Currently team having by Graham Potter with Brighton Albion I don't sure he can success with Chelsea without any experienced yet with big top team and not get trophy in his career. What have been worry is coming true right now with Chelsea can't win in last five matches and have beaten last three matches in a row at Primer League. I think Chelsea management have give huge pressure for Graham Potter if want long term existing at Chelsea actually Champion League trophy become realistic chance.

Its looks domestic league bit difficult reach to top standing after remaining many points with Arsenal, but Chelsea still have opportunity to win Champion League and learned more what the best achievement from current Chelsea manager Tuchel success in the first season with Chelsea become the winner in Champion League.

I don't think current players can compete with Man City, Munich or other big clubs. In 1/16 they will play Dortmund. I don't underestimate Chelsea, but Dortmund can always surprise. If Chelsea can give Graham sometime I think their will be good result.  Chelsea has never believed to give a coach chance to see if their will be a good result. Chelsea is too quick to sack their coaches when their performance is poor.

You need to blame the owner for that. Chelsea would give a chance anytime but the problem is sometime the owner of club wanna try to intervening the decision that made by the management and so the decision can't leave from opinion by the owner.
Tuchel leaves caused by todd wants it and that's why the management can't do that to prevent him to leave from the club as todd was forcing the management to sacked him. Potter itself has become an over rated coach for chelsea.
He came from the medium tier club without any achievements so far. that's why i still prefer tuchel over him in this case. The problem is owner was too harsh to control the team based on what he was thinking about.

It is understandable that we wouldn't see them succeed on their first year with him, and he didn't even controlled the transfer window neither, he wasn't here, and he was put in charge a lot later which is a proof that Chelsea is not ready to play his style just yet.
However, if given enough time I believe that he could turn the team around and be a lot better, will be a bit difficult to handle but he can totally do that if given the chance. They will have a bit of bad results until they settle, but if given the chance for another year next season, he will do a lot better if you ask me, with all this money it is hard not to be a lot better.

The question is, how much time did Graham Potter need to get Chelsea to the title? This is a problem of course, because if it takes too long Chelsea management and fans will get fed up with having to wait long, especially if Graham Potter can't quickly build Chelsea. Like it or not, he had to build Chelsea from scratch, because the squad he had was inherited from their previous coach, Thomas Tuchel.
I hope that if Graham Potter is given longer chances in charge of Chelsea he won't let down those who put the faith in him. Because there are still many coaches who in my opinion are better than him now who are more trustworthy.

Chelsea is similar such as Manchester United that their management can provide huge money to the coaches but they seems have no patience to the process and wants the trophies and it proven that from the last 10 years Chelsea has been changed manager 7 times so Potters also has in the hot seat that if he can not able bringing Chelsea to gets the trophies in the near future i think not impossible to the management to sacked him and for Premier League Chelsea might be have no chances considering Manchester City and Arsenal are too consistent and almost be impossible to chasing them but in champion league although it's hard but Chelsea still have opportunities to gets the trophy and first step is Chelsea should be able to beat Dortmund and qualified to quarterfinal along with Potters

I think the most significant problem, in this case, is that Graham Potter is not very experienced in coaching bigger clubs like Chelsea, and as a result, he is suffering a lot.

In addition, as @darewaller said, he was brought in after the transfer window closed, so he couldn't get players to his liking. This is because we all know that coaches like to play the players they like most.

Chelsea should have brought in someone experienced, like Zinedine Zidane. Zidane is extremely talented at managing very large clubs, as we watched him win the champion's league quite a few times with Real Madrid. I think that is what Chelsea should have done.

I think what Potter needs is some time. Maybe at the end of the season, we will be able to judge whether he is good enough for Chelsea or not.

I don't underestimate Chelsea. But I don't imagine Chelsea winning the Champions League title. Chelsea's performance is now completely unstable. They are not playing well. Even if Potter manages to stabilize the team, I still don't think Chelsea will win against the big teams like Madrid, Manchester City, and PSG. But maybe Chelsea can win against Dortmund in the round of 16. The performance of the Dortmund team is also not stable.

