I don't agree that they are being placed in a weak group. It is as tough as it can get. They have two very strong teams (Spain and Scotland) in addition to two teams that can spring some surprises every now and then (Cyprus and Georgia). After heavy defeats to Spain and Scotland, now the chances of Norway qualifying for the final tournament is very low. In the next phase they have one match against Georgia. But even if they win that match, Spain can easily overtake them to become no.2 in the group. For Spain there are two matches in the next phase - against Georgia and Cyprus.

Italy, Netherlands and Spain are actually very strong teams for the Euros and of course these three teams can have more wins than some of the teams on your list.

to be fair; theres not much anyone can blame Haaland for; Yes Haaland is an important factor in the Norway squad; but there's so little he can do without struggling tbh. But I still believe that at this point France and England are the two strongest teams from the UEFA confederation. I would rather place Croatia at no.3. Spain and Italy are rebuilding their teams after the retirement of their senior players, so it will take some time to catch up with the top-3. BTW, Germany is now #15 in the FIFA rankings, which is three spots below Switzerland. I would think twice before placing them with Italy.

Still, there is no big difference between them and England. England has better players from time to time. Also, Croatia has an older cast. After a few years, they can be an average team. Considering all these, England can take place in the ranking after France.

All of a sudden the Spain team changed several players and the team turned into an erratic team which we have seen in other tournaments including the World Cup. But recently Spain has picked itself up. Spain recently won the UEFA Nations League trophy against Croatia. Now this team can be called favorite in any tournament. Spain is undoubtedly a favorite against Cyprus. And I am hopeful that the result of this match will go in Spain's favour. Although nothing can be said for sure but the result of this match seems to me to go in favor of Spain. 

Scotland is in a good position at the moment. They have a chance to finish this round at number one position in the table. I hope Spain will not make any mistakes in this regard.

You can't just win games with Haaland, I mean sure he is a good player but at the end of the day we are not going to see a lot of them all the time, it's just not going to work that well. We need to realize that we are going to end up with some trouble in the end if we keep this up and that's going to end up with a terrible result if we do not know what we are going to do.

I understand that Haaland is great but if you keep giving him the ball and expect him to score then it is going to end up with a loss. Sure he missed some games but the team sucks if that's their only plan, he might be good but he needs a decent team with him in order to win something, without him winning anything at all then we are not going to see a good result.

Sweden are far away from their look in the past for sure. In their times with Zlatan they were much stronger than this. They were a team that showed a really solid resistance in many matches. But now they are trying to find themselves again. Actually there are really talented players in the squad especially in the midfield and offense area. But most of these players are really young now so this generation might need some time to have a good affect on their results.

When it comes to Iceland I still remember how great they were in Euro 2016.    They made it to the quarter finals by even eliminating a very strong team like England. Those times they were really strong in defense and their strategy was working very well. But they aren't a consistent team of course and we don't see the same ambition anymore either.

It's difficult to hang all hopes on one player, especially when compared to how he performs at the club, because of course it's different, at the club he gets teammates who can provide good assists so he can execute them perfectly into goals but in the national team where he rarely plays together it takes time to be able to immediately compact with one another.

Honestly, in my opinion, the top 5 national teams have equal chances to become the new champions of Europe, with a slight advantage for France.
