I think they are still in the race for both the champions league and the league. I don't think the 8 point gap is too big to close. Barcelona may have been eliminated from Europe, but they may be demoralized and have a chance to lose points in a row. We need to think about every possibility. I think Real Madrid will go down with the full squad in the second leg because ancelotti always focuses well on every game they play. even though on one hand they have excelled in the first leg, the second leg will be a differentiator when the opponent will be more aggressive in attacking. 90% real madrid have already qualified for the next round. There is no miracle for liverpool when playing at home to real madrid.

Yes, Ancelotti is a coach who is quite experienced. Of course, he would never make a hasty decision. Player rotation is possible and has been used by coaches when they know and believe it is the best option when facing weaker opponents. Ancelotti can do that in La Liga, but I don't think he will rotate in the Champions League so it's always possible to see their main players start from the first half.

It depends on which team they will be playing against, if that team is stronger then playing a main player is the best to get full points. As it is to come, I don't think Real Madrid will be rotating their players against Atletico Madrid in La Liga.

PSG are in a really bad situation now. They lost the first leg home and Bayern Munich have a big advantage in Allianz Arena already. Maybe it was only a 1-0 loss for PSG but their job will still be difficult. Bayern Munich are a really disciplined team and they wouldn't be eliminated that easy from now on. It is very important for PSG to have all of the players in the trio in the attacking line. Even if one of them isn't able to play this will make extra difficulties for PSG.

They should have least brought in a replacement for Modric because he is having he's last stay with the club. Toni Kross also has decided to end his career with Real Madrid so they should sort for replacement for all this players who are ageing.
