There are no more CL games for Villa, so I expect Watkins to play more minutes in the remaining fixtures.  I wanted to change my team to accommodate both Rodgers and Watkins, but it is not financially possible for my team. I'm staying with Watkins to play a key role in what appear to be crucial games towards CL qualifying for next season.

Watkins haven’t played 52 minutes combined over the last 3 games, not starting in both legs against PSG you’d have at least fancied him to get the nod against Southampton last week but he didn’t as well, so I don’t know what match could be more for him to play ahead, is it the FA Cup, or is the league ? because Aston Villa would still play 3 times over the 7 days, I’m sure he’ll get his minutes but I’m not convinced he’ll get enough to be worth it.

Everyone except me! Was completely out of chips desired chip (FH and WC) and BB wouldn’t help either with nothing useful on the bench. Aston Villa destroying Newcastle, leading 4:1 and they still managed to hit posts 3 times. Watkins with a very good showing maybe proving to us that we needed to make that Isak-Watkins trade.

I didn’t hope for the performance I’ve got so far, Wissa and Mbuemo surely did made the GW beautiful for me, even with Bournemouth getting to keep a clean sheet, Kerkez on my backline was that helpful. Manchester City did fall out of line a little with a clean sheet, won their game but, not the players we would have expected on the scoresheet.

Aston Villa has been the one team to have delivered the DGW expectation. Watkins and Rogers not missing out on the activities. I’m really surprised at how well they played and have beaten Newcastle United with J. Murphy and Isak not having an impact. Schar seems to be scoring more than he could keep the goals out.

I’m speculating on Saka to be the one to do the most in this DGW.

We all fucked up the Watkins move. I said to Trofo 5 times that it had to be done - Watkins has better fixtures than Isak after GW34, and for GW34 I'll be using FH so would still have Isak vs Ipswich even if I sold him.

I wasn't sure whether he'd be starting - and that's the main reason most didn't make the switch.
For me it was mostly because it would have cost me -4 to make it, and I felt it would be really close. He's already 10 points ahead of Isak, with 1 more game to play.

I have only active AM chip now and Arteta did the job already got 12 points from him and still he has one more game. Ended the first part of this round with 80 points and i am pretty satisfied. The only current problem for me is the next round because i will have some blank players and will need to use i think -12 points for free transfers. But still if i can get out of this round 50 more points will be happy. Saka not playing over 60 mins was good for me because i seen some players got him on captain. Still the chase for 7th spot is on for me,was 23rd now currently 9th and if some players do some big things for me can catch up

An assist and more point than Saka, Isak and Salah, I will take that and hopefully he gets the false 9 position against Crystal Palace.

Saka captaincy always ends this way, I've never liked having him as captain but there was nothing and and no one to trust. He's everyone captain btw- just gotta look at other differentials.

You're not only limited to premiums for your captaincy. And quite frankly, they've all been underwhelming for the past few weeks. Except for Haaland but he's been injured for ages.

Free hit activated, my squad and captain selection almost looks like suicide, but this is not a normal gameweek:

- Salah has been terrible recently
- Isak has also been blanking
- Leicester cannot score a goal away from home to save their lives, hence the triple up on Wolves.
- Southampton are also poor, in fact so much that the two of them have been downgraded to FDR 1.
-  Virgil and Schar are on points streaks, and most likely TAA will be too
- MUN are not *that* bad, even though they've been downgraded to FDR 2 (lol), but I have too many Newcastle players currently to get Pope. I'm not sure if I want to temporarily bin Jacob Murphy just yet. There is still 6.0m left in the bank, so I can replace him with whoever I want.
- I'm not even going to comment on Cole Palmer.

Like the general idea behind your draft but couple of positions are simply not for me, like Chelsea GK. If you want Chelsea GK take both of them, they rotate sometimes and that way you guarantee you have starting one trough auto sub.

TAA is a bit risky for me. If he is going away to Real I would force Bradley for the future. Title is all but secured. If I was Slot he would play last home game to say goodbye to the supporters and that is it.

Content creators are called that name for a reason, they usually don't follow the game half as much as we do, then why would any give their takes huge relevance. I have activated my freehit, and the only thing I for certain is that I won't play more than 3 at the back, I might actually go for a 3-5-2 depending on whether I want to ride with Wissa or not. I'll be avoiding a couple of bandwagons especially between teams with nothing to play for.

Im happy that he isnt playing,most of the players have him on captain and this is important for me. Probobly if Arsenal concedes at least one goal will secure yellow cap for this week aswell. I think Saka will play 20-30 mins if needed,but result is already 1-0 for Arsenal

Saka have just been really unfortunate with kind of tackles he’s been receiving, it’s like he was only lucky to have avoided a serious injury from the Ipswich game, that’s why he was substituted early on, he would have played around 70-90 minutes in that game. Arteta said he was feeling some pain was why he was substituted, and they’ll see if they need to play him today (I guess we all know the answer to that already).

My double Arsenal defense partially paid off again with Kiwior’s goal, but I really didn’t think I’d not hit a 100 points for this round especially having 9 players with double fixtures, pathetic round!
