Very respectable 78 points, I think Isak was the one to get you over the line. Everyone has Palmer and Son but Isak is quite low owned in our pool.

Got thim this week, I kinda feel Newcastle's coming out of their bad patch and they have a nice run of games coming. I expected more people would have him, but if you have Haaland Isak is probably not a transfer you can make.
I actually expected that Salah would be awarded the assist for that Diaz goal - in FPL everything is an assist so I feel somebody stole a few more points from me.

Cryptofka on 60 points already and the highest in our mini league is 41. You missed big time. 

I would walk over that league if we had the same starting point
Thing is, I played most of my chips and in a short season it will be the difference.

Come on boys! Even though I had a chance to win a prize in the main league I joined the second chance league. Having different things to play is always nice. On top of that don't forget that there are names such as Igebotz,buwaytress who don't know how to play in this league. It shouldn't be very difficult to take their money.

My bad luck about Watkins injury, not sure who to replace him with so am going to keep him on anyway. Hate these hamstrings, you can't tell if it's short-term or not.

Yes, I also have him on the team, but I don’t have any particular problems with replacing him. Firstly, in the game with City, he would not have scored points in any case (it seems so to me), and secondly, I am already so far behind the leaders that there is no point in choosing the optimal team since I need to focus on individual rounds in an attempt to get a yellow cap. I have a wild card and apparently before the next round I will completely change the team.

@Trofo @Cryptofrka I’m not sure how the FPL challenge is supposed to work completely, I think it’s a unique challenge for each game week, because the current week is not unlimited budget but rather forward focus or something like I can’t remember, but Forward players are going to be have their points doubled (2X), and it’s as though the league is only valid for one game week, I’m not sure about this though, I just can’t see the league in the current week tab, perhaps it could be visible once the deadline has passed ?

It’s in for a penny, in for a pound for me, I’m down with whatever the final decision is, I just hope it’s not my worse fear of being an independent weekly where one needs to join the league again every week, that would be a strenuous especially in terms of keeping tabs and apparently creating a new league every week, I guess we’ll find out soon enough, and budget for the new challenge isn’t unlimited like the last one.

I don't think the general idea is that bad, it just seems like a hassle I can currently live without.

You're overconfident and couldn't give up 1mBTC for 4mBTC. I'm giving CLS63 the biggest challenge of his life down that pit hole. I'm struggling to fit Salah into my team; he's a possible TC this game week, but it may also be a trap.

Just the way game works. Should be there with all his points after the game finishes updating today. Check it after first game starts today and then let me know if there are some problems.

Frankly you are still the biggest favourite of this league because of still having TC. Stil if I do my best I think that I have a chance to win 4 mbtc. This week hasn't started well for me. I couldn't get a good return from the players in my squad until now. I hope my Salah captain choice would make me get one step forward.

TC could also go wrong - At this point in the season, nothing is certain. Son is the greatest captain fraud of all time, deliver for two GWs and dipping for 20. I knew not having Salah would harm me, so I activated my bench boast to cover any potential Salah haul, but I'm still hoping he blanks to keep me ahead.

It is going ok for me so far without any City assets but there will be that 1 round where they will bring 40 points to everyone but me. Shouldn't be against Villa though.

Good point. Just today I read about scenarios when a golden match would be possible in the Premier League and the main requirement is that Arsenal be in third place because now their statistics are better than those of Liverpool and City. Now all three teams will try to improve it as much as possible in case of an equal finish on points. I prepared for this and, taking a wild card, chose three players each from Liverpool and Arsenal (City has a difficult game).

then for Saka, he did not look very fit against City, Not sure he will have enough game time or even play at all against Luton. We have more difficult games upcoming.

You were bang on for Saka. I never thought I would see the day he is dropped from the Arsenal squad, usually he plays if he can stand on his feet. Means either he is seriously injured or Arteta finally figured out that he needs to give the guy a break here and there.

Even Arsenal conserves some attacking options looks like way too much for Luton.

I was never expecting Foden to make a hat-trick today. I can see that only spack17 has Foden at top. The sadder thing for me is that my opponent in the second chance league igebotz has Foden. Even though we are just at the beginning of the league he has gained a big advantage.

It was a quite bad gw for me generally.
