It was a bad round for me because again i select the wrong starters, i mena again i left like 15 points in my bench which it coulb be very helpfull in this round with very low ammount of points collected by everyone, with that 15 points diference it can turn a bad/average round into a good one, with even some positions climbed. But i keep failing on the selection of the starters, this time i left Dalot at bench (it was a risk) and Vertrugen collect a clean sheet which was not on my books.

I really don't know what to do Wirtz to be frank, it's going to be hard to take points hit to take him out especially if this was just a minor know that could have him play over this weekend, but I doubt he's going to be a 90 minutes guy for the next 2-3 matches even if he does make the recovery.

I just tossed Chalobah out as well, nigga just hitting up my budget and Chelsea players cap without providing any value, I think could be getting axed pretty soon too, now that Palmer is getting back to best gradually, but I wait out the next couple of fixture.

On Semenyo vs Cherki, Guradiola played us all I suppose, I mean Semenyo wasn't even supposed to be the direct threat Cherki's playing minutes, but you're always in the dark with Guardiola and everything becomes a guessing game.

For me, every round is a big surprise. I made substitutions and transfers, put some players into the starting lineup and moved others to the bench. But I can’t say I feel confident or fully prepared, because you plan for one thing and something completely different happens. I would really like to get back into at least the top 15, but for several weeks in a row now, the players on my team who score the most points keep not being counted toward my total for various reasons.

I am not happy with my team as well but I still feel that the choices I made were the right ones.

I feel the gap to some people will be reduced by a lot in the last quarter of the season - I'm well equipped to navigate the toughest part and it was always the plan.
I'm patiently collecting red arrows in order to have a wide array of choices when it matters most and if my targeted players perform well then it will be worth it.

Can't attack Top 3 probably but as long as I have icopress in my sights and Trofo behind me I'm happy with how it's going.

What exactly happened to Halaand? The late minute drop was horrible for me, especially since Rogers is the VC and the team in front of me had Ekitike as the VC. I haven't been paying attention to my VC chip this season; if I had, I wouldn't have VC Rogers.

The worst thing is I actually finished just outside the prize spots last season, probably my best lifetime finish in FPL -- so I had illusions about me actually getting better at figuring things out. I couldn't have been more wrong.

Looking back this season, I pinpoint one mistake I didn't do last season: bringing in Liverpool assets. Salah aside, I stopped trying to be nostalgic last season and trusted in cheap buys facing teams with bad form. This season I took Wirtz in early, and then proceeded to renew faith in Alisson and VVD because of the defensive points -- only to bring them in when we started playing like shit.

Semenyo, VVD, and Thiago combined got 21 points. There is also DCL 2 points being subbed on to replace Wirtz.

These are not exactly template players except for Semenyo.

Thiago is the most template pick of those you mentioned and there was also Ekitike haul and City clean sheet. Most teams got some points there. Whole City defense plus whole Liverpool attack got returns (except Salah).

I have 4 returns out of 5, for 36 points so far (Ekitike the big haul. Guehi, Thiago and Tavernier; with Hill pulling a 2 pointer).

I felt compelled to post after reading your post because I was also advising members to prepare for the deadline and then found myself busy with other matters. Unfortunately, I did not change my team, quite simply I forgot. Sometimes forgetting to change a team can still accumulate points but it seems to be another week of mediocre points for me.

I have Bruno, also didn't really think about it. For me it was between 4 players for the captaincy - Haaland, Bruno, Etktike and Thiago.

Don't beat yourself; VC is still the most useless chip - how many times do we get to see situations like this one although it's okay to always play around with them.

The bastard got lucky again thanks to Halaand's injury  he got Bruno as VC and Bruno decided to do the most today ( a goal and assist) and you too, you got saved by Halaand.

It’s doesn’t work always like that the luck doesn’t always comes, I think most of the reason why we all usually miss those deadlines is actually because of this Friday evening games or suite early kick off, I wanted to make changes to my team on a Saturday morning just to see that week started earlier.

Seriously got saved by Halaand absence and Bruno master class. Probably gotten more higher points this season when I miss deadline.

I had Fernandes and Sesko in my team but because I missed the deadline, I was unable to make a few changes. As you missed them in the past, you know how I feel.

Keeping that aside, I wanted to replace my Chelsea players because they were playing away at Arsenal. I also had Rogers in my team but he has become a liability too. I found this week frustrating (yet again). There is always next week or next time, hopefully the points will be better
