I saw the performance of Switzerland and Italy in the group phase, these two teams have almost equal strength so it is quite possible that this match will be fierce and difficult for both teams, regarding the percentage to qualify for the last 8 I think Switzerland and Italy have the percentage the same one.
For betting, I plan to bet on Switzerland in this match, because with the squad that Italy has at this Euro I still doubt them.

And for Germany, which performed quite well during the group phase matches, it will be quite the favorite to beat Denmark, I think that's natural because Germany is superior in everything compared to Denmark.

Switzerland is better than Italy and Italy is worse than I thought... Italy's game seems like there is no creativity from the players or even Spalletti's own strageti, the game is more monotonous, there is no development since the match against Serbia even though it can finally score a goal in that match, but we see now how Switzerland is playing more nicely while Italy is still struggling to find space, meaning Italy is playing badly.

Most of the gamblers thought of Italy team hot favorites in this match. But at the Group Stage I saw the performance of Italy players. I didn't see good performances on the Group Stage from Italy. So in this match I did not bet in Italy.

This is a surprise in the round of 16, of course because Italy is the favorite team that should be able to beat Switzerland because of the talent of its players. The two goals scored by the Switzerland players Freulars and Vargas were one of the most interesting matches I've watched today with the much excitement and aura that illuminated from the eyes of the fans and country men today. Italy is not just your regular national team but happened to be the reigning champions in the UEFA Euro championship, also sending them packing back home was a big deal and a laudable effort made by the Switzerland guys. They are really good with and without the ball, all the players knows what to do and where to be when they are trying to get the ball, talking about Switzerland. If they continue like this I believe their opponent will be very aware of the danger they can cause, that's if Switzerland manage to qualify but to me is already done, Italy can't come back from this 2nil at the moment because they're just unlucky and they don't seem to be sharp with the ball.

I agree that Switzerland was a much more organized team than Italy. In general, if Italy don't have Donnaruma they would not have reached this stage, but unfortunately Donnaruma did not learn to score goals, and apparently there is no one else in the national team to do it.
Switzerland is legitimate to go further and I think is one of the main contenders for victory at this Euro.
Even more strange are the odds that were before the match, when the odds on Italy's victory were 2.5, and on Switzerland's victory 3.4, and those who were not afraid and bet on Switzerland could make good money.

Their solid defense couldn't stop a goal from the Switzerland attackers, and the Italy defenders are not well coordinated since because they have already conceded a goal with two shots on goals in the first half, meanwhile their attack are yet to register a shot in the match

Their defense isn't good but still better than their midfield and attacking systems but their performance in the first half can be described as very poor and terrible. Switzerland deserve with the goal after create high ball possession and break Italy too many parts. There is no good bond among Italy players and their coach Spaletti will have to do more than one substitution at start of the second half.

It was nothing short of a poor tactical application from Spaletti, the defense from the Italian side in this game, the midfield and attacking forward wasn't of anything better either, there was a lack of confidence about how they performed. The Swiss were just the better side in the game, gave an absolute performance with a dripping intensity and  pressure. It was a deserving win right from the first half the signs were there...

Next game tonight is that of the host nation Germany vs Denmark which am optimistic about Germany outplaying Denmark to get into the next round. Not saying it going to be an easy game but Germany would have to win

After going through the group stages of this year Euro competition, I understood the abnormality in the competition. When I saw France suffer and including England and other strong countries, I knew something fishy was cooking. I wasn't so surprised in the elimination of Italy because they have not been themselves for some time after the last Euro. The worst thing that Germany will do to themselves this night is to underrate Denmark. In the recent time the meeting between Denmark and the Germany has ended in draws except one that Denmark had to win Germany. So Germany does not even have a beautiful record against Denmark. Who knows if this is the year of the underdogs. I said this because, if Southgate does not change pattern England might not move to the next stage. If France does not put themselves together they might not also move to the next stage. And if by mistake Germany is eliminated this night, know that this euro is open to anybody to win. I am so much Happy when big countries and big names are eliminated early enough in competitions. Switzerland really silenced the Italian fans today by winning the match 2-0 without reply. I actually didn’t expect Italy to lose today’s match considering Italy were the favourites to win but in reality it didn’t happen so Switzerland deserved to celebrate their victory today after producing more good attacks in today’s match. And it looks like in the other matches in the round of 16 this time there will be more surprises from teams who are not the favourites to win.

I am so disappointed at Italy today because not only did Switzerland humiliated them, they also outplayed them. I saw the signs in their encounter with Croatia which they almost lost if not that they were lucky to get that last minute goal by Mattia Zaccagni. Today Italy have confirmed that something was not right with the team as their weakness have been exposed. I had actually thought they would be able to win or at least secure a draw and take the match to extra time but I guess I would have lost my money if I had backed my expectations with a bet on them.

Italy was deserved. Italy showed a poor performance, but Spalletti is the main problem here. For what use do spalletti serve fagioli as a starting line-up? Fagioli just returned from his ban; thus, I'm not sure why Spalletti used him.
In this game, Pellegrini, Cristante, and Scamacca are absolutely clueless. Clearly, Switzerland dominated the game against Italy, which concerned me at the group level, and they demonstrated their true quality.

I would not blame the coach in this loose of the Italy side because the manager did all he can but those guys you mentioned can't play as a unit, in fact the whole players who started the game, so they just have to run round the pitch without knowing the next thing to do and if they were lucky to win this game against Switzerland they can never get past any team they come against because they don't understand themselves. So the coach don't know how to balance the game after seeing the messed up players he started, he just have to let it go and accept defeat.

First 45 minutes gone and Italy don't have any shot on target should tell you how seriously Switzerland are taking their defense and I'm not surprised at such a statistics as the home side see doing all the pressing with a possession of 56% and more offense Italy's eighteen yard box. With how intense first half has been, it will mount more pressure on Italy to turn events to their favor in the second half else it will prove deadly.
 I expected the game to be fierce, but I least expected the Italians to be pushed into the background and become so reckless to be causing so many fouls. Switzerland seem to be enjoying themselves but I hope they can maintain this confidence in the second half so that they can hit Italy where it hurts the most; eliminating them.
 

The first half has the Switzerland written all over it with the Italians playing as if they're leading by 4 goals to nil, it is disappointing coming from Italy. Never expected the game to be one sided, Italy are suppose to come out as the favorite in this encounter but they're not having what it takes to break the defense of the Switzerland team in the first half.
Although is not yet over, I just hope the leading team (Switzerland) won't let their guide down by giving Italy a chance to find the ball in the back of the net. I hope this first half will pass a message to other big nations who are playing against the smaller ones to be mindful of how they underrate their opponent before the kick off of the game, let's see what Italy has to offer in this second half.

I won't really blame the Italians for losing today. I mean if they hadn't lost and had managed a win, it will have become some sort of bragging rights that they have 29 wins to their belt and that despite the initial stubbornness of the Swiss, they (the Italians) were still able to silence them. At least history gets to be broken that in the last eleven games theyve played, Switzerland gets a resounding victory, silencing their opponents.
 Another thing I feel got Switzerland the victory is they refused to get intimidated by Italy and their trickery. For the most part of the game, Italy found it difficult to hold the ball past two minutes. As if they were being too careful to make a mistake.
