From what I know, Canada and Mexico will host 10 games each and the rest will be held in US soil. That is quite less because in this new format where 48 teams will play, there will be a total of 100+ games. I mean, it should be maximized because they also have a large stadium to host some of the games and it will be a big help to the host cities to boost their businesses.

As far as I know, this 10-match figure was decided earlier, when FIFA was thinking about a 3 team per group format. But then they changed the format to 4-team groups and therefore the total number of matches almost doubled to 104. So I guess both Canada and Mexico will get more matches to be staged within their borders. But I have a question here. If USA is hosting more than 70% of the matches, then why Canada and Mexico are being allotted automatic qualification to the 2026 World Cup? They are not co-hosts. They are just subsidiary hosts.

Well, many things are evident here, the first is obvious that the USA has total control over things, I don't know whether to call it hegemony, or power, because it is always the same, the Country that has the most power in everything is the USA, and In this particular case, Canada follows and then finally Mexico, although I am in favor of something, there are 3 games, they must be held equally in the 3 countries and the country that is the Opening should not be where the final is held, but in Given the state of things, I don't know how the games are managed, and which country is most likely to host the most games.

Agreed. This tournament doesn't make any sense. When we already have the Euro Cup, what is the point in having the UEFA Nations League? And the advantage with Euro is that it gets completed in less than a month, while the UEFA Nations League goes on for more than a year in staggered phases. If UEFA can't conduct this tournament in a single phase (or at least over a shorter duration), then it will be better to shelve it completely and use the resources (time and funds) available to further expand the Euro Cup.

The bribe part is true, but there is a limit to it for sure. Look at how they are approaching to Russia deal right now, because of the war they are saying that Russia can't join, and yet Russia attacked Ukraine before this one as well, this wasn't the first time they did something like that, they did attacked Ukraine in 2014 I think? Not sure, and yet they did managed to host world cup anyway.

So all you can see that there is a limit, Russia attacked Ukraine and hosted, then Russia attacked Ukraine and kicked out, not sure what was the difference between the first attack and the second attack, it is not like they were not allowed to even join, they were HOSTING it after the first one, and the second one they just kicked out and can't even play. They are in fact considering about a lot more people, Messi, Mourinho and all that which would be a great deal and definitely could be considered a great idea.

It was perhaps the most unexpected result during Qatar 2022. No one expected Argentina to go down against Saudi Arabia, and that too in their first match. But to their credit, Argentina recovered well, and never lost another match in the tournament. Saudi Arabia on the other hand failed to qualify for the round of 16. But then, the edition of 2022 was full of surprises. Brazil lost to Cameroon, France lost to Tunisia, Germany lost to Japan and so on. I just hope that in 2026 also we will be able to witness similar upsets.

I'm not sure it was the best to have the world cup in Qatar, but in the end it was actually quite entertaining overall. Bu the host team didn't manage to even perform at a minimum level, they should not have qualified.

But Saudi Arabia won against the current champions, Argentina. That might give them a boost in the selection process.

Well, yes, that is one of the few reasons why Saudi Arabia acquired Cristiano Ronaldo despite his humungous talent fee, it's a gamble they can take for sure in-exchange for the bigger picture that they are trying to project and of course, make it happen soon enough knowing that the country got a vast resources just waiting to be used.

Just a little fact, even the government are turning a blind eye for Cristiano Ronaldo's situation because right now, Saudi Arabia is in the middle of controversy because the citizens are not happy with the situation where the couple is literally breaking a law for sleeping with each other in one single house even if they are not married to each other.

I think that things are better without alcohol, alcohol sometimes makes people lose control, sometimes freedoms can turn into tragedies if they are Abused, because this becomes Licentiousness and that is not good, always that there is alcohol associated with it, sometimes they can kill and they don't remember what they did, and then if so, how is it left after a misfortune occurs?I think that the healthiest thing here is that in the next World Cup there will be no alcoholic beverages,but it is difficult to Control,and if they have those Freedoms,then more problems can be generated.

Those countries usually have alcohol as part of their culture. Therefore, I don't think the world cup will remove alcohol any time soon.

Plus, they have sponsors from alcoholic companies, so there's almost no chance of having a world cup free of alcohol.

Well, you are right, alcohol and sports do go hand in hand, though not for the players  .
I also do not think alcohol will be banned completely in the sports arena,  but I do expect it to happen on some special occasions, like what we saw in Qatar last year, but I believe there won't be such ban in 2026 world cup, being that USA, Canada, Mexico, are countries that are known for high standards, and I believe the citizens are more civilized than citizens of most other countries, coupled with their tight security system, making sure all go Well shouldn't be a hassle, even with alcohol present in the stadium.
