I was chasing differentials, but with players like Palmer, Haaland and Saka. The problem is that they often didn't do anything in the easiest fixtures possible, ending on 4 points.

I remember I had a crazy run of 4-5 weeks of captaining Haaland and all I kept getting was just 4 points week in week out, I don't he scored more than 12 points (6pts) more than once then, it was simply devastating because other were getting better returns from the likes of Salah, and Palmer then, it was since then I switched to Salah, come rain, come shine he's been delivering well, and I don't see any imminent change coming soon.

Everyone who had Salah on captain this season profited a lot and thats why there is a large gap in points between top players and middle players. I captained Haaland for a long time then i sold Palmer at his best and got him back later when he was bad and that costed me a lot this season. Now everyone is on Salah and i just cannot comeback to the top

Salah’s default captaincy this season has worked so well to keep everyone at some level points, even as concerning as it might be, there is little anyone could do about it as, you just might be sorry. The just concluded GW was quite an experience. We were just out there not knowing who to pick as, they all looked inreliable.

Fernandez was my undoing in the just concluded GW. Just when I thought I had seen it all, he gets an assist and 2 goals with match bonus to go with it. Too bad I didn’t have him at such a time when it mattered.

Ramadan fast isn't looking good on Salah, it's affecting his performance - Salah greatest strength is pace and without food In his stomach it's difficult to take on players with food in their stomach. 

Ramadam Yes, but let us not take away the fact that the defenders who marked him in the Champions League game against PSG (Mendes) and Newcastle (Livramento) had very good games as well. It was not like Salah had to run all the time, all through the games. The defenders did their jobs very well and shadowed him properly.

Without Salah, Liverpool will struggle to win games.

To be honest, I actually considered this as well. Liverpool looking terrible recently.
Still, everybody will have him, everybody will captain him, with mostly easy fixtures for LFC this is a dangerous road to take.

Could be a great choice, but going without a player that is 120 points ahead of the next one looks like the wrong kind of gamble.

Harvey Elliot will the one to temporarily fill in that position until they can fill in that position. I have heard Rodrygo is a target for Liverpool from Real Madrid to fill in that gap. Personally, I feel he will offer something different, never like Mohammed Salah.

Would be tough to replace the exact Salah role, but we don't need to. I do agree with you though - it's already automatic for most of our players to target Salah, would take some time to automatize new offensive patterns.

Harvey Elliott is good but he's from yet - getting Rodrygo from Real Madrid could be more expensive than extending Salah for at least 2 more years. Why gamble when they're already have a proven world class willing to stay.

Yes, and Amen to that! I think he'll get the call for most captained for a number of weeks more, and if continues to excel at it then no problem, for me, it's already tough enough trying to rank well in terms of transfers and other decision like who to play, the captain makes things rather more complicated, I'd rather lose along with everyone in the pool with the captaincy and get differentials with other decisions, than win over some with my captain choices while not getting points advantage else.

I thought Nkunku was the real deal when y'all signed him, as we could barely breathe with the level talks and dreams you all were having, reality is such a b*tch.. I can't count the consistency of Chelsea with failed transfers these days, and they are all here for the long term  Anyways, Jackson is said to be closer to returning to action, that should be another choice upfront in FPL

What injury to Gvardiol? He played 105 minutes for us yesterday so maybe he felt something then but it is probably just a fatigue. Didn't see the exact moment since I tuned out for few minutes just then.

One thing is sure currently, and that is he is going to be missing the FA Cup quarter-final against Brighton this weekend. Manchester United is their next opponent in the Premier League, and it is on the 1st of April, a few days after the quarterfinal clash. I think he is still going to miss that too. It was a hit to his hips, so they have to play it safe knowing his importance to their current campaign.

One issue with Argentine players is that they don't care where they end up as long as they're having fun and representing their country.  Alvarez is a first-team starter at A. Madrid and an important player; I'm not sure he'll give that up to start a fresh uncertain life at Liverpool, where Nunez and Jota are available.

A.Madrid has nothing to offer him in terms of titles, but he has completed football and simply wants to play every week.  Is that something that Liverpool can provide him?
