But I still believe that at this point France and England are the two strongest teams from the UEFA confederation. I would rather place Croatia at no.3. Here I agree with @Sithara007 as they need to do something if they want to increase their quality and performance, but things are looking not positive for them with limited sources, and secondly they also have no luxury of migrant population which contribute for the better results like we have in many other European countries.

With their currently quality and performance mostly they can stand at third or fourth into their groups for the top competitions and have no fair chance for any quality event few years back things were going good, and they were doing good as well but now in last few years they are completely down and having chances for staying at this level until they have any revolutionary change into their system.

Only two key players in the Croatian team are over 30 years old, Modrić at 37 and Perišić at 34. The retirement of these two after the EURO will not mean a big change of generations in the Croatian national team, although of course it will be a certain handicap.
However, Croatia still has a lot of young and talented players in the team like Gvardiol (soon to Manchester City) who is only 21 years old, Kovacic (Manchester City) who is 29 years old, Stanisic (Bayern) who is only 23 years old, Majer (Rennes) who is only 25 years old... so there is no need to worry about the future of the Croatian national football team.
I don't think this is the end of Croatia's golden generation and Croatia will be strong again at the EURO and at the next world cup.

Erling Haaland is a player who needs support from the team, so if he doesn't have assists, it's hard for him to score goals. he actually won 1 vs 1 with the opposing defender. Only certain teams are rarely able to get this situation.

Yeah I agree, recently we have impressive performance from the Croatia, and they are surely one of the best country which is producing good players in last decade with this advantage they can do better in coming years as well too many impressive players are in different big clubs in UEFA which have bright future and surely with these quality players things are not bad for the Croatian national team as well which have good history in the short time.

They can hope that a treble winning of Manchester City including Champions League will help their national team gain big success. We see Spain, Germany got a lot of positive impacts from their club success.

Considering how well they have done so far, I am guessing that everyone is favoring France easily, yet the biggest threat they have is that a lot of their players are young as well, not all of course but plenty of young stars in that team which means that they are going to be favorites for many upcoming tournaments, at least until 2030 world cup.

Argentina will survive without Messi. They have good depth in player pool. But I can't say whether they will be able to defend the trophy in 2026 without Messi. They have a very well balanced team with youngsters like Julián Álvarez, Nicolás González, Alexis Mac Allister and Enzo Fernández providing enough support to veteran players like Ángel Di María, Rodrigo De Paul and Messi. France also have a similar setup, but then the ci-ordination between different payers is not that great. Argentina on the other hand has excellent team cohesion.
