It is an interesting strategy but not without risk as Arsenal will have a tough match at Nottingham Forest. Manchester City on the other hand have a home match against Ipswich Town and that could mean Haaland scoring more than one.

Dropping Manchester United players is understandable but I would not have added Doku as he seems to be used as an impact substitute more than a regular in the starting eleven. I am also surprised that you are starting with Solanke. When you look at the Tottenham team, you should ask yourself where the creativity will come from in order to make goal scoring opportunities for Solanke.

Given Manzambi’s price, there’s also the option of Groß, who costs 5.8 million compared to Manzambi’s 5.9 million

Personally, I like Manzambi more, he's occupying a more advance role and should be more involved in goals than Gross, but you just can't ignore what Brighton are doing this season, I think the Gross bubble would eventually burst, while that doesn't mean he's not great pick, still, his numbers so far should never have happened.

Yes, I wouldn't have Barcola on my team if the intention is to have him on the bench, I'd pick him over Solanke for this week, and I'm more surprised with the Tonali selection, seems like a waste of 5.3m to me, surely one of the terrible fantasy players imo, I'd rather have a 4.5 mid and invest that extra 0.8m into another spot like just to Muharemovic or Van Hecke who about the only player from Tottenham that I'd consider atm.

Just that I think overall, this kind of team won't be very sustainable especially now that you're using your wildcard, you'll have no easy route to playing two premium Mids if the fixtures swings to when you want them.

I assume they will both be assisted by Verbruggen, who will also save 2 penalties. De Cuyper will be red carded because I finally put him in the team.

Who exactly are you throwing Gross under the bus for ? I'll take my chances against tired legs Crystal Palace without a good squad depth but I won't be going double Brighton DEF for sure. Kinsky has a nice fixture against Coventry at home.

Other than that, Fernandes has not exactly had a great start to the season and the same can be stated for Manchester United. Palmer will almost certainly accumulate some points but the timing of making the switch is crucial as you do not want Manchester United to have an easy game and Chelsea to face a tough opponent.

It seems as though Conte has told the Manchester United owners he is ready to take over if they sacked Carrick. That might be a little premature but if the players want Carrick to stay at least until the end of the season, they will have to go out on the pitch and win their next match to ease the pressure.

I don’t think there will be any free midweek for the foreseeable future, if it’s not UCL it’s going to be one league cup or the other, but at least for those you could expect to see some players get rested. Haaland is in good shape, I don’t think there is any chance reduced playing minutes maybe if he scores a first half hattrick who know, and both of the match against Ipswich and AEK in the champions league are home games which takes aways travel stress as well. I’m not sure of a better window, form and fixture all lining up together like this one in the first half of this season again.

I was thinking on bringing Cherki in but after his half time sub in CL and this quote, I think I will skip. After the game City had against PSG I doubt Enzo Maresca would go into this game aggressively when there's another tough fixture at the corner after their one. If you're holding more than Halaand, I'd say GL to you

I used my Free Hit chip for this week.

I had to make an average defensive selection after I completed what I thought would be an effective team with the midfielders and strikers. I decided to retain both of my Manchester City players and added Haaland to make it three. I also retained De Cuyper to start the match (and Rogers on the bench).

I thought about going with three Arsenal players but was uncomfortable as they will be playing against Nottingham Forest at home, even if Arsenal win it will not be an easy match. Also, if Gibbs-White is struggling for form this might be the match where he returns to his best. Instead of adding Arsenal players, I retained Rice (as this might be the match that he begins influencing the midfield more) and opted for three Manchester City players and three Brighton players. Both teams will be playing at home today and have a chance to win their respective games without conceding goals.

I would like to have used this particular team for the Bench Boost but as it transpired as a result of using the Free Hit chip, it was not possible. I will revert to my original team after the games for this week are over, then I will probably use my Wildcard as or Bench Boost as I continue trying to accumulate points.

I hope last week is going to be the only missed deadline for this season

This is a perfect triple captain week on Haaland and I doubt only you is using this opportunity. I used my WC this week, so I could not benefit from this obvious opportunity.

Let's see how City will line up - they have the potential for big points but nobody knows what the lineup will be.

Result: Not only did he start the game, but he's already scored a goal and has 9 points 

About my triple Chelsea they only scored 6 points combined, 2 points each, which was really disappointing

It is easy to be smart after the line ups but you guys can't really be surprised about Cherki and Gvardiol benching? I mean Foden was suspended last 3 games and that is why Cherki had such good minutes. While Gvardiol was already benched a week ago.

It is always the same with City, plenty of great players but all are rotation prone. You know what you are getting into, I just can't be bothered since I hate that feeling when you are waiting for line ups to see if your asset starts.

Its crazy i had Semenyo and even he was on the bench,i dont know what the coach is doing but this is crazy to switch everything out and they barely won in the end. The only good thing is that i had Haaland on captain and that he gaved me the points that i needed,everyone else just is too bad especially Chelsea players.
