PSG vs Bayern Munich is the most interesting matchup in this round in my opinion. These days both teams are really unpredictable. We have seen quite many point losses for each side. Bayern Munich have been struggling with finishing problems in the recent times. Otherwise they don't have much problem on having many goal attempts. They need to find a solution to this immediately.

On the other hand PSG have struggled against some teams in the Ligue 1 in away matches. Lens and Rennes countered them really well. PSG even lost two points against Reims in Parc des Princes. In that match Galtier tried a different formation which didn't help them at all while their trio were on the field as well. PSG still seem a little more promising because of having a great trio in the attacking line though.

Unfortunately, the two teams are currently not in a convincing situation. both PSG and Bayern, both are having some problems. plus, several key players from both teams were both injured. Recently, it was reported that Mbappe would be absent after getting injured against Montpellier. according to rumors, Mbappe will be out for the next three weeks. that means, Mbappe is doubtful that he will be able to appear with PSG against Bayern Munich later. and if these rumors are true, automatically PSG's front line will lose its sharpness a little. It's a shame, because this match is an important match for PSG.

Meanwhile, Nagelsmann's squad still hasn't returned to showing its true form. the absence of several players who were injured caused Bayern's performance to decline slightly. with the situation that happened to these two teams, it looks like the match in the first leg will not be so interesting.

Kylian Mbappe is doubtful to appear with PSG against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the UCL playoffs. Mbappe suffered an injury during his match yesterday against Montplier, after being fouled so hard by Leo Leroy in that match. This is very detrimental for PSG considering that their opponent in the UCL will be Bayern Munich, who are currently in good condition in the domestic league. And reportedly Mbappe's injury is about 3 weeks and he will miss several other important matches including against Bayern Munich on the 14th of February.

A heavy blow for PSG as this guy is making the difference. To be honest, I don't remember what were the previous quotes for the teams to advance to the next round, but it seems to me that they were worse for Bayern than now: 1.72. It turns out that now Bavaria is a clear favorite in this pair.

I don't think there is going to be any bad luck for them in this game because in Champions League their performance is completely as they wanted, and they beat Napoli in away game which is also good for them with this recently Real Madrid is also having not good performance in La Liga because they have eight points gape from leaders Barcelona and having goalless draw at home against Real Sociedad mean their attack is also not performing as they needed.

Even advantage is with Real Madrid, but this is not going to be easy game for the both teams and any team can go through into last eight but if Liverpool lost here and then their chances for the top four in English Premier League are also not good mean things could be more than worst for the Liverpool, and we can expect good changes in coming season for the improvement.

We have too much similarity in both team's performance after break with too many injuries and performance level is also not as they were doing before break even in last nigh game both done good performance in away matches but still they need more improvement for the better results in Champions League but here I have feeling in this all situation PSG is still better than Bayern Munich because in last three Bundesliga games they have just three points with their attack is not sharp as it needs to be on target which is surely problem for them and Nagelsmann having the biggest concern about this as well.

Real and Liverpool have a very big and tough past history. They faced each other twice in the UCL with pretty much similar team for LFC, but both similar, also not so similar team for Real at the same time. We are going to see Real beat them again because Real is not that bad, whereas Liverpool is nowhere near the level they used to be. Don't know what happened to them in a few months, but from being UCL finalists to this season, they became incredibly bad.

Chelsea still have inconsistent performance actually after FIFA World Cup 2022 and have won two matches from last 7 matches in all competition, seems drastically poor performance in domestic league and eliminated from FA Cup after beating by Manchester City 4-0. Ac milan and totenham very inconsistent teams at this moment. AC Milan got three loses in a row even one of these loses was coming when ac milan was against sassuolo. I would prefer to take totenham in this case. totenham has a good head to head against ac milan too. We are very close to the continuation of UCL. So much anticipated trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar Da Sliva and Kylian Mbappe will finally be missed in the first game against Bayern Munich. My disturbance with Paris is that they are not as good as we think I'm the middle, so Messi will be doing that all the chances creation. He will be missed for those in runs especially against Bayern Munich next two weeks.
Bayern Munich should make sure every single chance had must be executed properly. It's a bad news for Paris anyway as they also missed out on Ziyech switching to Paris

If yesterday Ziyech managed to move to PSG, it seems that Mbappe's injury problem will have a solution. At least for the last 16 phase there are PSG-Bayern and Liverpool-Madrid pairs which are something worth watching.
