Played only 13 mins - that's only shit I hate about the clean sheet rules; if players substituted in 90 mins, he gets full point for appearance but Goalkeeper gets nothing unless he play more than 60mins.

Conference league this Thursday was the only reason he rested those players.

That is why it is called appearance. Every player on the field gets one point if he play even 1 minute. Every player on the pitch gets one more point if he plays 60+ minutes.

If they were giving clean sheet points for appearances all our defenses would be made of back up full backs. Most teams change them since they do a lot of running and you would get better chances of clean sheets for going for cheaper substitute players.

I really do hope he blanks today, or possibly miss a pen as such. They were a lot of rumors on X that he would be out, and an account he said that Isak didn't travel with the team. Basically every has him, the problem is that I didn't captain him, as a matter only 2 people from the top 10 in the pool captained him and both of them are 8th and 9th, so I'd say it does make sense for them if he does get some return. And if he does blank, those who were expecting possible Rogers autosub points would be livid.

Literally when you feel the most confident about your bench points, that's literally the major reason why everyone who used their wildcard recently have two starting GKs. Gabriel ruined my chances of having 4 probably decent scoring bench players, as I had it mapped out for DGW 33 when Arsenal are supposed to double and right you can't have more than 12 players, it would have been possible if Nottingham and Brentford's match got moved to GW33 as well.

Bench boost imo is actually not worth the hassle that comes with it, but I'll be using mine soon enough I'm sure.

Salah is out of gas and not putting it any more efforts- sure he was already hoping to get some contract offer from Liverpool nothing yet. What's happening... Maybe Todd Boehly can get him back home for free.

That is why you use WC close to BB to fill your bench with good players. Than after BB week passes you gradually remove the money from the bench to first 11 via transfers.

But with no AFCON until June, what is his justification this year?  This could be his last AFCON, and I believe Liverpool has already won the league, so he has nothing to play for and his trying not to get injured.  He is no longer putting much needed efforts in games; if Halaand returns, Salah is gone..

To be honest, I didn’t watch the game against Leicester but my plan since Saka returned was to go for Saka in GW 33 over Isak GW32, Arsenal are to play Ipswich and Crystal Palace which does look like a better fixture compared to Palace and Man United for Isak, but now that idea has gone down the drain with Saka injury yesterday, so much for keeping him for Real Madrid. My only positive take from this is that I have not wasted my transfer on Saka yet, it would have been a nightmare.

OK. That actually did it for me, using WC and then BB. So I pulled the trigger, there's only a few GWs left and I've made big mistakes in the past with delaying chips.

(That said, I rushed the AM chip and wasted it badly, so you know, haha.)

So with reckless abandon, I'm using my WC this week already, I still don't really know if I again made a rush because all I want is Saka back in my team, so I tried to fill my bench up also with DGW players. But guess what I forgot? Can't use 2 chips in the same week haha!

Still, good thing about WC is I can keep shifting players in and out right? Is it a good strat to do a wholesale change? I only have Salah, Isak, and Gvardiol left over. My beloved Semenyo, Mbeumo, out to make way for Saka (still bloody expensive). Palmer should stay on but his cost is too much, so I hope DGW players make up for him. And then try to optimise for a BB the following GW.

Worst way possible but easiest? Filter cost, and choose teams, and fill them up with the most points gained so far. It actually doesn't look so bad, the setup I have now but it looks nothing like an actual team I'd put together on my own.

Yeah, I saw Arteta's update about him saying it's nothing but just a kick, but Arteta is probably just a liar when it comes to stuffs like this. My plan regardless was to stay this week without Saka initially too because of Real Madrid 2nd leg tie, but my concern still remains solid Saka despite being a 90 minutes guy before his injury, I'm not sure if he'd still play 90 minutes over those 2 games, even though the champions league would be done by then. It is a very crucial decision I need to make, as it would determine how both my bench boost and triple captain would be played.

Palmer got sub at HT; could it a tactical sub or a knock. Saw him limping at some point in the game and he literally played shit too, now I don't know if he got sub for being shit or to avoid getting hamstring.

Saka is flagged, don't think it anything serious but could get rested this weekend for CL game.

I don't think it could be anything tactical for Palmer to get subbed off at halftime when he was literally rested for this match over the weekend, they were alternatives to Palmer if there was a need for a tactical change imo, could be a precaution for all we know, either way he's still on my team and would still be for this week, he was supposed to be my switch to Saka, with how both of them are faring both in terms of minutes and/or performance, having both of them right now is more of a burden than any possible differential opportunity.
