Chelsea can find it difficult when it comes to facing teams from Germany, I saw the head to head of these two teams where in the last 5 meetings these two teams have collected the same results, namely winning 2x, losing 2x and 1x drawing. One of the teams that has a very strong line-up for several seasons does not make it easy for them to win 1 Champions League title. Teams that have star players indeed make expectations even higher, but all of that does not guarantee achievement for the team. Lol, Chelsea and Dortmund this season is a bad season for them, if we refer to their performance in their respective leagues then of course they are experiencing a very severe decline in performance.

Chelsea still has enough room for improvement so far until the next meeting with Borrussia Dortmund.
Dortmund are good attacking side's and same goes to the Blue's Chelsea who can still defend very well with Thiago Silva at the base of the defense doing calculative defending for the club. Not a Chelsea fan but I feel they have the capabilities of winning over German side Borrussia Dortmund.

We'll possibly see, Ben Chiwell and Recce James back from injuries, so if they both are used as fullbacks to join the midfielder's and attackers will make sense as they will give and launch some disturbing attack's to Dortmund with a Three man defense of Thiago Silva, Koullibaly and Co brought into the club by Thomas Tuchel. Still don't know how the attack should be but let's see, Jorginho and Kovacic in midfied and then Mason mount,  with Aubameyang and Borja leading the attack, they need goals in that game.

I don't think so. Look at the how worst the match history from chelsea compared with dortmund. 5 games 2 draws and 3 loses. That proves if chelsea was in the worst form right now. I think that when you consider the performance from player in the world cup still not comparable with once they played for their team. dortmund and chelsea have almost the same matches history. A bit difficult to predict which one from both that will be winning.

My opinions about Dortmund and Chelsea are like:

Dortmund just don't care about winning even the Bundesliga title. As a result they aren't a very assertive team in the Champions League as well. Maybe you will say that Dortmund have played a finale in the Champions League against Bayern Munich before. But it was so many years ago. Now Dortmund are just a team that focus on scouting young talents, bringing them here and developing them later on. Most probably these players are bought by another big team and Dortmund continue to make a lot of money like this. But they just don't put winning championships to the first place in their target list.

About Chelsea, I can say that they are normally a very dangerous team in the Champions League. Dortmund are very well-balanced opponents for Chelsea this season and as it is all about staying in the Champions League both will try to play better and will try to make more serious attacks in order to score more goals. I think when the second match starts, it will be a very fierce match and also more enjoyable to watch. But for the time being everyone will have to watch the players in the league return to their respective countries to play in the world cup before returning to their respective leagues in teams.
