The idea is to prevent him from running. That is the message I get when I analyze the strategy from the Democrat party. And to be honest, I don't know how this will turn out. There is not enough opinion poll information to know whether Trump is going to benefit from all this drama or not. And as I have mentioned many times in the past, the POTUS election results are very dependent on what is going on in the swing states. So I want to know whether voters in swing states such as AZ, PA, GA and NV sympathize with Trump or not.

Trump supporters are not a majority in the United States, but they are part of an important percentage within the Republican voting base. Hence, the reason Republican politicians going for the presidency try not to directly attack Trump. Not even Mike Pence who is one of the victims of the attack on the capitol.

It seems that bettors for now believe that the people of USA will repeat what we saw in the mid term elections, when those candidates picked by Trump and endorsed by him ended up losing.

Still the odds are so separate from each other, something unexpected can turn the situation in Trump's favor.

I was not expecting to see Trump back in Twitter, to be honest. I must admit that the timing was genius on his part, he managed to catch much of the attention by himself posting his own mugshot. He is trying to turn something must of us would perceive as negative into a tool for his political career.
I have my doubts he will come back to Twitter as the old days before Jan 6, he has already compromised with Truth Social, though, after seeing such numbers and support from people who are wearing his mugshot as a shirt, he could feel tempted to become a regular Twitter user again.

After all, he is a successful businessman. He knows how to stay in limelight. It is very clear that his experiment with Truth Social had failed. Social media users are mostly young, and few of them have a solid political inclination. Trump was hoping that all of the conservative users may follow his lead and dump Twitter for Truth Social. But that never happened. Twitter users want a mix of different topics and not just Trump-related news. And those who joined Truth Social are mostly hardcore Trump supporters and there will be no net addition for GOP. Trump gained more supporters as he became the 4x champ of this indictment. Many of these supporters see these indictments as election intervention to stop him from running. I consider the winner of a primary debate to be someone who increases their chance of being the nominee for that party, and as such there was actually no winner of this debate. Trump sits 30-40 points ahead of every candidate, and no particular candidate had a stellar performance that would lend himself or herself to taking the Republican nominee from Trump.

That being said, Ramaswamy stood out the most. He's charismatic and a good debater. He took the most attacks from other candidates and was able to respond efficiently. DeSantis, despite not being attacked, came out rather flat with many rehearsed lines. His conservative record is impressive, but he isn't a great politician. I see Ramaswamy surging slightly in the odds eating away at DeSantis's lead.

You have faith in Ramaswamy? I will concede that the fellow has panache. However, charisma only goes so far. You require more than a dazzling smile and a few humorous rejoinders. What about DeSantis? If you ask me, De-Yawn-tis is a more apt term. And Trump's absence was comparable to holding the World Series without the defending champions. His absence did not diminish his presence! The interview with Tucker? Brilliant move, worthy of a kingpin's ability to attract attention Trump is still the heavyweight champion in this situation. The rest? It depends whom you ask whether Trump is a successful businessman or not, I have seen people around internet saying that he has lost much of the fortune he inherited from his father and the only good thing he has left is real state. Trump and "smarter" is something I don't think I can say that I've thought very often.  The truth is it absolutely does not matter what Trump does, his strongest supporters will back him up no matter what he says or does, legal or illegal.  It's sad really, the fact that we've come to this as a country, that we allow these criminal politicians to basically do whatever they want.  He wouldn't have been arrested if he didn't do anything wrong, let along arrested 4 times.

Thats alot of traffic, I wasnt thinking there are even that many active voters.  Often the turn out rate is quite poor in many countries, we discuss negatives in many ways but ironically all these headlines make for involvement of a larger section of society probably.   Democratically you want as many people to vote as possibly, who would have guessed it would be at the same time the entire process is called into question for its validity.     I think the numbers being high means we have no shortage of places offering odds for all candidates.
   The other point I wanted to make is to exclude anyone as a valid choice at this point seems incorrect.  Obama and Trump share the burden of being nobody candidates, neither was especially long term valid in their lead up to being elected.   Traditional politics and the path taken to power is well laid down and in these last few decades been upset to the point anyone can win, thats my conclusion.

Although overseas citizens have voting right but mainly it is the vote of the US citizens who can make or break any presidential candidate win or lose in the elections. I do not think that such a small community can have any significant impact on the elections.

To be frank, right now it is hard for to guess who will win this 2024 elections. The Biden government have increases interest rates throughout the last few months which have help to fight against the inflation and this act of him may benefit him to get more votes as compared to the other candidates.

Biden administration has progressively brought back the policy of forced regime change in third world nations, something that was abandoned during the Trump regime (2016-20). And they have intervened not just in Pakistan, but also in several other countries. That said, I am not sure whether the protest by Americans of Pakistani origin will have any impact. As far as I know, there are sections of people who are in favor of the Imran Khan regime, however there are also sizable numbers who favor the current regime (headed by Shehbaz Sharif of the PML-N).
