Nice initiative giving a separate thread for IPL discussion. I am surprised Royse777 didn't went on to organize any superbru this time but anyways I think we were having quite low participations in that. But yes this thread is good forum for discussion.

Today's match looks completely in favour of Gujarat Titans so far but as you know the beauty of T20 it's never over till it's over. Wicket of Vijay Shankar can change a lot of things here.

I think IPL is the best league in the world. Because in this league the best players in the world also come to play, and this league will appear all over the world. Besides, the games of this league are watched by people all over the world and are greatly enjoyed.

Today's match looks completely in favour of Gujarat Titans so far but as you know the beauty of T20 it's never over till it's over. Wicket of Vijay Shankar can change a lot of things here.

Gujrat titans won the match by 5 wickets. I would call this a comprehensive win by them. MS Dhoni and team need to see how things can be improved in the future. Even though Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 92 runs and Chennai Super Kings  made 176 runs which they should have defended in the first place.

Gujrat titans played well as a unit and Shubman Gill scored 63 runs making partnerships at the top which set the platform for the batsmen to follow.

Tomorrow there will be a double header where Punjab Kings take on KKR while Lucknow Super Giants will take on Delhi Capitals later in the day at Lucknow.

Earlier Royse777 used to get sponsor for the IPL prediction pool. This time he had sponsored the pool. During the T20 World Cup we were short of participants and lets see whether IPL had good number of participants.

I didn't mention about the prediction pool, I said about the thread being created for IPL discussion. Royse777 have proposed for the creation of separate pool. Indian Premier League (IPL)Gujarat's performance was very good because of their performance from the start and showed experience on the field based on their batting and bowling.  But Chennai could not survive against Gujarat as Ruturaj got good support from the batting side but other batsmen later failed to provide runs for Chennai.  Meanwhile Shubman Gill scored massive runs for the team in few balls due to which the team won without much pressure.  And to top the points table, Gujarat Titans collected 2 points.

Punjab Kings  vs  Kolkata Knight Riders

In today's first match, Punjab Kings will play against Kolkata Knight Riders. The Punjab team has star players like Sam Curran, Shikhar Dhawan, and Rabada. The team is strong enough. However, we still do not know how the players of the team are in form. On the other hand, the Kolkata squad has star players like Ventakesh Iyer, Liton, Russel, and Shakib. Sakib and Liton are in good form now. But we are not sure yet how Liton will perform in IPL.

Actually, both these teams seem equally strong to me. But I think the Indian players of Punjab are better than the Indian players of Kolkata. But we don't know how they will perform on the field. But I personally like the Kolkata team. I will definitely expect Kolkata to win.

First of all Congratulations Gujrat Titans to win First Match of IPL by 5 wickets against Chennai Super Kings. The growth of Gujarat Titans in the IPL this year has been exciting to see. The main drivers of their success have been their dependable play and on field experience. Chennai uneven play on the other hand has worried its supporters. Ruturaj received some assistance from the batting side but the team was unable to take advantage of it. Shubman Gill outstanding performnce made it easy for his team to win. It will be wonderful to see how the rest of the season plays out and whether the Gujarat Titans can keep up their lead in the points standing.

KKR captain Nitish Rana won the toss and took the fielding decision. But Kolkata bowlers are not able to perform well. Punjab collected 109 runs in 11 overs. And they lost just two wickets. Shikhar Dhawan was unbeaten with 34 runs off 23 balls. Bhanuka Rajapaksha returned to the dressing room after scoring 50 runs off just 32 balls. Every batsman in the top order is able to perform well. Because the performance of Kolkata bowlers is not good enough. Umesh Yadav can bowl with some control but I don't see better performance from any other bowlers. Bowling like this, I think Punjab will collect like 210 today. If Punjab provides more than 200 targets, it will be much more difficult for Kolkata to win this match. Kolkata's lineup doesn't seem too strong either.

Well this is not one of the most well known leagues and it is good for all us gamblers who keep playing sport betting consistently to have some info about such leagues also as sometimes in the less well known leagues is where all the money is made so congratulations on opening such thread.

I personally have never gambled on Indian Premier League games exactly because I have no idea about the league and the games so I am reading here a bit and once I will have a better idea I will probably start betting on this league also.

This is strange because if you are a fan of cricket then you must know about the IPL. Yes, some people do not bet, but not knowing IPL in the cricketing world is really strange.

The rain ruin any chances for KKR team to come back in the match although they were struggling when the rain came down. Still, I wished we could have finished the whole 20 overs.

Kolkata's fortunes were very bad. So they lost this match. Kolkata would have been able to win this match if they got a chance to play the full 20 overs. Because Sunil Narine and Shardul Thakur were at the crease. Narine is quite a good batsman. However, I was not satisfied with Kolkata's performance in today's match. Their bowling was uncontrollable. The Kolkata squad is not strong enough. And if Kolkata perform like this in their upcoming matches, this team will be at the bottom of the table.

Delhi capital lost the match against Lucknow Super Giants by 50 runs ,Good batting and balling by Lucknow Super Giants  they managed to pick all important wickets on time.

KKR team looks so average this time. The bowling attack is good but that also looks so average on a flat track. Batting only looks good until their openers bat and when Russel comes to bat apart from this looks like no one has any role to play. Punjab played well as well have to give them the credit atleast in the batting they batted really well.

Lucknow Super Giants vs Delhi Capitals

In this third match of indian premier league LSG face Delhi Capital, from start of the Lucknow Super Giants were looking good because Thier opener batter Kyle Mayers hit the opponent very hard and scored 73 by hitting 7 sixes, also pooran help them little but by hitting 3 sixes. I think in the absence of captain Rishabh pant Delhi Capital not look confident and due to that reason no one rather than warner perform well, also credit goes to LSG bowler the speed gun M.wood who put pressure of his pace on opponent and get 5 dismissal and hence they won the match....
