That will be though match for Rune against Ruud. They played 4 times, every time on clay and Ruud won all four matches. That being said Rune is playing his best clay season while Ruud is playing a bit below his maximum. Maybe it will be enough but I am not betting on that one.

Since I'm leading 1-0 it looks like I just need Tsitsipas in the final or Everton to beat Wolves. I can't believe Real was so humiliated last night.

It was right damn about time that good football should humiliate extreme luck!

This should have played out a number of times over the past few seasons honestly, everyone that's lover of good football over those that'd rather support football with any means of win could attest that Guardiola and Liverpool have teams should have these kinds of games with distinct conviction that good football pays, but the only attribute to their loses is nothing but just a case of being unlucky, and it's played out on several occasion this most recent one would be the case of Real Madrid's victory over Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool, I'm sure quite a few of us here would agree the path to those victories was more of luck paying over good footballing decisions.

So my final statement on that game would be that when you make the best logical decisions in football, it won't guarantee you result every time or most times, but then people will always know good football when they see one, and as the saying goes; "you can't be unlucky forever."

Congratulations, CLS63- You have won this round! That was fast, I don't see this record being beaten in a long time, I was wrong to have gone with Real Madrid it was a massive gamble for me but I had to because I had already gone with Man City 2-1 in the Betnomi CL pool, I wanted to spread my legs to at least get one result. (At least i wont be checking spreadsheet after tonight.)

When it comes to Real Madrid you can never be sure until the end of the match. Don't forget about how they eliminated Manchester City in the previous season please. When we are against each other next season let's make a small bet. I'm really curious about the next match against each other after this many common answers.

The game was fucking boring at some point, with City passing the ball around while Real Madrid players ran behind the ball for the entire 90 mins, the players knew they were fucked from the first 15 minutes, and we can all agree that Real Madrid has been riding on luck for quite some time now, and they ran out of it last night.

He took my spot, for which I will be eternally thankful; he will quickly advance from the Div2 to the Div1; the Div 2 will be significantly more competitive than the main League next season, with Cro2 teams joining the Div 2.

Well... Since both Đoković and Rublev (Darxiaomi's picks for the tennis question) are out of the Rome tournament, I think that I have secured at least a draw against Darxiaomi. I'm currently leading 3-2 and we have only two different answers left (ninth and tenth). Since he can only get a point against me in the ninth question (his 10. answer is wrong), the best he can get for this week is a draw.

Finally someone says it I know that it can't be argued about Real Madrid having won so many titles in the champions league. But as you said, sometimes it seemed as if they had access to an unlimited source of luck. They have rarely been the better team in those games. I have to say that Real Madrid played quite well in the second half of the first leg, some great combinations and very well structured on the pitch.

But when you take the last seasons they won the champions league, it started in 13/14 when Ramos scored the equalizer in the 93rd minute in the final and Atletico was the better team. They have had so many games that could have gone either way, but it went in Madrid's favor. But now Manchester City was so superior in the 2nd leg. But it is interesting that these two games were no Haaland and Benzema games at all. That is the one thing that Madrid did quite well, take Haaland out of the game.

Now for the final I expect a game with over 70% ball possession for Manchester City. It is probably not going to be the most entertaining game.
