For now it has started to seem to me like PSG are getting more favourite in their matchup against Bayern Munich. The recent injury news are making me think like this. Because Neuer is out for the rest of the season and Bayern Munich might not be comfortable in defense if they don't fill his place with a reliable goalkeeper.

In addition to that Mane is also injured and it is possible not to see him in the first leg. Because he might not be ready until mid February at least. Ronaldo is definitely not giving up on football, quite a lot of people expected that by now he would have officially retired from international football, but he is yet to officially release any statement to that effect, meaning that Ronaldo could actually play for Portugal again, maybe in the 2024 Euro tournament, and the good news for him is that coach Santos has been fired and there are rumors that Mourinho is about to take over, thus Mou might be interested in reuniting with Ronaldo for a few years in the international stage.

I admire Cristiano Ronaldo a lot however I do not think that it would be wise to bring a soon-to-be 38 year old forward to any major club in Europe. Everyone who has watched him play from his younger years would definitely agree that his quality  of play is about 10% of what it used to be. We saw it during their World Cup games that he  can't run, he can hardly dribble past anyone. Either he goes to Saudi-Arabia or consider accepting a substantial pay cut and to be a benchwarmer that plays 20 - 30 minutes in some games just as like we saw in the Switzerland and Portugese match.

The absence of Mane and Manuel Neuer will not make Bayern Munich weak, they still have players who are experienced enough to replace Mane and Manuel Neuer. Don't worry about that. There was more than 1 months remaining for bayern to get a replacement for both. Bayern has been talked with slakovic to be a new goal keeper for bayern and it seems like slakovic would be interested with bayern's offer.

Is it possible that it was a form of indirect approach so that Ronaldo was recruited again by Real Madrid, or was it purely just to practice without having high hopes of being able to enter the Real Madrid main squad. I think we may forget about old Real which plan was just to collect as many starts as they were able to buy. We all know it did not end well.
