I think that was also a great comeback from Real Madrid. But it’s Real Madrid! That’s what they do. Despite being down by two goals just in the first half, they didn’t relent and went ahead to win the game comfortably. There’s the  distinction between the domestic league and the champions league.
Liverpool’s flame was quickly extinguished. Personally, I don’t see Liverpool winning the game in the second leg of the game. Liverpool could hold Real Madrid to a draw. And I don’t think a lot of goals would be scored like in the first leg.

Liverpool made good use of the space for Nunez's first goal, and they also capitalized on Thibaut Courtois mistake when Salah scored the second. But after that, Vinicius appeared spectacular and restored the team's enthusiasm and confidence before the first half ended. Uniquely, Vinicius and Salah both took advantage of the opponent's goalkeeper's mistakes to score goals.

Second half disastrous for Liverpool, 3 extra goals at Anfield have ravaged them so quickly without giving them much chance in the second leg. A score of 2-5 is astonishing, it's bad to hope to come back in the second leg. However, Liverpool still have a chance for something good in the second leg. No one should underestimate them.

I gotta sayy the game was like an emotional rollercoaster, man. Courtois and Nunez slipped up, which was a great start, and then Sallah scored, givin us some breathin room. But let me tell ya, Vinicius was a pain in the but, and Real Madrid's team performance was legit impressive. The second half was straight-up trash, tho, with three goals conceded in quick succession. The outlook for the second leg aint lookin tooo hot, especially given Liverpool's currant form. I mean, mathmaticaly speakin, a comeback's still possible, but let's be real, it's a long shot. That being said, ya can never underestimate Liverpool's ability to pull off a miracle. But with their current struggles and lack of form, it's tuff to imagine them makin a comeback of that scale. Oh, and did ya catch how the mistakes from both keepers were due to the new style of playin from the bak? Yeah, that's the kind of stuff we'll probably see more of in the future. Crazy times we're livin' in, my dude.

Seems boring match this time about two matches result awhile on first time because only Manchester City scored one goal, difference with last night where have excited match between Liverpool vs Real Madrid have four goals in first half with score 2-2. FC Porto and RB Leipzig looks try with playing defensive and make attacking when have opportunity, lest waiting with second half for both matches will any goals added although I am not excited for watching on second half.

You are right very boring match,the match was making me to sleep while I was watching it because it is not as interesting as yesterday's match. Man city is taking dominance of the game and has more advantage of winning the match. At the first half Leipzig was playing defensive game but after Man city score, Leipzig had to come out to play the game. It's second half and I think Man city need to score more goals or else Leipzig might equalise the game. Real Madrid had a big win last night, I can certainly give them the title of Champions league giants with these performance and other outstanding performances in the recent years, though Liverpool started well but were very poor defensively to concede 5 goals and throwing away a 2 goal lead. I’m disappointed at Liverpool’s performance, they had a good game in the English premier league, I thought they would bring that energy to the champions league. Now it is even more difficult to win after the second leg with aggregate.

This is the main difference between league and champions league games. Real Madrid's performance in the Champions League cannot be compared to that of La Liga games; they are far superior in the Champions League. I expected them to play masterful football like an experienced team, and they delivered. Liverpool had chances in this first leg but let them slip away; I don't see them moving ahead the round of 16 easily again. But this is the Champions League, so anything can happen at any time.

Every English team is having it very hard the knockout round of the UEFA champions league. All three of Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham all lost their matches and Liverpool lost theirs in a very embarrassing fashion.

Manchester city is currently salvaging the day for English team as they are up by one goal in their match and hopefully they can come out with a victory.

With what Manchester City has shown so far, I don't see Leipzig tying the game; even if they do, Manchester City will score more goals to win today. Manchester City is playing masterful football, just as they do in the Premier League. I'm putting all of my hopes in Manchester City, and I'm confident they won't disappoint. They will certainly win the match regardless of how it progresses.

I couldn’t agree more, when it comes to the UEFA champions league tournament Real Madrid are stone cold. They seem to have mastered the art of competing in this tournament and they have the right mentality playing in the Champions league, if not tell me how do you comeback from two goals down to finish the game with 3 goals lead. I’m a EPL fan, I wish more English teams would be able to compete more in the UCL, right now there is only Manchester City representing the league.

