In this third match of indian premier league LSG face Delhi Capital, from start of the Lucknow Super Giants were looking good because Thier opener batter Kyle Mayers hit the opponent very hard and scored 73 by hitting 7 sixes, also pooran help them little but by hitting 3 sixes. I think in the absence of captain Rishabh pant Delhi Capital not look confident and due to that reason no one rather than warner perform well, also credit goes to LSG bowler the speed gun M.wood who put pressure of his pace on opponent and get 5 dismissal and hence they won the match....

It was already expected that Lucknow will win this match. I am saying this as I seeing the odds were favoring the Lucknow team before the start of this match.

The player of the match was Mark wood who took 5 wickets and give only 14 runs. This  was truly a match winning bowling performance by him and in the end Lucknow won this match easily by 50 runs.

The 2nd match of the IPL has ended in favor of Punjab Kings ad they won by seven runs through DLS. I would say it was tough luck for Kolkata Knight Riders. The rain ruin any chances for KKR team to come back in the match although they were struggling when the rain came down. Still, I wished we could have finished the whole 20 overs.

Kolkata's fortunes were very bad. So they lost this match. Kolkata would have been able to win this match if they got a chance to play the full 20 overs. Because Sunil Narine and Shardul Thakur were at the crease. Narine is quite a good batsman. However, I was not satisfied with Kolkata's performance in today's match. Their bowling was uncontrollable. The Kolkata squad is not strong enough. And if Kolkata perform like this in their upcoming matches, this team will be at the bottom of the table.

I don't really think that they could win the match even if they have got opportunity to play the whole overs because there were 7 wickets down and Narine was the only player who could hit big shots, and even for him, it doesn't always work and he mostly gets out trying to hit big and fails to lead the charge mostly as we've seen in the past.

It was unfortunate of course, but as you said, their performance wasn't up to the mark. They have conceded a lot of runs and their batsmen too couldn't build any partnerships. They need to work on these couple of things if they don't want to lack behind in the league round.

Rajasthan was able to set a huge target in 204 because of such a great performance by the players. Even so, we thought the match might be competitive. But the performance of Rajasthan batsmen as well as bowlers was excellent. Especially Boult and Chahal bowled well. Because of this, Sunrisers Hyderabad stumbled at the beginning of the innings. Abhishek and Rahul failed to score any runs. Hyderabad's collection was only 131 runs in 20 overs. Hyderabad were badly beaten. They lost by a huge margin of .72 runs.

Royal Challenger won the toss and allow Mumbai India to bat first a set a target form them. Unfortunately none of his opening batter like (hitman, Mr 360 , i.kishan ) score a decent runs just only middle order youngester Tilak Varma score big and thus with the help of him Mumbai indian set a target of 171 in 20th over by losing 7 wickets. Now the opponent team which is one of my favorite Royal Challenger Banglore almost take the match away from MI, because the king Kohli and captain du Plessis build a big partnership of 148 without losing even single wicket. Current king Kohli are not out and scored 76*, hope it will be an easy victory for him

Mumbai Indians reached good score of 171 runs. At some point it looked like Mumbai Indians won't reach 150 runs. Tilak Varma had a good innings and showed his ability. His 84*(46) was very important at that time as wickets kept falling. Siraj had good bowling spell and this target got easily chased by Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have shown their strength to the rest of the teams. The team managed to reach the target in 16.2 overs losing 2 wickets. Kohli at 83*(49) Du Plessis 73(43) had the major contribution. Maxwell and Kohli on the crease, Kohli finished in style with six.

I think Yashasvi scored 53 runs, didn't he? Or I think you are talking about runs scored by RR in the powerplay right? RR was dominating all the way today. The young team is all set to create big impact this time. But the only problem I find with RR in almost every season is that they start really well but eventually aren't able to maintain that consistency and therefore end up the league stage on a very bad note which leads to them never being able to win the trophy. But yes RR utilized the impact player really well as well. Even though I understand the concept of Impact player but the problem is that Impact player thing is clearly used by all the teams simply to get an extra batter and extra bowler as well, creating sort of a 12 vs 12 game.

I was thinking the same the other day. I do expect the competition to get intense and it will be fun to watch. Although we are seeing the high-scoring matches but the tournament is yet to see the nail bitter finishers.
