There are lots of bets that are made when there is an election in a country and it doesn't only happen in the US but also in several countries out there, even the country where I live, there are always people who make bets when there is an election.
I don't know how to place bets on elections because I myself have never participated in this bet.
Maybe election betting will not only benefit the bettors but also the election candidates because with indirect betting there will be more and more people supporting them during the election.
But unfortunately in my country when there are elections and betting there are always debates and fights if the final results of the elections do not match expectations so I myself have the thought that betting on elections will actually get someone in trouble and therefore I am not interested in betting at all in the election even though what is at stake is the election in the US state.

There are a few whose odds are >100x. The first name that comes to my mind at this point is that of Bernie Sanders. From the GOP side, we have Josh Hawley, Kevin McCarthy, Donald Trump Jr, Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin. From the Dems we have Tammy Duckworth, Joe Manchin, Amy Klobuchar and Hillary Clinton. At this point, the odds for most of these candidates are very low, but at least for some of them, it will change as the election date approaches. So you may or may not turn lucky, if you select any of these candidates.

Yes and the OP is aware of the schedule of this event but he is only preparing for it. He want to see what others are picking and he might rely on it because he doesn't have adequate knowledge but he can also skip this and focus only the games that he knew the most. That way he won't rely on other people and he will feel less regret and he will only feel proud if he won the bet on his own. Since the official schedule of the event is still far, the OP can also analyze it on its own.

Why not bet only here for fun? You can choose to bet now or later. If it is a losing bet, it wouldn't really hurt you because you will still recover what you have lost in other games.

Every time I've tried that, the outcome was the opposite of what I've predicted (i.e. imho the worse president of the two main candidates was the one elected). That's true. All the candidates are bad, there are no real politicians that you look up to and respect. No real role models.
That said, I can't believe people are still ready to vote for Biden. This guy is barely hanging on and it's clear he's not making these decisions by himself. He's just a puppet that can't even find his way to the stand.

From what I see, the other thread is just for the POTUS elections of 2024. This one covers the entire election season, including POTUS, senate, house and state-level elections. Now don't ask me whether the other elections (apart from POTUS) are important or not. To be honest I don't know since I am not a resident of the United States. But from what I have seen in the past (during the election seasons of 2020 and 2022), a lot of bets do get placed for some of the competitive senate races. I agree, it will be beneficial to us if who are the those people, it can help us to decide if we are able to bet who will be the next president of us. it can also have a great impact to the bitcoin price right now, it happens last time if I am remembering it correctly.
