I would have said so if only Liverpool didnt win 7-0 against Manchester United. Yeah it was home advantage for Liverpool when they played against United but honestly none would have expected them to win so based on that I kinda expecting Liverpool to give some element of surprise on their next game against Real Madrid

Im not getting my hopes up for Liverpool to qualify for the next round but it will be great if they win though

I don't know what will happen in the game with Real Madrid, but today Liverpool have already made a surprise by once again breaking the expectations of their fans and destroying a lot of multi-bets  I don't know how you can still seriously expect something from this team. They can succeed in a single match, but obviously they can't do anything at any serious distance.

This reminds me of the match between Real and Chelsea last season, I believe you all remember that match in Madrid.
Real also, like now against Liverpool, won by a big margin away from home and everyone was convinced that the second game in Madrid would be a formality.
However, in the second game in Madrid, Chelsea played fantastically and led 3:0, and then Modric saved Real with a great assist and in the end, and Real somehow managed to turn the game around.
Liverpool is not a team to be underestimated and nothing is over yet, although Real are of course the favorites.

My issue with Liverpool is that they are sometimes out of the conversation; they might perform well today and then play poorly the following day. They came back with a good clean sheet as they did with Manchester United after the 7 to nil match they played, only to lose to Bournemouth and Salah missing a penalty, this is a small team they could have used to bring more confidence in the team, but after that, I don't expect them to reach the quarter finals in this league.

None knows what's gonna happening in the next match for liverpool but saying if it will be able to beat real madrid seems too good to be true. We can also use first leg as measurement for the second leg. Liverpool was not even able to beat real madrid on anfield and can we expect liverpool will able to win against madrid with 3-0 aggregate? that sounds unbelievable but liverpool can only rely with its luck. Madrid ahead enough number of away goals, it should be them who will qualify for the next phase. I feel sure of it. Even though they won 7-0 against Man United, but they lost 0-1 to Bournemouth. They didn't even show a good game like the previous game. They had a game and plenty of chances but failed to draw from Bournemouth. Fine and what you say is correct, but at the same time it would be a massive exaggeration to claim that Real Madrid would beat them 5-2 in an away game any time because they would not. The game went this way this time, but I am sure if you repeat the game 100 times Liverpool wouldn't lose it 2-5 again. These things happen as likely as the game against Manchester United ended 7-0, which is also an outlier.

I agree that the chance for Liverpool to make a come back is like 1%, but Real Madrid also isn't such a strong team as the result from the first leg could suggest.

I think even Manchester City is performing worse than many people would have expected when they were able to sign Haaland. It is not like they win their games with ease. They are struggling at times in the Premier League and in the Champions League.

As of now I think that Napoli might be one of the biggest favorites for the title with Bayern Munich.

Initially I had high hopes for Liverpool after they surprised me by beating MU 7-0. but after seeing the match against Bournemouth I really don't understand what happened to Liverpool. their ups and downs of consistency are really quite severe. so that in the match against Real Madrid it seemed that Liverpool had no hope anymore. but let's just see if they will get a miracle and luck like the match against MU or instead suffer a worse defeat than in the first leg.

If you are talking about the final game of the champions league in 2005, I remember the game between Liverpool and Milan when Milan had a star like Kaka and they scored three goals in the first half while Liverpool make a sweet comeback and they scored three goals in the second half and then in the penalty kicks Liverpool won the game while Milan much better players, I think Liverpool can do another comeback this time against Real Madrid.

Does anyone remember Liverpool's great comeback against Barcelona a few years ago, when they overcame a three-goal deficit against Barcelona and won 4:0?
After that miraculous turnaround and great victory against Barcelona, Liverpool then became European champions for the last time.
Already from these examples it can be seen that Liverpool is an expert in great reversals and unexpected victories, so they should not be underestimated in the match against Real.

Napoli didn't let their opponent become a problem for themselves. Actually Frankfurt were one of the surprising teams and they had potential to make more surprises in the tournament as well. But their performance wasn't good enough to get a win. I don't think they can do more in the second leg in Italy.
