Pep if he benches KDB, as I stupidly benched Watkins because I believed that all my outfield 8 would get returns.

That being said, I was told on Reddit that it is unlikely that KDB stays benched.

I just checked and the only confirmed teams with a Double GW for GW25 is Man City and Brentford. Liverpool and Chelsea do have a blank week after that though.

Will be tough to navigate GW25 and GW26 without losing a lot of important chips - but it does seem like a GW in which you go all in for points.

I think this is the perfect opportunity for the free hit chip. Other chips like TC and BB could come in handy as well. And yes, it's the GW I have been waiting. Looking to get the most out of the Double GW for sure.

In gambling when you're been dealt a card the first way to lose is by "Foden", I don't know how many of FPL users are going to drop points for that, but then the numbers on here don't look good either, I'm just glad to not have chose to Fod just yet, maybe in the nearest future but not today, I'm already putting the Foden differentials into other use, it came in very handy for me

Looks like some people kept him in their team regardless of his absence. Some managers can be like that just so they don't have spend more to acquire him when he gets back - reminds me of bagholders in crypto.

That's a wrap for my best FPL GW yet. Watkins captain plus Foden's hattrick will help me gain more places higher up in the table. I'd be looking to surpass this week's success with the upcoming double GW.

Of course that news did pop up on the FPL site, at least that’s where I noted it although, it didn’t reflect on the fixtures as we might have hoped.
Still, am not quite sure what I would be doing with the Liverpool team. It’s not what it’s used to be or should I say, we don’t have M. Salah back just yet or are we expecting him on the team before that?
I don’t want to get Darwin in on my team but, he seems like the best choice when looking at Liverpool as it is.

On the GW23, I wasn’t so pleased with my captaincy option in Haaland, he managed an assist but, having to start a game like this one after his time out with injury, I hoped to see that fighting spirit to get goals but, it was Phil all game. It wasn’t a bad week but, can’t say I didn’t hope for a 30+ point from this week’s captaincy.

Alvarez, KDB and Haaland all start and only Haaland gets subbed off almost at the end of the day. KDB with an assist, Haaland too, both for Phil Foden.

Haaland not yet looking as sharp as he was, but he will get there and back scoring again with a few more games. He had a good chance to beat Brentford's goalkeeper Flekken, but Flekken was having a very good game.

And to think this gameweek couldn't get any worse for me, Foden hauls right after I sell him for KDB. smh...

I'm not mad or anything, but I got a few more tricks up my sleeve for next week, so watch out

Yeah, it's gonna be tricky to pick 3 City assets going forward.
I'm actually considering going with KDB, Foden and Alvarez - it looks likely they will all be starting.

Foden is still selected by only 27% of players, so he might be a good differentiator. Haaland is at 63% already.

GW23 was my best week yet. Ranked 2nd overall for GW23 behind FC Ggondae and it's actually the first time I've been anywhere near the top 5 or top 10 in a particular GW. I have Watkins and Foden to thank. I also moved up a few places on the overall table which is really good for me.

Yes chips count towards GW score. You can use it as a tactic if you think you have no way to reach money positions to win at least some free bets.
