He can't move and choose the team he likes so freely, because it definitely involves the team itself, and what if the team he chooses refuses? Chelsea should be underrated completely in the Champions League.  They have no track record, just that once they won the CL against Guardiola doesn't mean they are not experts in the Champions League. I think he can, Ronaldo hasn't played for another champion league side at the start of the season so that won't be a problem. I have seen clubs make use of their January signing to play games in the champions league and that's what signing Ronaldo's will be like. If Ronaldo's knew he can't play then he won't be looking for a champion league team. Reporters of Chelsea striker Broja having possibility to miss the whole season is circulating and this means Chelsea needs a striker to back Aubameyang up.

Having to circulate between Ronaldo and Aubameyang would be awesome as both are experience strikers that can get us goals when we need them. Chelsea needs to be serious in his round of 16 stages, we shouldn't start this the same way we started the season or we'll be knockout very early. Dortmund attack are scoring lots of goals in their game meaning our defense needs to be fully fits to be able to stop Dortmund.

There are no players who are tired due to the effects of the World Cup for matches in the Champions League, because the Champions League matches will just start again in the middle of the 2nd month of next year. There are at least two months after the World Cup to get to the Champions League matches, unless you consider the continuation in the local leagues then of course they get very little down time especially regarding the Premier League.
So, in this case I don't think there is a team with players who are tired because of the effects of the World Cup even though it's the Premier League.

Because basically every team has players who don't only come from France and Argentina, because they still have other players who of course can play too.
Also, the clubs now of course have a good recovery method and also they are used to a hectic schedule. So I think there's no problem about their fitness if they have proper recovery method.
