Saka is flagged, don't think it anything serious but could get rested this weekend for CL game.

The chances of Saka playing in the Premier League this weekend are very slim considering that Ethan did not get any minutes in the Champions League game, so I imagine Arteta would want him to start in the Premier League so that Saka can be rested and fresh for the return leg in Spain.

It is unfortunate I did not consider this before WC. My Aston Villa selections face a similar situation; they may not start the game and may not even play.

I'm not starting any Arsenal asset this weekend except Raya- they were never going to keep a clean sheet anyway. I'm bullish on Newcastle United and Crystal Palace double.

Aston Villa assets would play more than 60mins - They're still pushing to qualify for next season CL football and this week game is important to them too.

Merino looks like a solid option

Aston Villa is a tricky one - Rashford is taking some of Watkins' minutes and there are a lot of options between the lines to replace Rogers. Their best fantasy assets are hard to predict.

He's most likely to play full game against Crystal Palace because they've got a long ass weekend break after that game. My concern is basically how minute he'd get against Brentford, if he doesn't start and doesn't play full game against Real Madrid then I'd expect him to start against Ipswich... My triple captain is kind off hanging in the air right now, it's a tough for me trying to choose this or that;

I like Saka (GW33) over Isak (GW32) for the triple captain chip, but it's not solely about triple captain chip my bench looks way better this week and tougher next week.

Isak for triple captain this week feels like a no brainer, but every no brainer decisions since the return of the international break have turned out badly

Against Ipswich, Nwaneri can do that job, especially if we make it past Real Madrid. Arteta will want to manage his minutes because it seems it will be PSG next, and Saka is essential to that success.

With some teams with European duty calling, I really expect them not to go all out and most likely play a reserved game, so expect an upset here or there as the teams try to be economical with how or who gets to play.

Arsenal asset's, well with superstar Rice 🌾 taking centre stage, I don't see him getting goals this weekend as the Premier league is a whole different ball game .

Newcastle playing some great football should destroy United, but Utd is a moody team that can wake up today and flip the script...let's wait and see how the games go.

Yeah, I saw Arteta's update about him saying it's nothing but just a kick, but Arteta is probably just a liar when it comes to stuffs like this. My plan regardless was to stay this week without Saka initially too because of Real Madrid 2nd leg tie, but my concern still remains solid Saka despite being a 90 minutes guy before his injury, I'm not sure if he'd still play 90 minutes over those 2 games, even though the champions league would be done by then. It is a very crucial decision I need to make, as it would determine how both my bench boost and triple captain would be played.

I don't need Saka to play 90 minutes. Just enough to score, assist, get a clean sheet bonus, get bonus points, and I'm golden haha. It does seem too much to ask but hoping this is the outcome. Because using a WC to get a maybe-injured player in favour of another elite midfielder (Palmer) who is bound to break his duck... is really not wise. Then again, I'm 6th and need to gamble to make up for lost ground, so all my chips are (literally) in over these next three GWs!

Saka haven’t been an asset that I attach much value t lately, don’t have him and still contemplating on him for a possible transfer options but, I’m looking to take chances with Merino, his being impressive so far, scoring important goals and producing good performances. Something I hope he keeps up through the rest of the season.
Don’t want to rush into that though but, we’ve got far too little GWs to take a chance now.
I didn’t get the GW I hoped for in GW31, I really need to make amends but, the blank GW ahead makes it a little tricky on who to buy.

I wouldn't bet on any player from either Arsenal or Aston Villa starting this week. My prediction is that Villa changes 9 or 10 players and only Martinez is secure while at Arsenal Raya should be secure, probably Kiwior, Merino but he will play mid not striker...

Only certain outfield players I would want for this week are Nwaneri and Asensio but their minutes will be poor in the double. Though decisions all the way.

I've gone back and forth all week long between playing my triple captain or my bench boost this GW but as it stands, I guess I've laid my bed, and I'd have to live with the consequences. A lot of us chasing have a many players in common, so, all that somewhat matters is those tiny little changes that can make some difference, I'm not sure that's what I've got for this GW, however, whatever happens I'm sure I'm not going to be alone, Lol!

OK, this bench boost seems more and more like a really dumb move.
I have a GK that isn't playing, and Timber who didn't start.

I still have 2 good Bournemouth assets there, so a 3-0 win with a brace from Semenyo makes it a good move, but other than that another chip down the drain.

Also quite unhappy with Marmoush's contribution - OK, he did score a goal, but that was the only thing he did and City scored 5 goals.

I am more unhappy with Pep. He left Savinho and Doku on the bench once again even though Foden wasn't in the squad. I want 3rd City player for the double there isn't anyone except Guardiol and Marmoush that looks even remotely secured for minutes.

Savinho seems to be the only third option or someone close to getting more minutes between Foden and Doku but I wouldn't risk it- would rather have Rodgers.

There isn't a single premium I really want at this point so all those -4 transfers to build team value seem stupid now. usually few extra M at the season end come very handy but this season players like Kluivert/Rodgers/Murphy sort of ruined it.

Verbruggen is my 2nd keeper and played Leicester and Colwil is up against Ipswich, Rogers against Southampton, too bad he didn’t take any of the 2 pens Asensio missed, actually surprised he started and played for that much minutes. Somehow, Leicester scored their first 2 goals in over 700 minutes of football, Kiwior cleansheet didn’t work too, but in total I’ve got 10 points from 3 bench players.

I’m not sure I regret the decision just yet, since I might have used my triple captain If I didn’t, there is some room for regrets, I guess. An Isak blank would be soul soothing for me right now.

I would say I expected so much from this GW and it’s going the other way but then, maybe it could have been worse.