@KTChampions to be fair the new coach of Chelsea deserves time at least one proper full season before we start to judge his work, and currently I feel that both team’s are equal but if I had to pick one team out of these two for proceeding to the next round then I would pick Dortmund because Jude Bellingham is playing for them.

when a team manages to sign other players, it causes a lot to change in the team and even if they are not very famous players, you always see some change, whether good or bad. for example in chelsea's case if they manage to sign some good attacking players then this will improve chelsea's attack a lot and if the injured players can improve then also the team will already be fine, for example kante is an excellent chelsea player who he is injured, but when he gets better and if chelsea also managed to bring kane from tottenanham then they would already have a very strong team. about cristiano ronaldo, he'll probably go to saudi arabia, i've read that he's actually going to saudi arabia to play, so far i feel kind of sad and i really hope he can change his mind, but that would only happen if some team wanted him, the Portuguese newspapers say he hasn't said yes yet and that he will make a decision after portugal's world cup games

Currently Halland Perfect for Manchester City and Manchester City Perfect for Halland. At the moment, if Halland goes to another club, I think he will not have the same opportunities as Manchester City, because the players that Manchester City currently have, except for him, are playing football in a great understanding with Holland. On the other hand, should Kylian Mbappe really leave PSC, if he joins the Real Madrid team, it will be a big gain for him.

Yes, even though Chelsea have changed ownership but unfortunately, it seems that Chelsea still haven't gotten a difference with the attitude of the owner who was too quick to make the decision to fire the coach. Indeed, during the Roman Abramovich era at least Roman Abramovich was still able to give the coach time to restore the team's performance, but in the end Roman Abramovich was also able to quickly fire the coach.

Don't undermine the power of transfer. It bring new challenges, new spirits, new strengths and new expectations. It must not be Haaland type of transfers but any good player with the determination to make some difference will do many wonders.

I think it is clear that we are not going to end up with too many big things, we are going to end up with a bit of a problem if Chelsea faces a big name club. The only possible way for them to go on is if they face easier opponents until a point, but even that will not be that easy to handle, most likely outcome will be them going back home.

Winning UCL multiple times in short span of time is not something many clubs can do, usually clubs don't win UCL that easily, so they won it just 2 years ago, and they do not have to win it again this year, sure they will want to, but they can fail and that's fine. I don't think Ronaldo is the answer to Chelsea's needs. even if Ronaldo will play for Chelsea, I'm not sure he will be able to boost the performance of the Blues. the only move Potter had to take was to improve the mentality of his troops and re-strategize before all Leagues were rolled out again.

Let's see, Ronaldo with his Portugal. the only goal he could create was from the penalty spot. he has entered 37 years of age, his productivity and sharpness have decreased even though his stamina is still fairly prime.

To bring Chelsea to the next round is not easy, at least Potter has to learn a lot from what Tuchel did while still coaching Chelsea.  it doesn't matter if he learns from his former Chelsea coach, and works on his weaknesses. at least, the champions league schedule still has a time lag before being rolled out again.

Ronaldo is very likely to be played in the Champions League because the club that Ronaldo defended before did not qualify for the Champions League. Who can guarantee this with the young striker options own or even being target by Chelsea? We need to look again at the contribution that Chelsea needs at this time. I was not aware about this law of UEFA because if they have anything like this surely it's going to help Cristiano Ronaldo and Chelsea for having better result in this season and with this option most chances in January window we will be having him into Chelsea without any doubt because right now Graham Potter is looking for the player like him who give them good performance and quality so with the arrival of Ronaldo into Chelsea they can do better things.

The CL competition is of course currently being overshadowed by the World Cup that is currently being played. When the new year starts, the focus of teams will go back to the CL. There are a number of teams that are evenly matched, but the draw of the next round is quite decisive. And then get the draw again. The final will be played in Paris, so if PSG make it to the final it will have a huge advantage as it will be a home game. Then you first have to beat Bayern Munich, not that easy either. But Mbappe is in top form.

Chelsea already done good job in last summer window but sadly due to change of coach things not going into their way, so now they are struggling in Premier League badly and have average performance into Champions League with Graham Potter is surely now looking for some improvement which needs few players which can work with in his strategy hopefully now in this coming winter transfer window they will be able to have few players which help them for increasing their performance and quality for the better results which is not easy because we have few teams those are doing amazing job and now allowing opponents to have positive results, but this window is surely vital for many clubs for both type results like negative or positive no one can predict, but surely things could be entertaining for the soccer community.

Every new coach surely needs sometime for having better results and surely this is also for Graham Potter but sadly his situation is not good because he is currently down in Premier League and have no enough chances into Champions League which are not good but if he can manage then surely losing in this season is surely not going to hurt them with they can do improved performance in coming season but for this all management needs to have few favors as well because without their favor new coach can't do any positive development.