I hope Man City will also increase their aggressiveness and return to building a pretty good attack like in the first half. Porto now playing with ten men as Otavio has been sent off after picking up the second yellow card. Inter Milan's attacking threat increased with Lukaku coming off the bench for Dzeko, and now with the advantage of having an extra man on the field, the game is within the reach of them winning it, while Porto will be on their toes with the time left to play hoping that this game can end in draw at least after just conceding now.

Porto had a very good chance to score but the keeper for Inter Milan Onana was the difference, his reaction was very good and was able to make two consecutive saves to keep the ball out.

Lukaku scores finally for Inter Milan after Martinez could not connect with the ball he played in earlier on for him. An important goal for Inter Milan to give them the advantage.

Game is now 1-0 in favour of Milan.

Just like stated in the premier league prediction thread earlier,  this match may be very difficult. Manchester City is to win and with the present goals score and the play time or is quite evident that this match may end in a draw with 1:1 goals.

-Manchester city failed to defend the goal even though there we were the first to score the first goal in the match, but since Leipzig make the equalization goal, there have locked their defence there by making it impossible for Manchester city to make any further attempts.

Lukaku has been really effective in the last minutes of the game. He has had three big opportunities in the meantime and finally one of them ended up with a goal. I assume Inter would finish the game by this 1-0 score against a Porto playing with 10 players. The red card was a big problem for Porto otherwise they really seemed like they could get a draw here.

It is important for Lukaku to be the savior in this important game. This can help him find more chances in the starting eleven.

The match between RB Leipzig and Manchester City is over now and it ended with a draw with one goal each. In the first half Manchester City was the totally dominating team and it was totally deserved that they were 1-0 up after the first 45 minutes back then a 2-0 for ManCity seemed way more likely then a 1-1 by Leipzig. It seems though as if the coach of Leipzig has found the right words during the half time break because in the second half RB Leipzig really was the better team and they a few good chances to score. So overall i would say the 1-1 is an absolutely fair result for this game.
So Leipzig still has realistic chances to advance into the next round but ManCity still remains the big favorite for that of course.

After watching the first half i was thinking that Man City was gonna destroy them but in second half Leipzig put some presure and was able to score a goal. I had Over 2.5 goals but this is just insane what stuff happened. So many missed chances in this match that its impossible that we didnt see one more goal at least.

Manchester City stutter just yet again and as things look, I would be surprised if Leipzig went ahead to eliminate them from this round.

A very well composed Multi should be destroyed at the hands of Manchester City. They didn't do well in this second half.
What's funnier is when their game doesn't improve but Pep still maintains his starting composition and doesn't make any improvements there. I think even though the second leg will be at the Etihad later, this draw clearly makes them actually not well.

Did you checked Leipzig domestic league, they only had a differences of 1 win from Bayern Munich, these guys are good in every way in their home leagues, I expected more from Manchester City but we shouldn't overate them the way some fans do premier League, Leipzig is a wonderful team that know how to calculate opportunity into a goal and that is exactly what happened in their match today against Manchester city while playing home. The defense was weak from the beginning but they Improvised and in addition of their attacks, they were able to had a goal and switched back to defensive game that help them the entire match despite the attacks from Manchester City.

Real Madrid is indeed able to show extraordinary mentality. Ancelotti's team is one of the teams that often wins comebacks after previously falling behind in the Champions League match. So with a victory with a fairly landslide score, it is very likely that Madird has locked a ticket to the quarter-finals. Then for Liverpool, their era can be said to be over.

The surprising thing about the Real Madrid team is, how they manage to stay calm even in the face of impending danger, it amazes me! Ancelotti too shows little reactions to this. His always as calm as ever and have great believe in his team. From 2 goals down to another stronge side like Liverpool, to scoring 5 goals without any response from Liverpool and beating them in a 2:5 goals Real Madrid win. Its something only Real Madrid can do and not just for a time but, over and over again.
Klopp is sure to have learnt a thing or two from yesterday's disappointment. This tells how his team has deteriorated!

That is confidence, even trailing by two goals behind Real Madrid remained confident and determined that the game was far from the end. The players believed they could turn things around and they did, I must say I was surprised the way the goals were coming. Going into the second leg Real Madrid will be more difficult to beat because the already have a high qualification margin and probability in place.

I don't get why Pep doesn't substitute players at all. I understand he trusts his starting eleven but it was obious things were going bad, if he brought Foden or Alvarez they might've changed the game. I guess he's okay with 1-1 draw. It's still a very advantageous score for Manchester City. Some people underestimated RB Leipzig but they have a pretty good team and a great manager.
